The next step-by-step master class will teach your child how to draw a dog with a pencil in just 5 steps.

To complete a portrait of a Spitz you will need:

  • paper;
  • simple pencils: H, B2, B4, B;
  • black pen;
  • pencil sharpener;
  • eraser

Stage 1: draw the head.

With a hard pencil H, draw the ears and hair along the contour of the pet. Focusing on the proportions indicated in the figure, we mark the face. We mark where the eyes, nose and mouth of the Spitz will be.

Stage 2: darken the face.

With a black pen we shade those places that will be the darkest. These are the nose, mouth, areas of the eyes.

Stage 3: detailing the face.

With the softest pencil (B4 is best suited for these purposes), draw the eyes, nose and protruding tongue.

Stage 4: we define the shadow.

Determine on which side the "light source" will be and with the help of a B2 pencil draw that part of the fur on which the shadow will fall.

Stage 5: final

Finish the rest of the wool with soft B. Pay attention to the direction of the villi and the pressure with which the shading was performed. Spitz is ready.
