Diet 6 petals detailed menu for every day. Diet “6 petals”: sample menu for every day, reviews and results. What is a “mono-diet”

The 6 petals diet is a weight loss diet designed for 6 days, with daily alternation of protein and carbohydrate foods. An approximate menu for every day and adherence to the principles of the diet will help you lose weight and reduce body size in a short time.

On protein days of the diet, as a result of carbohydrate deficiency, the level of glycogen decreases, which causes the process of fat burning through the use of lipids to provide the body with energy.

Carbohydrates in vegetables, fruits and grains do not cause fat deposition, as they are used to replenish glycogen reserves and maintain the vital functions of the human body.

Basic Rules

To quickly lose weight and reduce body volume, you must strictly follow the basic rules of the 6 petals diet:

  • consume no more than 600 grams. protein food, 1500 gr. vegetables, 300 gr. cereals on the appropriate day;
  • portions of food should be small - about 150 grams. protein products or cereals and up to 500 gr. fruit;
  • limit the amount of salt to a minimum;
  • drink 2.5 liters of water per day.

To make the diet more effective, simple carbohydrates, which can lead to rapid weight gain, are completely excluded from the menu:

  • sugar and products containing sugar;
  • coffee;
  • sweet drinks;
  • white flour products;
  • ketchup;
  • mayonnaise;
  • mustard.

Diet features

The basis of the 6-petal diet consists of fish, vegetable, chicken, cereal, cottage cheese and fruit days, arranged in that order for the purpose of daily alternation of proteins and carbohydrates.

Fish day. Fish is the most valuable source of protein, healthy fats (omega 3) and vitamins (A, E, H, C, PP). Fish also contains iodine, zinc, selenium and calcium. On a diet, you should give preference to low-fat varieties, such as:

  • horse mackerel;
  • pink salmon;
  • herring;
  • tuna;
  • herring;
  • sea bream;
  • trout;
  • carp;
  • salmon.

You are allowed to consume exactly 600 grams of steamed or baked fish.

Vegetable day. The diet involves the use of low-calorie, non-starchy vegetables that do not contribute to weight gain. The high fiber content in vegetables leads to lower cholesterol and blood sugar levels, removes toxins, and nourishes beneficial intestinal microflora.

The menu can include boiled, stewed and baked vegetables, broth, soup or smoothies, fresh vegetables in the form of a salad dressed with olive oil.

It is important to know that the consumption of potatoes on the 6-petal diet is limited due to the large amount of starch in the composition. A small portion of potatoes (up to 100 grams), boiled in their skins or baked, is allowed.

Chicken day. Chicken meat contains protein, phosphorus, magnesium, potassium, and B vitamins. To diversify the diet menu, you can prepare broth, bake chicken with spices, or make cream soup from chicken meat.

Cereal day. At this stage, the diet includes only whole grain cereals (buckwheat, pearl barley, bulgur, oatmeal, brown rice), which contain many valuable nutrients and are complex carbohydrates, as they are slowly absorbed and supply the body with energy for a long time.

In addition to cereals, the consumption of whole grain or rye bread (up to 100 grams) and a glass of kvass are allowed.

Curd day. The diet menu uses cottage cheese with a fat content of 2-3.8% (but not low-fat) in the form of a curd-yogurt mixture with cinnamon or vanilla, yogurt without sugar or additives, and milk.

Cottage cheese gives a long-lasting feeling of fullness due to its high protein content, and is also a useful source of minerals necessary for the body (magnesium, calcium, sodium, iron), vitamins and lactic acid bacteria.

Fruit day completes the 6 petals diet, during which it is recommended to eat small portions of 200-300 grams 5-6 times, while you can eat all types of fruits and berries available in season:

  • apples, pears;
  • oranges, tangerines;
  • grape;
  • bananas – limited;
  • pineapple, pomegranate, grapefruit;
  • cherry, sweet cherry, strawberry.

