Cut strips of 25x12.5 cm from large napkins.

We take a napkin, apply a square and cut out 1/4 of the napkin as in the photo. We glue the edges.


We cut off the cone so that the skewer can pass. We pierce and fasten it to the bead from below. We fix everything with hot glue. Repeat with the remaining 2 napkins.

The Christmas tree is ready, it can be planted with the same Christmas trees on the forest edge of foam rubber, or in a decorative bucket.

You can create bright balloons for decoration yourself using a balloon, threads, PVA glue and sparkles. Having learned how to make such balls, you can decorate the place under the tree, the space above the ceiling, and also make beautiful candlesticks.

Loosen the curl slightly inside, because for this work it should not be overly tight. Take another strip and try it along the length of the curl. Cut the strip and glue it to the free end with one side, and the other to the roll itself, so that you get the shape of the loop.

Prepare 5 pieces of such blanks and glue them to each other for the wide part, while there should be some free space in the center. It remains only to hang the finished one on a ribbon and you can decorate the Christmas tree.

In just 10-15 minutes, you can easily make a shiny Christmas tree decoration, you don't even need toys on a Christmas tree made of paper schemes... To do this, take a strip of thick paper, it should be quite wide for the effect to be better. Fold the workpiece into a large accordion to form five corners. To make such a craft, you need to take thin crepe paper, however, ordinary table napkins are also suitable for this needlework. Usually, the production of such a decor takes about half an hour (of course, everything here will depend on the size).

Cut the crepe paper into thin long strips (about 4 cm wide), fold the cut in half lengthwise.

On the right side, bend the end of the strip a couple of times into a triangle, such a blank will act as a rosebud. Now hold the bud with your hand and fold back the strip to fold the triangular petal. Wrap a petal around the bud and bend the next one back, these actions must be performed until the strip ends, the tip must be glued to the rose. Using this method, make a lot of roses and glue them over a foam ball. 1. Cut multi-colored narrow identical strips and make a paper cone.

2. Glue the edges of each strip like a loop.

3. Glue the blanks to the cone starting from the bottom using tape or glue.

From paper strips

To make a simple ball, cut out thin paper strips (at least 18 pieces, more strips, a more beautiful toy) and two small circles. Choose a large bead, insert a thread into it, and thread both ends of the thread into the eye of the needle.

After that, a paper circle and all the prepared strips are strung on a needle by one edge. The next step is to string in order the second edge of each strip, the second circle and one more bead, remove the loop. If you loosen the thread, you get a beautiful ball-shaped toy, you can additionally decorate it.

New Year is unthinkable without the main characters of the holiday - Santa Claus and Snow Maiden. It is quite simple to make them, using colored paper of light blue (blue), red, white, yellow to cut out the elements of New Year's figures yourself.

A circle is cut out of blue paper for the Snow Maiden, and from red paper for Santa Claus. The circles are cut to the middle, rolled up with a cone and glued, getting the bases of the figures. To make a fringe or beard, cut white paper into thin strips, wind each strip on a pen or pencil - it will turn out to be voluminous. New year wreath

A wreath is used in decorations for the New Year holidays, symbolizing wealth, longevity, hope and happiness. The wreath serves as a kind of guardian of the family hearth from various troubles. Traditionally, the decoration is hung over the front door. To make a very simple colored paper wreath, you need more green sheets. The child is necessarily involved in the creative process.

  1. Choose a large plate, circle its outlines on a sheet of colored cardboard (the wreath will turn out to be stronger) - this is the base.

How to make balls:

  1. Attach the saucer to the paper, circle 4 blanks.
  2. In the center of each circle, outline the outline of the coin.
  3. Cut out the paper circles (don't touch the middle yet).
  4. On each circle, draw eight lines with a pencil, before reaching the central circle.

