Job description: Crown crochet

Pattern repeat - 15 loops.

In order to crochet a crown of 6 crochets, you need to knit a chain of 90 loops and close in a circle with a connecting loop.

Next, knit according to the pattern.

Crochet crown pattern.

Tie the crown below with one row of connecting posts.

Starch the crown, put it on a round container and dry it. I put it on a round plastic container.

You can harden the crown with sugar, gelatin or starch. Gelatin may give a yellow tint.

Starch with potato starch:

Dilute 1 tablespoon (with a slide) of starch in a small amount of cold water, then pour 500 ml of boiling water and brew well, stirring well. Dip the crown into the resulting paste, let it soak well, then squeeze out the excess.

ELSA'S CAP FOR CHRISTMAS TREE

The New Year holidays are starting soon and you need to think about outfits for your little princesses. For those girls who love cartoons and princesses, I suggest knitting a hat with a scythe of Princess Elsa - the heroine of the cartoon "Frozen". It is crocheted, the description is given for all sizes of hats, crowns and braids. And if you sew an appropriate dress with a shiny cape and make a crown for this image of a fairy princess, then your beloved daughter will be the most beautiful. While there is still time, we buy the appropriate threads, hook and knit.

Hat Option #1-description from here

The dream of almost any little girl is to turn into a princess in a wonderful dress, magic shoes and a delicate crown... And, of course, it is at the New Year's ball that these dreams should come true! Let's help them transform and create uniquely beautiful crowns for girls with our own hands! This work will not take much time, but it will bring great joy! And how to crochet a crown, we will consider in the article.

Tools and materials necessary for work

To create a wonderful fabulous accessory, you need to prepare:

  • Cotton threads (white, gold, silver) or yarn with lurex.
  • A crochet hook is better if it is a little thinner than necessary. This will give additional rigidity to your product.
  • Starch, hairspray of the strongest fixation (possible with sparkles) or PVA glue - for additional processing.
  • Knitting patterns.
  • Decorative accessories (rhinestones, beads).
  • Glue (for fixing the crown on the hairpin).
  • Clips or headband for hair.

The simplest bell crown

For this accessory, you need to dial 30-35 air loops (their number should be a multiple of five). We close the chain in a ring and knit several rows (4-6) around the single crochets. The knitting of the fabric must be very tight so that the finished product does not wrinkle or collapse.

Our next step will be the creation of the first clove. To do this, you need to tie six columns without crochets and turn the work. The next row will have five pillars. without crochets, which start from the second loop of the previous row. Turn again, knit 4 single crochets - this way we will reduce the loops. When the last loop remains, we knit an air loop and go down the clove, on the side of the clove, with a single crochet. We finish with a half-column. One clove is ready.

In the same way, it is necessary to tie all the other cloves.

At the end of the edges of the teeth, you must definitely tie them with single crochets - this will give a more accurate and complete look to the crown. We also tie the bottom.

Sew beads to the tip of each clove. That's it, you're done!

It remains to fix on the headband or hair band.

Crown for a newborn baby

Photo shoots of their kids have become quite fashionable among modern parents. For such shootings, you can also create a beautiful little thing - a crown. Threads in this case, select soft and delicate, with natural compositions, hypoallergenic. Tight knitting is contraindicated here, since the skin of babies is very vulnerable and a hard accessory will irritate it.

To make a crown according to the crochet pattern, you must first take a measurement from the girth of the head. Such a crown should be worn like a cap or headband.

Small white crown on headband

Let's bring some magic into the daily lives of our favorite princesses! Let's take it and make a wonderful crown for the girl with our own hands - by attaching it to the clip, we will get a wonderful hair ornament!

Materials needed for work:

  • Thin white yarn (possible with the addition of lurex).
  • Hook is the right size.
  • Hair clip.
  • Glue rubber.
  • A little starch or hairspray.

In the first row, you need to dial a chain of sixty air. loops and connect it with a ring.

Second-fourth rows: we knit single crochets.

In the fifth row we knit like this: 4 air. loops, *post. with a crochet, air. loop * - from * to * to the end of the row;

In the sixth row, we knit 2 single crochets under the gaps from air loops.

