4. The parable "The Garden".

Once the king went to his garden and found withered and dying trees, bushes and flowers. Oak said that he was dying because he was not as tall as a pine tree. Turning to the pine, the king found that she was dying because she could not produce grapes. And the vineyard dies because it cannot bloom as beautifully as a rose.

And the king found only one flower, pansies, blooming and fresh as always. He was interested to know why this is happening. The flower replied:

-I took it for granted that when you put me down, it was pansies that you wanted. If you wanted to see an oak, vineyard or rose in the garden, you would plant them. And I - if I cannot be anything other than what I am - I will try to be that as best I can.

You are here because existence needs you as you are. Otherwise, there would be someone else here.

5. Exercise "Tree".

Time: 15 minutes.

Goals:Through drawing, adolescents will be able to discover important qualities of their own personality.

Materials:A3 drawing paper, wax crayons, music.

Instructions:There are many ways to know yourself. One of them is drawing. I want you to draw trees today. Draw a tree to your liking.

Decide which tree you would like to portray, how tall it will be, what shape it will have and what color it will be. Will there be flowers or fruits on it? Will it be young or old? Then you will see that all the trees come out very different. Draw in silence and don't talk to anyone. Concentrate on creating a tree that really appeals to you. Draw with pleasure and be glad that your own tree is gradually taking shape on paper.

Now sign the drawing and put today's number on it. Gather in groups of four and each in turn will put their drawing in the center, tell the story on behalf of the tree as if it itself is this tree. While you are describing the tree in this way, think about whether it looks like you in any way. Other members can help you by paying attention to details that you missed in your description.

When everyone has thus identified with their tree, you can briefly discuss with each other how you think the tree looks like the one who drew it.

Now go back to the big circle. Lift up your drawings. Tell us about your impressions of the trees you saw. Now take a suitable crayon and write in the picture a large letter "I ...", and then write down the most important features of your tree.

Now take your tree and hold it at chest level so that everyone can see it. I invite you for a walk. If you see a tree like yours or very similar, create a forest together. Thus, we will get a different forest in different places: spruce, birch, oak, etc. In the resulting groups, discuss the following points: what kind of forest are you, what does this forest want and what is it afraid of?

Exercise analysis:

Did I enjoy this exercise?

To what extent are the features of my tree also mine?

At what moments do I exhibit these traits?

Did I like myself on the "forest walk"?

Which tree did I particularly like?

How do I feel now?

6. Information block "Optimists and pessimists".

Target: to communicate in an accessible form about the behavior and thinking styles of optimists and pessimists, how they behave in difficult situations, to understand effective ways of behaving in various tests.
Time:15 minutes.

Guys, what do you think isoptimist and pessimist?

Each of us sees the world and the people living in it in his own way. Some look at him with pink glasses and believe that our life consists only of white stripes, while others do not harbor any illusions about this and perceive everything only in black tones. Depending on their worldviews, such people are called optimists and pessimists.

What are these concepts and what is the difference?

Who are called optimists?

An optimist is a person who looks at life and all of its components from a positive point of view. The concept itself comes from the Latin word optimus, which means "best." Optimists are happy with every new day and get a lot of positive emotions from every moment. Moreover, all their impressions have a beneficial effect on the functioning of the body and activate the functions of the immune system. Optimists always say that the world is wonderful, people are great, and you can always find a way out of any situation. Many researchers believe that this attitude towards life lies in the style of thinking, according to which all failures are an accident and pass quickly, and positive events are quite natural and logical. Thanks to such thoughts, optimists find it much easier to converge with other people, they have many friends, since any person is always drawn to everything beautiful and cheerful.

Who are pessimists?

Pessimists have a negative outlook on life and see bad in everything. Hence the concept of the term pessimus - from the Latin "worst". Life is much more difficult for pessimists than for optimists, since their negative views of the world often lead to depression, despondency and alienate others. Such people are characterized by low efficiency and weak vital energy. They are lost in front of any problem, and every failure is perceived by them as the end of the world. Any pessimist will say that success in something is a pure accident, and it is not himself who is to blame for all his troubles, but his relatives and friends. Due to the constant being in despondency, pessimists suffer from stress, often get sick, their adrenaline level in their blood rises and their blood pressure rises. Complaints about one's life, disasters in society, political problems in the country are a common occurrence for a pessimist.