Completing of the work:

  1. Two identical squares are cut out - the size and color are arbitrary.
  2. The workpieces are folded in half twice, two more times diagonally.
  3. They unfold a fragment of the toy - the fold lines are clearly visible.
  4. Each corner is wrapped inward to the fold (like a children's airplane).
  5. The edges of the corners are glued according to the principle of paper bags for volume.
  6. The second fragment of the toy is performed in a similar way.
  7. The workpieces are connected with the inner part to each other crosswise, glued together.

It turns out a volumetric asterisk with pointed rays. A ribbon or string is attached to it and the toy is hung on the Christmas tree. To simplify the work, a loop can be inserted between the fragments of the star before gluing.

If you stretch a silver thread through the products, you can hang garlands of snowflakes in the room. For the manufacture of toys and Christmas decorations, cardboard is often used. Thick paper holds its shape well, allows you to make beautiful volumetric figures, four-sided Christmas trees, cones for making Santa Claus and Snow Maiden are ideally obtained from cardboard.

  1. Circles of the same size are cut out of thick colored paper - 20 pieces, radius 3.5 cm.
  2. Separately, an equilateral triangle template is made so that it is clearly inscribed in a circle.
  3. On the inside of the blanks, a triangle is encircled, its sides will be the place where the circles are bent.
  4. Under the ruler, folds are neatly made on each circle, wrapping the paper on the front side.
  5. Five fragments are taken, the obtained valves of the circles are lubricated with glue, the blanks are connected - the top of the ball.
  6. A hole is made with an awl, a lace is inserted into it, the bottom is made in the same way from 5 other blanks, but without a lace.
  7. Of the ten remaining blanks, the valve strip is glued to the valve, the ring is closed, the top, bottom and middle of the ball are connected.

To make volumetric balls, you can use old postcards or colored cardboard. Toys are decorated with fine decor, sprinkled with sparkles, cut into rain.

Cardboard spruce

A variant of a New Year's decoration or toy is a Christmas tree made of colored cardboard. The most ordinary Christmas tree is drawn on a dense sheet, trying to maintain the symmetry of the spruce paws. On this blank, they make a second part of the same, bend the Christmas tree vertically, glue the blanks and decorate with small circles of colored paper, stars, beads, rhinestones, beads.

In order not to glue the figures, you can make cuts (cut one blank from the top to the middle along the fold line, and the second from the bottom to the center) and insert the parts into each other. Due to the density of the cardboard, the figures will not disintegrate.

How to decorate a Christmas tree with paper decorations

There are several options for placing jewelry - in a pyramid, in a spiral, vertically or horizontally. Each method is interesting, you need to pay attention to the shape, size and color of homemade paper toys.

  • The top of the spruce is decorated with a three-dimensional star of a golden hue - the color of the Earth Dog.

  • In the coming year, the Dogs decorate the spruce with medium-sized figurines of a restrained color scheme. It is especially important to use jewelry made from natural materials - paper, wood, burlap, cones and twigs.

  • A dog figurine can be placed in the central part of the tree to attract good luck and prosperity.

  • Garlands of golden, brown, yellow, green, red, purple, beige colors are used.

You only need materials at hand that can be found in any home, a little patience and creative imagination.

Balloons

The most common and versatile toys for the New Year are Christmas balls. You can make them yourself from any thick paper: colored cardboard, colorful postcards or old magazine covers. Single-colored balls will add a single style to the room, and multi-colored ones - an atmosphere of fun and fabulous magic.

So, before you start making such paper toys, you need to prepare the following:

  • thick paper with a pattern you like;
  • scissors;
  • PVA glue;
  • a compass or any object, outlining which, you can reproduce a circle (jars, lids, glasses, etc.).

1. Draw 21 identical circles on paper and cut them out with scissors.

2. Prepare the mugs as follows:

  • bend the circle twice in half (this is necessary to determine the center);
  • unfold the circle and bend one side of it so that the edge of the circle is exactly in the center;
  • bend two more sides of the circle to make a triangle with equal sides;
  • cut out the resulting triangle, which will play the role of a template for the rest of the details;
  • overlay the triangle over the rest of the circles, trace with a pencil and bend the edges outward along the lines.