In the seventh row we will knit ten arches from 6 air. loops, introducing a hook into every sixth column of the bottom row.

In the ninth row, we make 5 air from the middle of the arch No. 1. loops, we knit a column with two crochets - in the center of the arch No. 2, 5 more loops and a column with two crochets - here. Again 5 loops and a half-column in arch No. 3. In this sequence, we go until the end of the row.

You have five cloves.

In the tenth row, it is necessary to tie all the cloves with single crochets, forming peaks at their tips.

Bend the lower edge of the crown.

Then we bend the lower part - so the crown will look prettier.

That's it, we tied the crown. Now either starch it, or generously sprinkle it with hairspray - to give shape.

It remains to fix it on the clip with rubber glue - and a beautiful white crown is ready!

Crown for a snowflake from individual motifs

The snowflake costume for the New Year's carnival is completely ready, but is something missing? Complete your magical character look with a crown-shaped headpiece. According to the crochet pattern attached below, you just need to tie a few motifs.

Such a wonderful addition will not only be a decoration, it will be the highlight of the outfit. After all, no one around will have such a unique little thing! It's easy to make and doesn't take much time.

So, for a crochet crown, you need to create 5-9 elements. Next, they need to be starched to stiffen and stretched on a flat surface. After complete drying, they are glued to the hoop and decorated with sparkles, beads, artificial snow, etc.

This hoop is pre-processed either with a ribbon or pasted over with beads.

Elsa's turquoise crown with a scythe

Prepare about fifty grams of fine turquoise yarn and about 100 grams of white, a few small decorative snowflakes.

The crown should not be very high, it should hold very well on the child's head, holding an additional accessory - a long braid of white yarn. Knitting patterns are attached below.

To work, you need to measure the circumference of the child's head and calculate the loops for the pattern.

To make a braid, cut the white threads into lengths of 2.2 m (when you attach them to the crown, the length will be 1.1 m). Attach these threads along the bottom edge, folding the thread in half and pulling it into a loop. To achieve great splendor, add a little strand a little higher than those already fixed at the bottom. Carefully monitor the mass of threads - if the braid is too heavy, it will pull the crown, and it will slide off the head.

Having attached the required number of threads, twist them slightly towards the middle, fastening them into a ponytail and decorating with a small snowflake. It remains to braid the pigtail - starting looser and making the weaving more dense at the bottom. Fix the tip with a thread and glue the snowflake. Also add snowflakes to the crown itself.

Graceful crowns according to crochet patterns are very easy to knit, and they will bring a huge amount of joy to your little princess!

Thread selection

What crown do you want to get as a result?

Hard and standing or vice versa soft and then you will starch it or process it with gelatin, PVA glue for durability?

When knitting from Diva, the crown will turn out to be quite plump, the hook is recommended 1 or 1.5, consider your knitting style.

For acrylic with lurex, take the same number, but the crown will be more rigid.

When knitting from cotton threads with lurex, the crown turned out to be very non-standing, also with sliding threads. The denim crown turned out to be quite dense, but not at all elegant, so it will have to be additionally decorated.

Hook selection

The most important rule is to understand what your crown should be? If it is loose and openwork, and the threads are very thin, then we take the hook according to the threads, they indicate the size of the hook.

When you knit freely, then we take the hook 0.5 numbers less than recommended, and if it is tight, then more.

To stiffen the base, if you plan to attach it to a headband or hairpin without a bottom, use a fishing line or thin wire laying it inside the knitting or taking it parallel with the thread.

What do you need to know how to knit, what loops?

The simplest crown

Here we will show 2 models at once and tell the principle of knitting.

For beginners

For each crown, you need to make a calculation, and understand what size you want to get it.

The size of the crown depends on the number of peaks, so if you need a crown with a diameter of 35 mm = 3.5 cm, then tie 2 peaks for the calculation, so you will determine how many cm there are per 1 peak.

It remains to divide the desired number of centimeters by 1 peak in cm = number of peaks /

Total cm / cm in 1 peak = number of peaks

Why so many?