What's the difference between optimists and pessimists?

To understand the difference between optimists and pessimists, follow the simple example of a vessel half-filled with water. The former believe that this vessel is half full, the latter believe that it is half empty. Pessimists are able to assess the situation more soberly, while optimists tend to think superficially. Pessimists never overestimate their capabilities, so they are better able to predict their ups and downs.

An optimistic outlook significantly outperforms pessimistic worldviews, but it has a number of drawbacks. People with this mindset look at their lives as a series of victories and proof of their own progressive growth, so they never pay attention to temporary problems, even if they pose a risk to their life or well-being. Pessimists, on the other hand, have better control over the situation and rarely make mistakes in their judgments. According to many scientists, pessimistic people have a more developed intellect - although they are sadder, they are wiser. Pessimists should learn to enjoy life, and optimists should look at many things more realistically. The most valuable is the ability to find the "golden mean", trying not to exaggerate your problems and not indulge yourself with illusory ideas about the world and other people.

7.Exercise "Frankly speaking ..."

Now I propose to each of you to define a feeling, emotion, state with which he would like to say goodbye. Recall this feeling or state. Lay sheet A-4 in front of you, close your eyes and draw an outline (if you are "right-handed", draw with your left hand, and vice versa). Crumple this leaf, that there is strength, dip it in water, wet it completely, “bathe” it properly. Unfold the sheet of paper and use paints to create a new look. Further, each participant is invited to take small sheets of paper, pencils and carefully consider all the created paintings. How they "respond", write down on a separate sheet and leave next to the corresponding picture.

Then everyone can see what they have written. The sheets with the inscriptions should be laid out from the most pleasant to the least pleasant and the last 3 should be analyzed. Often these are repressed feelings that do not allow the participant to “live through” and let go of the problem situation.

Positive attitude

How to develop positive thinking and learn to enjoy life, in spite of everything? This is an important question, answering oneself, to which, life will become brighter and more positive. There are various exercises and trainings that will help you tune yourself in the right direction. We'll start with practical guidelines that are completely easy to use, but adhering to them, you will not recognize yourself in a week. So, expert advice:

Exercises for positive thinking

It so happens that our thinking depends on how we see the situation and what exactly we focus on. So, for example, when it is raining outside the window, someone will complain about the weather, and someone will admire it. So in life, someone concentrates their attention on the bad, and someone on the good. It is important to train yourself to concentrate on the good, to look for the positive in any situation, even if at first glance it seems to you a utopia. Psychologists have developed a series of exercises that will help you tune yourself into a positive and change your attitude towards a particular situation.

Here are some easy exercises from this cycle:

Stay optimistic in any situation, regardless of the current situation and the possibility of changing it, the ability to find positive moments makes life much easier. Look at the world around you a little through the prism of rose-colored glasses, you do not need to live in them, but it will not be superfluous to have them in your pocket. Do not aggravate, most often the situation due to which all the experiences occur is not worth even a few minutes of frustration, so take everything easier, love yourself and then life will sparkle with new bright colors!

The essence of positive thinking is that you do not need to blame life for your failures and look for any flaws in it. The main rule is to treat obstacles as solvable problems.

It is important to rely on your own strength and not rely on others. Self-belief prompts a person to act, and then he will not believe that everyone owes him.

Very often there are people who are chased by a chain of failures. They are prone to the fact that they often give up and stop pursuing their goals. The downside of such people is that they perceive failure as persistence and are hesitant to resume actions that will lead them to success.

Such barriers should only temper character and train a person to quickly solve problems that have arisen.

To set yourself up in a positive way, you need to carry out self-analysis on a daily basis and throw out of your head thoughts of failures, failures, regrets and fears. Having deprived yourself of such negative emotions, a sense of self-control and relief quickly comes.