The nutritional value of fruits, like vegetables, lies in their high level of fiber and the content of various groups of vitamins. It is important to remember that sweet fruits contain a lot of sugar, so you should give preference to more acidic varieties and strictly adhere to the general daily intake of fruits and berries - up to 1.5 kilograms.

The onion is peeled and cut into half rings, and half of the lemon is cut into thin slices. Place baking foil on a baking sheet, and on top there is a “pillow” of onions, pieces of trout with lemon slices, and sprinkle with nutmeg. The foil is then folded over to cover the top of the trout.

The zucchini must be peeled and cut into pieces, shredded cabbage, and cut the pepper into strips. Next, mix the ingredients, add half a glass of water, add salt and cook over medium heat for 20 minutes.

While the stew is stewing, chop the onion, chop the carrots and make a dressing using a teaspoon of vegetable oil. At this time, the tomatoes are blanched, skinned, crushed into puree and added to the pan with the dressing, which is simmered for 5 minutes.

Stuffed pepper

Necessary ingredients: sweet bell pepper - 6-8 pieces, white cabbage - 300 g, 2 carrots, 2 onions, 1 tbsp. a spoonful of tomato paste, vegetable oil, black pepper, basil.

Cut the onion into half rings and sauté in a small amount of oil for 5-7 minutes. Finely chop the cabbage, cut the carrots into strips and simmer together with the onion under the lid, adding 100 ml of water. Add tomato paste, salt and spices to the dish and simmer for 15-20 minutes.

Bell peppers are washed, cored and stuffed with stewed cabbage. Spread baking foil on a baking sheet, lay out the prepared peppers, and then wrap the ends.

The peppers are baked in the oven for 20 minutes. Before serving, sprinkle the dish with green parsley or dill.

Quinoa in a slow cooker

The cereal is thoroughly washed and then left to steep in water for 5-6 hours to remove the bitterness. Then the quinoa is washed again and poured into the multicooker bowl, adding water. Cook the porridge in the “Rice” mode for 25 minutes.

After cooking, add a small amount of salt, turmeric and cumin seeds to the porridge. The dish is sprinkled with herbs.

Thick Greek yogurt

To prepare you need 2 liters of milk, 4 tablespoons of natural yogurt or pharmacy starter.

Pasteurized milk is heated to a temperature of 50 degrees (until steam begins to rise from the milk), and fresh milk - to 90 degrees (until the first foam appears). Then the starter is added to the milk (hot milk must be cooled to 50 degrees), covered with a lid, wrapped in a towel on top and left for 4-5 hours.

After the time has passed, the container with yogurt is carefully placed in the refrigerator for another 2-3 hours. To obtain a thicker consistency, yogurt should be strained through gauze folded in 3 layers for 3 hours.

Greek yogurt is served with cottage cheese or herbs. The shelf life of the dish is 5-6 days.

Quitting the diet

After completing the diet, you should follow some nutritional rules to maintain your weight loss results. Advantages and disadvantages

The 6 Petals Diet is an effective way to lose weight due to the following benefits:

The diet with such a beautiful and even romantic name “6 petals” is perfect for those people who do not want to limit themselves in the amount of food they consume, but at the same time want to achieve quick and noticeable results.

This technique is officially recognized by the Association of Dietitians. According to the results of voluntary trials in which 15 people took part, the six-petal diet had a positive effect not only on the health indicators of those losing weight, but also on their overall well-being. At the same time, most participants in this trial lost weight by 500-800 grams per day.

The essence and main features of the “6 petals” diet

The six-petal diet from nutritionist Anna Johansson from Sweden is based on the concept of separate nutrition, which, according to the author, ensures its fairly high effectiveness. Six petals are a kind of symbol of six mono-diets, which a person losing weight must follow one after another strictly in the sequence recommended by a Swedish nutritionist for six days. That is, each individual mono-diet lasts 24 hours, during which a person should eat only foods identical in biochemical composition, belonging to one of the following groups:

  • fish and some types of seafood (, octopus and);
  • vegetables;
  • chicken;
  • cereals;
  • fruits.

