1. Draw a circle with a compass and cut it out. You can use cardboard. Choose the size of the circle depending on the desired size of the figure.

Cut the circle in half, bend into a cone and glue.
3. Cut the white paper into fringed strips. Cut the paper no more than half the width.
4. To make the fringe curly, wind it around the handle bar. Make several of these paper strips of different sizes.
5. Cut out a small oval from paper and draw the face of Santa Claus on it. Glue to the top of the figure. If the quality of the colors permits, paint the face directly on the figurine.
6.With the help of the cut out strips, we will decorate Santa Claus. With the cut part of the strip, glue the bottom of the cone - this will fur coat hem... The second way is to set the volume of Santa Claus's beard at the expense of paper curls. Cut the white paper into strips of slightly different lengths. We glue the strips on the edges of the chin of Santa Claus's face, let the glue dry and then wind each strip on a pencil.
The third way is to create the volume of the beard from the paper cupcake mold.... We do not coat the corrugated edge of the cupcake mold with glue (only the middle) and it sticks up from the applique, creating volume.

The fourth way is to put on a layered applique with hemp interlayers. We cut out the applique elements from thick paper and so that the parts RISE and STEAM OVER the cardboard sheet we use GASKETS. Thick layers between applique details and background. That is, we do not glue the applique onto the background cardboard - we only glue the hemp interlayers, and then we smear only these hemp with glue and put the applique details on them. And it hangs in the air.

You can decorate the very craft of Santa Claus based on the contour in different designs - a smooth beard made of paper, a voluminous beard made of paper twists, from fluffy cotton wool, from white threads cut with scissors, or whatever.

Competitions for the best creative work among pupils and parents have begun in schools and kindergartens. The New Year theme is quite extensive. The minimum amount of effort and time is required to make Santa Claus out of a paper cone. This type of crafts is perfect for a creative activity in a kindergarten or for a pleasant New Year's Eve leisure. Santa Claus can be made from a ready-made printed template or made by yourself.
This will require:
- 1 sheet of white paper;
- 1 sheet of colored paper in red;
- glue;
- stapler;
- scissors;
- a bead or small pom-pom in gold or white.
Progress:
- Draw a circle on a piece of red paper. The desired height of the future figurine should be equal to the radius of the circle.
- Cut a circle out of red paper, fold it in half, fold it into a cone and fix the edges of the shape with glue or a stapler.
- Cut an oval shape with wavy edges from a sheet of white paper. Using the slot in the upper part of the oval, fasten the part to the cone.
- Draw the character's face on the oval, glue the red nose and white mustache. Complement the finished figurine with a bead or pompom at the end of the cone.

Even one candy or a small souvenir hidden inside the box will bring joy and a sense of celebration to the child who finds them.

The main New Year's character made by children for their loved ones will become the most expensive and desired gift. To make similar ones, it is enough to print templates on thick paper.
