Herringbone

You can decorate the New Year's table with a herringbone-shaped napkin. To do this, follow these steps:

Fold the canvas in half 2 times.
Fold each of its layers upwards so that there is a gap of about 2 cm between them.
Turn the workpiece over.
Fold the corners towards the middle so that the triangle comes out.
Press it down with your hand and flatten it to hold its shape better.
Rotate the triangle to face you.
Fold up each layer and bring the edges under the previous one.

Place the herringbone on a plate and decorate with a snowflake or bow.

Small fish

An origami fish will look unusual on the table. To fold it, take a regular square napkin, then:

Fold it along both diagonals, unfold it, take the edges of both parts exactly in the middle and along the formed lines bring them together so that you get a triangle.
Fold both parts alternately along the transverse axis and return them back.
Bring the right edge to this line and return it back. Do the same with the opposite part.
Bring the right corner to the left diagonal.
Cover it with the left edge of the triangle.
Turn the other side of the triangle toward you.

Aster

Here is another option for decorating the table with napkins. This time, for its decoration, you can make a beautiful aster flower, for which:

Place a square of paper or cloth on a table and fold the bottom half in half.
Fold the top in half.
Flip the rectangle face down and fold the top half towards you.
Fold the bottom half in half.
Expand them.
Take the rectangle at the very bottom edge and fold it to the nearest horizontal line.
Bend the entire workpiece "accordion".
Take it by the upper left edge and tuck it into the ribs of the folds one by one, so that you get triangles.

It's time to surround our flower with greenery: the second napkin also folds into a triangle, then bends vertically in the middle: let the edges then diverge slightly. The first triangle should not make another smaller one. We need something like a birdie. Now we hide our bud in greenery, covering it between the "wings", placing it under the top layer (at the bend of the base of the triangle). Lift up our rose - she must wear a green "skirt". We insert it into the glass, hiding the sharp edges of the green napkin.

Method four: royal lily

Unfold the napkin.
Lay it face down.
Fold the 4 corners towards the center.
Turn over.
Fold the 4 corners back towards the center.
Holding the upper corners with your finger, carefully pull out the lower ones so that the petals form.

Method five: hat with a lapel

This figure will turn out to be more beautiful from a large napkin, if you took a colored package, then before folding the napkins in this way, you will have to unfold them with the wrong side inward.

The whites can be taken out of the package without unwrapping. Place the "seam" on the left.
Fold the lower left corner up, not reaching the top by 2-3 cm.
Take the shape in front of you in the palm of your hand, base down (triangle within triangle). Fold the left and right corners around your fingers and secure them together by threading one into the other.

Cloth napkins: flawless throughout

Fold in half from top to bottom.
Do the same on the bottom side.

Method three: table fan