Why the number “6” appears in the name of the diet is understandable, but what do the petals have to do with it? The fact is that the author of the method, in order to maintain the “fighting spirit” of her losing weight followers, came up with the following psychological trick. Before starting the diet, Anna recommends making a flower with six petals with your own hands, on which the name of each mono-diet should be written. It should be placed in a visible place, or alternatively, attached near a wall calendar. By tearing off a petal from a flower every day, those losing weight will be better aware that they “lasted one day” and there is very little left. Thanks to this simple trick, according to the author and according to reviews of people who have already lost weight using this method, the diet is much easier to tolerate.

Key Features of the Six Petal Diet:

  • It is necessary to eat often, but in small portions, so as not to overload the digestive system. However, it is worth noting that the author does not limit the number of meals and portion sizes;
  • It is recommended to consume food slowly, chewing carefully and enjoying every bite;
  • You should drink clean water or tea, it is advisable to give preference. The amount of liquid consumed is not limited, however, it is not recommended to consume it in large volumes during meals so as not to disrupt the digestive process;
  • You need to completely eliminate sugar and sugar-containing products from your diet;
  • consumption of salt, natural spices and seasonings, herbs is allowed;
  • An important role is played by adherence to a strict sequence of mono-diets in the order proposed by the author:
    • 1st day (fish)– only fish and some types of seafood are consumed;
    • Day 2 (vegetable)– the diet contains only vegetables;
    • Day 3 (chicken)– eating exclusively chicken;
    • Day 4 (cereal)– the menu consists only of cereal porridges;
    • Day 5 (curd)– the diet contains only cottage cheese;
    • Day 6 (fruit)– you can eat only fruits, but in any quantity.

Advantages and disadvantages of the “6 petals” diet

The main advantages of the petal diet include::

  1. High efficiency. In six days of following all the recommendations of this technique, you can lose up to 4 - 5 kilograms of excess weight.
  2. Ease of diet tolerance. Most women who lose weight using this method spoke positively about the fact that it is quite easy to follow the regime, and it does not cause psychological dissonance, which is usually inherent in almost any mono-diet.
  3. No constant feeling of hunger, which is a very common concern during most diets.

Important!It is worth adding that leaving the “6 petals” diet does not require any special preparation, however, in the first few days it is advisable not to include fried, smoked and fatty foods in your diet (which, in principle, you can completely refuse), and Do not drink alcoholic or carbonated soft drinks.

It is important to know that the “6 petals” diet is contraindicated:

  • during pregnancy;
  • mothers who are breastfeeding;
  • people suffering from kidney diseases.

The main disadvantages of the petal diet and its effect on the body:

  1. The need for frequent fractional meals with special foods. Dieting takes up a lot of time, which working people usually have problems with. This technique is more designed for unemployed people and those who can freely manage their time.
  2. Increased load on all internal organs and human systems. Any mono-diet is a kind of stress for the body, since nature does not provide that a person can get all the vitamins and other useful microelements he needs from any one product. Unfortunately, this is not possible, and therefore such diets are completely unnatural. Consequently, with the “6 petals” diet, the body, even for a short time, receives some substances in excess, but may not receive other microelements necessary for its functioning at all. Such an imbalance negatively affects the functioning of its organs and systems.
  3. Not every person can withstand the monotony of the menu. If, for example, someone who is losing weight does not like chicken meat, but needs to eat it all day, then the likelihood of a breakdown increases. This diet is built without taking into account individual needs and preferences, which reduces its comfort.
  4. This technique is developed based on the concept of separate nutrition, which supposedly has certain advantages. However, scientists already have many arguments against the fact that separate meals can bring any benefits at all for those who want to lose weight.
  5. The Six-Petal Diet does not solve the main cause of excess fat tissue. As you know, excess weight is mostly the result of the fact that a person consumes more calories than he spends during the day, and, as a rule, such excess intake of calories into the body is regular due to poor eating habits and a person’s sedentary lifestyle. The petal diet helps to get rid of excess weight, but not the reasons for its appearance. As a result, after finishing the diet, the kilograms quickly lost will return just as quickly if you do not change your attitude towards food and physical activity. It turns out that a person losing weight tortures his body for the sake of a short-term effect.