In the diagram, you can see how your crown will approximately look in expanded form, 2 peaks, because. maybe somewhere you tied a little tighter, so we get the average knitting density, and you can immediately determine the height of your crown.

And you can not knit a sample?

Yes, you can, but then you need to take as a basis a diagram and a description with a similar density and quality of threads.

Scheme and photo of the crown

Step by step description master class

A simple crown is ready!

Want to make it taller?

To do this, knit 1 row of RLS or several.

You can crochet a crown according to this pattern, see photo, height = 3 cm rows RLS - 5.

Then you need to do this in the 2nd row:

Lifting VP, we knit all the loops with columns of RLS or with a crochet (CCH), we connect the PS.

A useful video will help you understand how to crochet a crown:

classical

Look at the photo and knitting pattern - this is perhaps a more complex crown, but it looks more like a royal one with a narrow base and an extension at the peaks.

  1. The calculation is similar, 6 loops are needed for peaks. We collect 42 VP, we connect the PS into the ring (half-column).
  2. 2 VP lifting. We knit a row with double crochets and connect the PS.
  3. At the beginning of the row we do 2ch. We knit RLS for a row.
  4. Then we knit a row of peaks in the same way as in the crown above.
  5. Peaks

  6. 3 lifting VP, we knit all the loops with double crochets (CCH), we connect the PS.
  7. 3 VP in the 3rd loop, bases we knit 3 columns with two crochets (CCH), pico (connect 3 VPs into the first loop of the VP CST (connecting column)), repeat 3 CCHs, connect RLS with 3 loops of the base from fastening.
  8. Connect the last loop and 3 VP, tying them with a connecting column into the 2nd loop.

Classic with high teeth

  1. The calculation is similar, 6 loops are needed for peaks. We collect 42 VP, we connect the PS into the ring (half-column). We knit a row with single crochets. We repeat as many times as we want the height of the crown. There are 6 rows in the photo, crown height = 4.5 cm.
  2. Next, we knit a series of peaks like this:

  3. 7 sc.
  4. turn around and knit 6 sc (we knit the first loop 2 together).
  5. turn around and knit 5 sc (we knit the first loop 2 together)
  6. turn around and knit 4 sc (we knit the first loop 2 together)
  7. turn around and knit 2 sc (we knit the first loop 2 together)
  8. turn around and knit 1 sc (knit the first loop 2 together)
  9. We go down the left side with the help of single crochets - this is 8 sc. We knit 1СБН for the base - this is our break between the peaks. We repeat this knitting as many times as we have peaks.
  10. We knit the last loop for the base and cut it off, leaving the tail, and stretch the thread so that a knot is tied. We hide the thread with a needle in knitting.

A detailed video on crochet crown for beginners:

aerial

The crown is obtained 3 cm high from a diva and acrylic with lurex.

Determine the number of peaks per desired crown diameter. According to the scheme 1 peak \u003d 6 loops, for 7 peaks \u003d 42 loops, you can add 6 loops between the peaks for fastening.

Scheme aerial or complex

  1. We collect 42 air loops or a multiple of 6.
  2. We close the resulting pigtail from the VP (air loops) into the ring. We impose on each other the last and first loop from the hook and stretch the loop (it turns out a half-column).
  3. 3ch, work sc in each base st.
  4. 4VP, we collect as for a column with 2 crochets, skip 1 loop, bases and knit CCH, in front of this column another CCH, then we knit the remaining crochets on the hook 2 loops to the end, 1VP, 1CCH we knit by pushing the hook through 2 legs into the protruding loop look at the diagram. Repeat until the end of the row.
  5. Peaks

  6. 3 lifting VP, we knit all the loops with columns with 2 crochets (SS2N), we connect the PS.
  7. 3 VP in 3 loop, bases knit 3 columns with two crochets (SS2N), pico (connect 3 VPs into the first loop of the VP CST (connecting column)), repeat 3 CCHs, connect RLS with 3 loops of the base from fastening.
  8. We repeat this 7 times, as many as you have peaks.
  9. Connect the last loop and 3 VP, tying them with a connecting column into the 2nd loop. We knit the last loop for the base and cut it off, leaving the tail, and stretch the thread so that a knot is tied. We hide the thread with a needle in knitting.

