Test dry cleaning solvent on an inconspicuous corner (ask at a hardware store). If it is not dangerous for the fabric, moisten a cloth with it and blot the remaining wax.

Remove white wax from table linen and clothing in the manner described above with the following modifications.

Pack the thing in a plastic bag and put it in the freezer for half an hour, and then scrape off the frozen wax.

If the thing is washable, soak the remaining stain with a mixture of alcohol and water (1: 2) and wait half an hour. Then rinse and run through the washing machine. Take non-washable items to the dry cleaners.

If the wax is colored , do not use an iron. The heat will only set the dye. Try the following approach.

After freezing and scraping, treat the leftovers with mineral spirits, which is sold in hardware stores. First, check on an inconspicuous corner of the thing whether this solvent will damage it - it happens that the medicine is more dangerous than the disease. If everything is in order, treat them in turn with small soiled areas: moisten the rags and blot the wax. However, some dyes cannot be carried out in this way.

Treat a washable fabric with a permanent color with bleach according to the instructions on its package. And then wash.