It is worth adding that, according to most experts, you should lose extra pounds using methods that are based on direct control of the calorie intake (for example, a calorie diet). Such diets help eliminate the main cause of excess weight – hypercaloric nutrition.

To top it off, we present the results of randomized clinical trials to which a diet developed based on the principles of separate nutrition was subjected. Overweight patients were divided into two groups. For six weeks they ate the same foods. The only difference in their diet was that one group ate a separate diet, and the second consumed the same amount of calories through a regular balanced diet. As a result of the tests, it turned out that both groups lost an equal amount of extra pounds, a biochemical blood test also did not show any differences, and the patients decreased in waist and hip volumes approximately equally. As a result, the scientists came to the unequivocal conclusion that in the process of losing excess weight, separate meals do not play any special role, since patients in both groups managed to lose excess pounds only by reducing the calorie content of the menu.

The 6 Petal Diet comes from Sweden. The author of the original weight loss method is Anna Johansson, a famous nutritionist. It was she who developed the basic principles of nutrition with which you can get rid of excess weight without harm to your health. This method is also known as the “chamomile diet” or “flower diet”, due to the fact that it is based on a mono-menu designed for six days. Anna Johansson herself depicted the nutrition plan in the form of a beautiful flower, indicating on each of its petals the name of the foods allowed to be consumed on the specified day.

Rules of the 6 petals diet

The essence of the 6 petals diet is extremely simple. It consists of a complex of six one-day mono-diets. Only the foods shown should be consumed each day. The complex results in alternating protein days with carbohydrate days, which leads to an acceleration of metabolism, burning of accumulated fat reserves and weight loss. While following the 6 petals diet, it is recommended to drink still water, at least 1.5 liters, tea (herbal, green, black), decoctions and tinctures of berries, but without added sugar. Water should be drunk in small sips 30 minutes before and an hour after meals. It is not recommended to drink food with water.

The main rule of the 6 petals method for losing weight– do not rearrange the petal days at your own discretion, but follow them exactly as indicated in the nutrition plan.

Rules of the 6 petals diet:

  • 1st day – fish. The menu only allows the consumption of fish (raw, boiled, baked, steamed). Fish is recognized as the most digestible protein. Enriches the body with beneficial Omega-3 acid.
  • Day 2 – vegetable. Vegetables can be consumed raw, stewed, baked, or boiled.
  • Day 3 – chicken. You should only eat chicken, but without the skin. Chicken broth is allowed.
  • Day 4 – cereal. Porridges cooked in water (oatmeal, rice, buckwheat) are consumed.
  • Day 5 – cottage cheese. Low-fat dairy and fermented milk products (cottage cheese, natural yogurt, kefir, fermented baked milk) are allowed on the menu.
  • Day 6 – fruity. You should eat exclusively fruits and berries. You can mix them into a fruit salad. Instead of a snack, you can drink a glass of freshly squeezed fruit juice or fruit drink.

  • Small meals are recommended, approximately 5-6 times a day. You should not eat strictly according to the clock; it is better to eat at the slightest feeling of hunger.
  • The last meal should be no later than 2 hours before bedtime.
  • Portions should be small.
  • During the day you need to drink purified water, herbal infusions, teas (green, black, herbal) without sugar.
  • In order to consolidate the results of losing weight, you need the right way out. You should not immediately consume prohibited foods on the menu, but accustom your body to proper nutrition. The exit should be spread over several days, or better yet, a week. The diet should consist of all permitted foods using the 6 petals weight loss method and periodically alternate the protein menu with the carbohydrate menu.

How long can you go on a diet?