Crown on a clip

Detailed video on knitting and making a crown on a hair clip:

Based on these knitting skills, you can make any crown or knit, for example, the beloved Elsa-style crown.

Crown for a girl on a headband

We attach a ready-made crocheted crown from the above described to the rim.

For this we need:

  • crown with a bottom - 2 parts;
  • bezel;
  • glue gun, or thread.

If there is no rim of the desired color, tie it with the same threads as the crown. You need to knit in a circle with single crochets, just glue the ends at the edges with a hot gun and hide the thread inside the knitting.

We sew the bottom on the finished crown, and we will glue the second bottom on the outside or make 2 holes in the bottom for threading the hoop.

Glue the crown with the bottom to the top of the hoop.

Then glue the 2nd bottom from the inside. And sew along the contour to the crown.

Video tutorial on gluing crowns to the rim:

Those who want to give airiness to the structure, it is enough to glue only part of the base on the rim, then before knitting, it is necessary to use a wire or a hard fishing line.

Flat crown on headband

To make a crown on a flat headband, we need:

  • crown 2 parts or 1 if it is made of thick threads;
  • a thin bezel to match the crown;
  • glue gun.

We knit a flat crown of 2 parts, i.e. not in a circle, but only with a turn. Then glue it with a glue gun to the hoop and decorate.

Video on making a crown on a rim step-by-step master class:

How to decorate the crown?

Snowflake buttons, sewn-on glitter paper snowflakes, rhinestones and sequins are just a few of the inspirations.

Look at the photo shows 2 options for sewn snowflakes.

These were the smallest in the store, but if you are the owner of a figured hole punch, they are sold in the same stores, then you can easily make even smaller ones.

In the assortment there are many rhinestones, glue and sewn, half beads. They can immediately be glued or sewn onto the crown, into the desired holes.

How to make a universal crown suitable for any head size?

It is quite difficult to guess and make with the help of threads so that the crown adjusts to any head size. Bandage after half a year or a year will have. To avoid this, we offer 2 simple solutions.
  1. Sew an elastic band to the edges of knitting, and then tie it, as in the version with a hoop.
  2. Insert an elastic band for hair, picking it up to match the knitting so that it looks like an addition.
  3. Tie the entire crown with an elastic band. In needlework stores, elastic bands of any width are sold and tie a crown on them, so it will increase and decrease to the desired head size. But in this case, it is better to knit a tiara, and not a full-fledged crown.

The crown is ready, enjoy the result.

Having been a little creative, I produced such an ornament. I used a large skein of cotton thread for knitting, hook No. 2.5 and "golden" beads for the Christmas tree.

Gained 170 loops, taking into account the lifting and docking loops. In the first row, the first with a crochet knitted into the 7th loop from. The crown is not knitted in the round.
The finished fabric is sewn with an inconspicuous seam.
Then she diluted the gelatin in hot water, cooled a little. I soaked the crown in gelatin, squeezed it out a little and pulled it over the frame. Moreover, if you need a crown for a boy, it is better to use a glass jar, then it turns out to be of a different shape. And I came up with the idea of pulling on an empty pots. I smeared it a couple more times with a brush and left it to dry. Decorated with beads the next evening.

Job description: Crown crochet

Pattern repeat - 15 loops.

In order to get 6 vertices, you need to tie a chain of 90 loops and close in a circle with a connecting loop.
Next, knit according to the pattern.

Crochet crown pattern.

Tie the crown below with one row of connecting posts.

Starch the crown, put it on a round container and dry it. I put it on a round glass jar.

You can harden the crown with sugar, gelatin or starch. Gelatin may give a yellow tint.

I starched with potato starch: dilute 1 tablespoon (with a slide) of starch in a small amount of cold water, then pour 500 ml of boiling water and brew well, stirring well. Dip the crown into the resulting paste, let it soak well, then squeeze out the excess.

step

There are three types of starching products:
1. soft - 0.5-1 tsp per 1 liter of water (suitable for bed linen)
2. semi-rigid - 1 tbsp. per 1 liter of water (for collars of men's shirts)
3. hard - 2 tbsp. per 1 liter of water

2 step

Prepare the solution as follows:
Put starch in a glass or enamel bowl, add a little cold water and knead well to a state of thick sour cream, and then, stirring constantly, add boiling water until the desired consistency is obtained.
For starching, it is better to use a warm solution. Lower the finished product into the solution, gently squeeze out the excess solution.