3.Glue 10 circles together with two sides so that you get a strip: 5 circles on top, and 5 - below. The strip must be glued into a ring. This will be the base for the balloon.

4. Divide the remaining 10 pieces by 5 pieces and glue them in a circle. We got two "caps".

5. Glue the top and bottom "caps" to the base in sequence.

6. The loop for hanging the ball can be made from a thread threaded through the top of the toy with a needle, or from a beautiful ribbon. A ribbon loop is fixed with a knot and passed through the top of the ball “cap” before gluing it to the base. The knot remains inside the toy, and the loop is outside.

Volumetric snowflake

Another indispensable attribute of the new year is snowflakes. They can be the simplest, cut out of a sheet of paper with an arbitrary pattern, or they can be voluminous using the origami technique. We suggest making your own hands the last version of the New Year's snowflake.

To do this, you need to cut six squares of the same size, fold each one diagonally, and then in half. Parallel incisions are made along the fold. The square unfolds, the inner tongues are rolled up and fastened together.

The outer petals are connected to the same petals of the other squares. You can attach them both with glue and with a regular stapler.

Such a voluminous snowflake can be sprinkled with sparkles, sequins and decorated like the tree itself, a wall, or assemble a whole garland.

Cubes with a photo

Original and memorable toys for the New Year's holiday will be made from paper cubes with photos of family members or events of the past year.

Moreover, such Christmas tree decorations can be made with your own hands every year, pasting an actual photo at the moment.

To form such a cube, you need to cut out six identical circles from paper or squares. The edges of each element are bent so that a square is formed at the base. Then the folded edges are glued between the rest of the pieces into a box. Favorite photos from the past year are glued to the sides of the toy and a loop is inserted.

Magic garland

On the eve of the new year, you can make an original magic lamp from a simple LED garland. To do this, you just need to cut out ordinary paper snowflakes with your own hands.

If you do not have the time and desire to do this, then you can purchase lace paper napkins in the store and use them as snowflakes.

Cardboard Santa Claus

Funny paper Christmas tree decorations are made using a small piece of cardboard, glue and a felt-tip pen. You can make any fairy-tale character for the new year, but the most relevant of them is Santa Claus.

A red cardboard square is rolled up with a tube and fixed with glue. The top of the toy is bent in the shape of a triangle-cap, the bottom is crumpled in a semicircle in the form of legs. A white triangle-beard is glued to the cap, a face is drawn with a black felt-tip pen. All that remains is to fasten the loop.

In a similar way, you can perform a whole New Year's landing of Santa Claus and decorate the whole tree with them.

Although the edibility of salt dough toys is questionable, they look very appetizing, have a long shelf life and are very easy to make.

For salty dough, you will need:

  • 2 cups of flour;
  • 1 glass of salt;
  • about 250 g of cold water.
Mix everything, then roll out the kneaded dough and cut out the figures. You can add a dye right away at the stage of creating a dough, and the toy will be even more interesting, while it does not need to be covered with paint. Then the dough crafts need to be dried: in the open air it will take 2-3 days, and in a cool oven (up to + 50 ° C) with the door ajar - 6-12 hours. Has a friend got a hole in your sock? It doesn't matter, on New Year's Eve the wildest dreams can come true, even if they belong to the sock. There was a sock, but now a snowman!

Pour some rice into the sock, tie it with a ribbon, separating the head of the future snowman from the body, fill the rest with rice, tie it tightly. On the head of a newly-made snowman, you can put on a child's sock and make a hat, sew on beads-eyes, draw a mouth and rouge the cheeks with a pencil, paint or mother's shadows (be careful with this!). We cut out any figures you like from thick cardboard or foam, and wrap with yarn. We decorate with everything that comes to mind: buttons, bugles, beads, bows and so on.

You can take threads of dense texture and create angels or men from them. I had various viscose threads, beads and buttons, seashells from the sea, ribbons. Everything that came to hand was used.