The 6 petals weight loss method helps you get rid of 5-7 kilograms of excess weight. This is an ideal program for emergency weight loss. However, obese people should not get carried away with it. How long can you stay on the 6 petal diet? The dietary method itself is designed for 6 days. Day 7, according to the rules, should be a fasting day - drink exclusively water. To maintain your normal weight, it is recommended to follow the 6 petals method every six months.

If you are completely satisfied with the principle of nutrition of 6 petals, however, the result of losing weight is still not satisfactory, then you can repeat the diet, but not earlier than 2 weeks from the end of the previous one. To consolidate the result, it is worth periodically alternating days of eating exclusively protein and only carbohydrate foods. The maximum effect can be achieved with increased physical activity. How much weight can you lose?

“How much weight can you lose on the 6 petals diet?” - this question interests everyone who dreams of getting rid of excess weight. According to reviews, on the 6 petals diet you can actually lose 0.6-0.9 kg per day. Thus, in a week you can lose 5-7 extra pounds.

Daily use of single-ingredient products in the menu is reminiscent of separate meals. Carbohydrates and proteins do not mix with each other, due to which accumulated fats are broken down. A monotonous diet forces the body to “wait” for the arrival of new products, thereby promoting the use of existing fat reserves. Alternating days of consuming single-ingredient products affects the metabolism, which does not have time to get used to the constantly changing menu, and therefore excludes the energy saving mode.

Usually the diet is easily tolerated and eliminates poor health, feelings of weakness, and hunger. It is recommended to follow the 6 petals diet again no earlier than 2 weeks after the end of the previous weight loss course.

What is better - the 6 petals diet or your favorite one?

Both weight loss methods have their own advantages and features. They are similar in their principles: daily alternation of foods allowed on the menu, as well as a duration of 6 days.

When on the Beloved diet, you should consume exclusively liquids (water, broths, fruit drinks) for 3 days. Water days alternate with vegetable, fruit and protein days. Not everyone can withstand such strict restrictions. Also, fasting drinking days can cause damage to the gastrointestinal tract. In this case, you should consider the daily calorie content of your diet and do not eat food after 18:00. In 6 days you can lose 8-10 kg.

A doctor from Sweden, A. Johansson, devoted most of her life to finding a solution to the problem of excess weight. As a result, she created the 6 petals diet with a menu for every day, which can help almost everyone who wants to bring their figure back to normal. Interesting? Today's article will reveal all the secrets of this technique.

Anna’s technique is based on including only one type of food in the diet throughout the day. In this case, you will have to exclude all sweets in order to force the body to draw energy from its own sources.

The name identifies the chamomile flower with its petals, only painted in different colors, depending on the food chosen.

Here are the basic principles of Petals:

  • This is a mono-diet designed for 6 days, where during each of them you can eat only 1 type of food;

Important: this technique cannot be used for a longer period of time and no more than 2 times a year.

  • Guaranteed daily weight loss from 500 to 800 grams. If you need to get rid of 3 to 5 kg, you will definitely miss them in a week;
  • During these 6 days, it is important not to mix proteins with carbohydrates, that is, eat separately;
  • the amount of food should be limited - no more than 500 g of protein, up to 1.5 kg of plant foods and up to 300 g of grains;
  • It is strictly forbidden to add sugar to dishes; only salt and not too hot spices are allowed. On days of protein nutrition, you can eat not only meat and fish, but also broths based on them;
  • It is allowed to drink liquid in unlimited volumes, but not less than 2 liters of clean water. Up to 4 cups of tea are allowed, and coffee can be drunk without adding cream or sugar.

You can independently develop a menu for day 6 with all dietary requirements met. The dish must be divided into 5 equal portions, which you will need to eat during the day.

A positive effect is achieved by avoiding the exchange of proteins with carbohydrates.