An evening meditation on positive thinking or relaxing with your eyes closed, during which you need to present pleasant images, will help unload your mind from negative influences. Examples of such images are representations of a calm forest or water surface.

Once your mind has been relieved, it will be much easier to start the next day. Business started will go uphill, and obstacles and negative influences will not be unsettled.

Benefits of positive thinking

A person's thinking can affect the quality of his life in different ways. The development of positive thinking improves many indicators of human life. This type of thinking affects not only personal life, but also other processes and actions.

By changing your thinking to positive, there is a great chance to make your life better. Achieve material success and build relationships with people around you.

Also a big plus is a positive effect on human health. With a good mood, a person perceives difficult situations much easier. Such people are unusually depressed, they have a softer reaction to stressful situations.

Speaking about the advantages of positive thinking, 10 points can be noted that will improve the quality of a person's life.

  1. Health. People who think positively simply have no time to think about various diseases. Everyone knows that self-hypnosis is a huge force that can rule. If a person does not think about the disease or, if he is already sick, is in a positive mood, then the disease quickly recedes. The psychological state has a great influence on the patient's condition.
  2. Immunity. There has been a lot of research into controlling immunity by thinking. Subsequently, people who thought positively had a heightened immune system. And patients with negative thoughts were prone to illness, and their immunity was completely weakened.
  3. Concentration. Positive thoughts allow a person to focus on achieving their goal and not be distracted by groundless troubles. It is easier for such people to work efficiently with less effort.
  4. Self-control. To achieve results as quickly as possible, it is important not to deviate from the task at hand. Positive thinking is an essential factor that helps a person to work smoothly.
  5. The attraction of the positive. As many people say, a person is accompanied by the same emotions and circumstances with which he himself approaches life. With positive thinking, the right things flow into life. Even if a person has no idea about the law of attraction, this does not exempt him from the accompanying failures. But the facts show that positive thoughts allow you to achieve a lot and get quick results, while negative thoughts contribute to unfortunate circumstances.
  6. Broadening your horizons. When a person experiences some kind of malfunction, then in most cases he gets hung up on this and spends a lot of nerves and energy to resolve the situation. Thinking positively helps you see the problem from a different angle. From this point of view, it becomes clear that this problem is not the end of the world and that you need to continue what you started. These failures only build purposefulness and self-confidence.
  7. Improving well-being. Thoughts determine the state of health and help to quickly put yourself in order. It is noted that positive people tolerate diseases more easily without exposing their body to nervous breakdowns. They understand that if they set themselves up for the worst, they will not be able to recover soon. Optimists are attentive to their condition and do not allow diseases to overcome them.
  8. Self-esteem. Positive thinking allows a person to maintain their level of self-esteem. Such people respect the opinions of others, but they also treat such opinions with caution. They respect their own opinions and respect themselves and their loved ones. They want to live with dignity, and they do everything possible for this.
  9. Rejection of bad habits. There is a misconception that positive thinking does not change life, improving its quality, but only makes a person relate to his life better. People with bad habits cannot make their lives better because they spend too much time on these habits. Optimists begin to think about the consequences and begin to rid themselves of the influence of bad habits.
  10. Reduced stress. Stressful situations always unsettle a person. But only an attitude to such situations can radically change the situation. Anyone who thinks positively will identify useful things for himself from the obstacles that have arisen and will work further. A negative person will spend a lot of energy and nerves on the trouble that has arisen and, as a result, will remain in the negative. Positivity increases resistance to stress in various issues.

Positive thinking is a human trait, thanks to which a person turns into a kind of magnet for those around him.

This is easy to explain. After all, such people are always easy to communicate, they give a good mood to others. In addition, people who think positively usually reach great heights in life, they have excellent relationships in the family and at work.

A positive person is, first of all, one who is able to cope with his negative thoughts, turn them into a positive mood, despite the presence of difficulties and life failures. Such individuals are always attractive to society. They charge others with their strength, give a positive attitude.

From the outside it seems that such a lightness in life is a gift. However, each person is able to create himself. One has only to ask oneself the question: how to tune oneself to the positive, and it will be possible to say that the first step on the path to change will be taken.