3 step

If you need to starch a napkin knitted from cotton threads, then a semi-rigid type of starching is enough.
If it is necessary to starch a Christmas angel skirt or a knitted vase, then use hard starching.
ATTENTION! After the excess solution is squeezed out, the knitted product must be given the desired shape and left to dry completely.
So, lay out the napkin and straighten it on a horizontal surface, pull the knitted vase over glass, plastic or other dishes of a similar shape. The skirt for the angel also needs to be pulled over a cone (truncated cone) after treatment with a starch solution.

Christmas snowflake costume

If you have a daughter in your family, then she, at least once, was or will be a Snowflake at the New Year's party. Today, for those who know how to crochet, I want to show how you can make a New Year's Snowflake costume with your own hands. You most likely have an elegant dress. Now we will make accessories: a crown and a snowflake magic wand.

We will need: 1.5 hook, snow-white acrylic knitting threads, hair hoop, wooden stick and glitter glue for decoration.

Now we crochet 5 snowflakes for the crown and 1 snowflake for the magic wand.

There are a lot of knitting patterns for snowflakes on the Internet, you can choose any you like. The main thing is that one snowflake is large, two medium and 2 small.

Here, according to this scheme, I knitted the central large snowflake:

The scheme is not complicated. I photographed the process of knitting a snowflake:

After all the snowflakes are ready, they need to be lightly smoothed and coolly starched. Wait for it to dry completely (can be laid out on a white cardboard on a battery).

These are the snowflakes I got for the crown:

We apply snowflakes to the hoop, wondering how they will be located.

We sew snowflakes to the hoop and to each other.

We clasp the hoop with the lower ray of the central snowflake and sew the tip to the snowflake from the inside. Now she "sits" firmly.

We bring beauty with glitter glue and again put it on the battery to dry (snowflakes from moisture can become limp and sag a little, but this is fixable).

The Snowflake crown is ready:

To complement the Snowflake costume, let's make a Magic Wand.

We take a wooden stick for sushi, glue the tip of a white thread to it and wrap it tightly, ring to ring, the whole stick to the end. We wind the last turns on the glue, cut off the end of the thread.

We glue the snowflake connected in advance with superglue.

Do-it-yourself magic wand is ready:

This is how the Snowflake's New Year's costume turned out:

Let your little ones be the most beautiful on the New Year's holiday!

Crown 8

Crown 9 (Kokoshnik on a metal frame)

Materials: cotton yarn with metallic (50g) - 2 skeins (it took one and a half); star yarn (silver, 50g) - 1 skein (very little, only for tying); silver beads 2 sizes; sewn-on rhinestones; elastic; satin tape.

The husband made a frame from wire, crocheted it.

I tied the mesh along the frame.

Separately, I tied the floral elements and attached them to the grid. (You can do it according to the principle of Irish lace, or you can put it on the net and just tie the edges, grabbing the net. In my opinion, the hassle is what is there, what is there is the same, so do what is more convenient for you). If you simply sew the elements onto the mesh, it is better to immediately tie them with an asterisk, it creates a frost effect, if you attach it with a strap, then you don’t need it. An asterisk by an asterisk in the second row - it turns out too thick. All thought is lost.

Ochelie (or forehead). I crocheted from the inner edge and knitted several rows, each time not reaching the end. Then she picked up the loops from the rear side, there she didn’t decrease any more. Tie the second part, put a strip of fleece folded 2-3 times between them (so that the rim does not press and the kokoshnik sits better on the head).

Decorate with beads, rhinestones and whatever else you want. Let your imagination work.

I sewed an elastic band and satin ribbons on the back. Ribbons tied in a bow will cover the elastic. You can do it without a rubber band, but it holds better with it. Tapes can slip on the head.

Can be starched. That's all.