The main advantages of the diet include the following:

  1. There is no need to go hungry.
  2. No need to count calories.
  3. There is no need to adjust to a specific time.
  4. The ability to lose a certain amount of excess weight in a short time, which depends on several factors - lifestyle, physical activity, gender and genetics. The only restriction is that your last meal should be 2 hours before going to bed.
  5. A variety of foods protects against addiction and boredom.
  6. No harm to the body due to a balanced diet.

But not all nutritionists agree with this because of the need to eat only one type of food during the day.

Let’s now look at the disadvantages and contraindications of the technique to see the big picture and choose the right diet:

  • it is not suitable for too busy people due to the need for frequent and small meals;
  • the diet requires sufficient funds, since the products must be of high quality and natural;
  • The diet should not be used by women during pregnancy and breastfeeding, as well as by children and adolescents.

Nutritionists also agree that extra pounds should leave the body slowly. The 6 petals diet leads to a rapid weight loss process. But you should know that fat, even with the most strict diet, is lost in amounts of up to 150 g during the day. And the remaining grams are water, muscles and intestinal contents.

If you follow all the rules, do physical exercise, do not smoke or drink alcohol in excessive quantities, and of course, this technique is not contraindicated for you, it will only benefit you without harm to your health and appearance.

Menu for every day

Having decided to go on the 6 petals chamomile diet, it is important to remember the need to consume only recommended foods, which include vegetables, cottage cheese, cereals, fish, chicken and fruits. Under no circumstances should days be swapped - the main thing is to strictly follow all recommendations.

First day – fish mono-diet

On this day, all varieties and types of fish are allowed, including fatty ones, but not more than half a kilogram. There are any cooking methods except frying. Such nutrition will saturate the body with polyunsaturated fatty acids, which have a beneficial effect on the skin, hair and nails.

Second – vegetable day

On such a day, you are allowed to eat even potatoes, including any other vegetables, stewed and baked, up to 1.5 kg, but without adding oil. Carbohydrates, slowly absorbed by the body, help to lose excess weight, and fiber activates digestive processes.

Third day – chicken mono-diet

You are allowed to eat a maximum of 500 g of chicken meat per day. Breast without skin is especially good for this. Without carbohydrates, your body will draw energy from existing fat reserves.

Fourth – cereal day

On this day, choose any cereal to your taste, except corn, but not more than 200 g in dry form. It is allowed to add wheat sprouts, herbs, bread or seeds to the finished dish.

Fifth day – cottage cheese mono-diet

You can eat up to 0.5 kg of cottage cheese per day with a fat content of no more than 5%. You can drink yogurt and milk up to 1.5% fat on this day. Your body will be filled with proteins and minerals on this day.

Sixth – fruit day

The norm during the day is 1.5 kg and give preference to those that are not too sweet. They can be eaten not only fresh, but also baked in the oven, freshly squeezed juice or light salads.

On the second round of the method (possible 7 days after completion of the first), if such a need arises, you can include other products. However, they remain the same on the designated days. For example, the first fish also includes octopus, shrimp and seaweed. Chicken is allowed to include turkey, veal or beef.

And now some tips for getting the maximum effect from this diet:

  1. Chew your food slowly, enjoying every bite.
  2. Drink water and other liquids some time after eating.
  3. Long breaks between meals are not allowed.

Don’t forget about an important point - consultation with a specialist is required before you start putting this diet into practice, as it also has contraindications:

  • period of pregnancy and lactation;
  • diabetes mellitus (type 1 or 2);
  • CVS ailments, endocrine and gastrointestinal tract;
  • kidney problems and bladder stones.

You should not use this method for losing weight in the postoperative period if your body temperature is elevated and you feel weak.

The moment of leaving the diet is also important to consolidate the results and good health. Firstly, do not immediately jump on fried and fatty foods - in the first days, try to eat a balanced diet, and without overeating.

Secondly, the calorie content of meals should not exceed 2000 Kcal per day if you regularly engage in physical self-improvement, and 1800 Kcal if you are far from the concept of fitness.

And thirdly, take time to visit gyms and take long walks in the fresh air.