Optimistic people never complain about their lives, problems for them are a way of self-improvement.

The meaning of positive thinking

Positive thinking is a stage in the development of the thought process, based on the perception of the surrounding world in the most favorable light for oneself.

A positive attitude allows you to experiment, learn new aspects of life, open up opportunities for your own growth.

Due to the fact that they focus only on the positive side of the subject, even in moments of failure, they remain the winner.

A positive attitude allows people to win where, it would seem, there is no way out.

Positive thinking helps people make discoveries. The movement of humanity forward fully depends precisely on individuals with a positive attitude.

How to learn to think positively

Before you start changing your way of thinking, you should first understand which psychological type you are:

  • - individuals are closed on their own self. Their emotional background is even, has no drops. These people will never look for noisy companies. Loneliness is a familiar and favorite environment for them. A positive attitude for such people is an elusive goal.
  • Extroverts are open, loving people. In most cases, this type of personality is characteristic of people who tend to view life's difficulties as a way of self-improvement. Extroverts rarely face the question of how to set themselves up to be positive. Usually these are the people who charge those around them with their love of life.

Features of extroverts

The power of positive thinking is fully revealed in a number of features inherent in extroverts:

  • Interest in exploring new unexplored borders, craving for knowledge;
  • Striving to make your life better;
  • Planning your actions;
  • Ability to work in order to achieve the set goals;
  • Positive or neutral attitude towards others;
  • A careful analysis of the lives of successful people. Taking into account their knowledge and experience in their activities;
  • Equal attitude towards their victories;
  • Reasonable attitude to material values;
  • Emotional generosity within reason.

Conventionally, you can combine the concepts of extrovert and positive thinking, and introvert with negative. However, this classification is very simplistic. It is not necessary to say that a certain type of character has exclusively positive or negative traits.

How to develop positive thinking

How to set yourself up to be positive when there are too many problems and difficulties around, people seem callous, work is boring, and there are constant quarrels in the family?

Positive thinking develops if you repeat positive attitudes to yourself every day and communicate only with optimistic people. It is extremely difficult for a modern person to acquire such an approach to life, since his upbringing, unfortunately, does not allow this.

What is a positive outlook on problems is an open question for most. From early childhood, negative attitudes are imposed on children, which not everyone is able to get rid of in the future.

That is why, in order for the younger generation to have positive thinking, one should speak with children as often as possible, explain to them that they should not be afraid, they should believe in themselves and strive for success.

Methods for the development of positive thinking

Positive thinking can be acquired through a number of practices. Exercises should be performed regularly, at any time in life. Only under this condition can one know what the power of positive thinking is.

  • Liquidation

Hansard's book gives detailed advice on how to set yourself up for a positive. It is recommended to start the exercise early on Thursday morning. According to military rules, this very day is the time to remove all obstacles. The exercise should be done for at least 24 minutes.

The practice algorithm is as follows:

  1. Sit in a comfortable position;
  2. Plunge into the problem mentally;
  3. Imagine that the obstacle from the impact crumbled to dust or burned down;
  4. You should give vent to negative thoughts that are hidden under the trouble. Be sure to continue to think that all the negative that comes out is immediately destroyed by external forces.

After completing the exercise, you just need to sit quietly.
Practice should be done as long as possible. The longer it is, the greater the power of positive thinking will be.

  • Thinking positively instead of negatively

How to tune in to the positive when there is a difficult, unpleasant question? Undoubtedly, before every person, optimist or pessimist, sooner or later an obstacle arises on the path of life that must be overcome. The only difference between people is that some know how to tune themselves to the positive, while others do not.

In order to learn how to overcome obstacles with the help of thought, you first need to understand why the problem arose, how long it lasts. In addition, one should note for oneself the reaction of others to it: do they believe in its successful resolution, how long will the effect last after its solution, what may be the results.

After the truthful results are obtained, you can proceed to the exercise:

  1. Take a comfortable position. Imagine that a fire is burning in front of you, and a magnificent fragrance spreads from it;
  2. Imagine that the causes of the problem, falling into the fire, melt;
  3. Imagine that everything negative that is happening at the present time turns into useful, positive;
  4. As the situation changes, the mental fire changes outwardly: the once orange pillar of fire turns into an unusually blue, blinding one. The new flame passes through the spine, spreads through the body, reaching the head and heart.

After completing this exercise, a positive mood appears almost immediately. All problems are easier to solve.

  • Luck

How to tune in to the positive in order to help your loved ones find work, friends? Before doing the practice, you need to honestly answer yourself to the question: Do I use positive thinking only for the benefit of my loved ones, and not myself?

If you believe with all your heart that your actions are disinterested, then you can start performing the technique:

  1. At the beginning, you need to mentally direct all your positive attitude and energy to the person who needs your help;
  2. At the next stage, you need to clearly imagine how all difficulties are eliminated under the influence of thoughts;
  3. Then send a white energy beam to the heart area of a dear person, which has a positive attitude, thanks to which good luck is attracted. Thus, there is a stimulation of human vital resources.

After the end of the practice, you need to do 7 claps.
The positive attitude exercise should be started on Sunday.

Everything that a person thinks about for a long period will happen sooner or later. It doesn't matter if he wants it to happen or, on the contrary, seeks to avoid it. If the same thoughts are constantly repeated, then they will certainly be realized.

Positive thinking can be developed. Feng Shui supporters advise special exercises for this:

  1. In thoughts and words, use only affirmative words: I have, I win. Completely exclude the use of particles not;
  2. Believe that everything will work out. A positive attitude will help to fulfill even the most unrealistic plans;
  3. Don't give up on change. Most of the people are panicky afraid to change their settled life, well-established way of life, understandable work. Sometimes this desire for a quiet, cozy harbor can develop into uncontrollable phobias. Thinking positively in such cases becomes very difficult. It is categorically impossible to concentrate on your fear of the unknown. It is necessary to paint in bright colors the opportunities that will be open when moving from the zone of personal comfort to new realities;
  4. Start the day with a smile. A positive mood arises from the very morning, if you smile at the first rays of the sun, enjoy the events that are happening around. A person's positive attitude will make the world around him play with bright colors.

The power of positive thinking has been known to Tibetan monks for a long time. Christopher Hansard wrote a book based on the Tibetan teaching of thought processes. The book says that positive thinking makes it possible to change not only the person himself, but also his environment. The individual sometimes does not understand what limitless possibilities are hidden in him.

The shaping of the future occurs through random thoughts. The ancient inhabitants of Tibet tried to develop the power of thought on the basis of spiritual knowledge, they knew what an energetic mental message was. These days, exercises to develop positive thinking are effectively put into practice.

Sometimes one negative thought is enough for a huge number of negative ideas to grow on it like a snowball. If a person wants to acquire positive thinking, then he must start changes from himself.

Hansard believed that the world is thought. One of the first steps towards using its energy resources is to understand the impact of negative attitudes on life. The second step is to eliminate bad ideas. If you don't eliminate them as quickly as possible, you can lose your positive thinking forever.

Negative spheres of being are always disguised as something complex, overly rational. Only positive thinking will help you cope with them. However, in order to master it, you must make an effort.

Negative thinking

Psychologists divide the thinking process into positive and negative. The ability to think is the tool of every individual. Depending on the level at which the person owns him, her life is also built.

Negative thinking is based on individual qualities, experience, and the world around us. It is an indicator of a low level of brain capacity.

People with this kind of thinking tend to accumulate negative emotions with age. At the same time, the person often completely denies all the facts that are unpleasant for her.

When thinking about traumatic situations, a person tries to find all possible options that will help him avoid repeating it. Unfortunately, such thoughts only lead to the fact that the personality completely switches to the negative, without seeing the positive aspects.

Sooner or later, the individual ceases to see his life in bright colors. Before him there are only gray difficult everyday life, which he is no longer able to cope with.

By concentrating all his attention on the negative aspects, a person is constantly looking for the cause and the guilty ones. At the same time, the individual does not notice the possibilities for changing the situation. This happens due to the fact that in every decision he still finds flaws. This often results in a loss of opportunity.
