Do-it-yourself paper umbrellas turntables. How to make an umbrella out of paper with your own hands step by step. Hang an air garland over the bed

We always want our little ones to feel comfortable in their room, even in rainy autumn weather. Therefore, we try to decorate their comfortable corner as interesting as possible. Today we will do it together rainbow and paper umbrella. Step-by-step descriptions with photos will be clear even to children.

paper rainbow

To make a paper rainbow, we need:

  • colored paper;
  • Scissors;
  • Needle;
  • Glue;
  • 3 beads;
  • Sintepon or cotton wool.

For such a product, it is not important to use double-sided paper. The colors of the sheets should be the same as that of the rainbow: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, violet.

First we need to prepare colored paper. We need sheets of rainbow colors. Cut them out into strips. There will be 7 of them. The width of each strip should be 3 cm, and their length will be different. Each new strip will be shorter than the previous one by 1.5 cm.
Photo 1

Now we need to divide each strip in half and draw a thin, barely visible line with a simple pencil.
Photo 2

Now we stack all the stripes on top of each other in the correct order - "Every Hunter Wants to Know Where the Pheasant Sits". We fold so that the traced lines lie on top of each other.
Photo 3

With a needle we pierce the strips in the center of the drawn line.
Photo 4

We take out the needle. Turn the strips over if the paper is one-sided. We put them on top of each other, connecting the ends.
Photo 5

If the paper is double-sided, then you do not need to turn it over.
We sew the edge. You can use a stapler.
Photo 6

Now we need to glue the second ends of the strips together.
Photo 7, 8

Or you can also use a stapler.
We have received the rainbow.
Photo 9

Now let's add a cloud and rain to it. We thread the white thread into the needle and pull it through the holes in the center of each strip.
The thread must be long enough. Because the product will be hung on it. We make a loop at the top.
We put a bead on this thread from below and fasten it.
Photo 10, 11

Next, let's make it rain. Cut out droplets from blue paper.
Photo 12

Spread a drop of glue and glue to the thread.
Photo 13

Glue the second drop on top. Next, make 2 more drops on the sides. To do this, take a new thread and pull it through the shortest strip and insert a bead. We fix it and glue the drop, slightly receding the place on the thread. And repeat on the other side.
Photo 14

We cut off the excess thread under the droplet.
Now we need some synthetic winterizer or cotton wool. Break off small pieces. We will make clouds.
Lubricate the tip of the rainbow with glue on both sides and glue the synthetic winterizer.
We do the same on the other side.

A beautiful and bright voluminous paper umbrella can be used as a room decor, as well as an interesting craft that all children will love. And most importantly, it is absolutely not difficult to make such a multi-colored one.

You will need materials:

  • Colored paper of various colors;
  • cocktail tube;
  • Double sided tape;
  • A simple pencil, compasses, scissors, glue stick.

If you need a small umbrella, you can save on colored paper by using its multi-colored remnants.

How to make a voluminous paper umbrella?

To work, you need circles of colored paper. I have 20 circles, but 15 may well be enough, especially with small umbrella sizes. For a large umbrella, you can cut out all 20, so it will appear in its maximum beauty.

Fold the circle in half exactly.

Then again to make a quarter circle.

Turn all multi-colored paper circles into such quarters.

So that in the future the parts do not open, you need to fix them a little with glue. Open the quarter and go over the top with a little glue. You don't need to use the whole half.

Glue the sides. Now they will be fastened only in the upper part, without preventing the lower one from opening properly.

Glue all quarters.

Next, they need to be glued together, but not anyhow, but in a certain way. Lay two quarters with the split side down as shown in the photo. It is in this position that they need to be glued - a forked side to a forked one, a right angle to a right angle.

Glue must also be applied between these two quarters.

But here also you should not completely fasten the entire side. Only the upper part is enough for the lower part to open. In the photo, the quarter is divided into two parts, but this division is arbitrary, so that it is clear where to apply the glue. As you can see, only the upper part of the quarter is involved.

Glue the two pieces.

And behind them, and all the rest. You can put them in a pile and press well so that the glue is properly fixed.

After that, close the circle by gluing the side of the first and last quarter. Prepare a cocktail tube. Bend its edge in the accordion area, try it on your umbrella and, if necessary, shorten the tube.

Glue double-sided tape to the straw, remove the film and quickly place it in the hole in the umbrella. Replace adhesive tape can glue gun, glue moment. PVA and a pencil with plastic interact poorly. There is a risk that the cocktail tube will not stick at all.

This is how a voluminous paper umbrella turned out. Very bright and positive.

1. Decorate an empty wall

To give the room a complete look, it is not necessary to hang bulky photo frames and other weighty objects on the wall. Bright paper flowers from fan turntables will become a stylish accent of an interior or bedroom. You can choose the colors of the fans for any color of the walls, but the composition will look best on a light background.

2. Decorate a children's party

Paper fans will be good as a decorating element for any holiday. These colorful circles delight all the kids and guests. Do not leave your child out of the holiday preparations and decorate the room for the holiday with him. I am sure that children will love making such turntables with their own hands.

3. Hang an air garland over the bed

Very successfully paper garlands are combined with window openings. You can place several fans on one tape, or do it as shown in the photo. I really liked this decor option, I’m even thinking of decorating windows in this way for the New Year, just add a few strokes to the blank with scissors and the paper flower turns into a wonderful snowflake.

4. Use as wedding decor

Paper fans are the perfect décor option for an outdoor wedding. A wedding arch made of such paper flowers will be the highlight of your celebration and will certainly be remembered by all guests. A composition of fan turntables on the wall will solve the problem of decorating a photo zone, and you can also decorate a restaurant with paper fans, using them not only as wall decor, but also as hanging garlands.

5. Make a beautiful backdrop for a photo shoot

Well, on top of the list, you can make a very stylish panel or background for a photo shoot from fan turntables. Be sure to complement the composition with bright pompoms and flags - this will help emphasize your image.

How to make fan turntables with your own hands

Creating fan turntables is not at all difficult. In return, you will get a lot of pleasure, both from the manufacturing process itself and from the result.

Materials:

  • multi-colored paper for scrapbooking 30x30 cm;
  • stapler, glue or double-sided tape;
  • scissors or a figured hole punch, if you want to apply a pattern;
  • optional: canvas made of cardboard or foam.

Let's get to work:

1. Fold a sheet of paper lengthwise in a zigzag pattern, leaving 2.5 cm between the folds.

2. Next, take the resulting accordion and fold it in half, as shown in the photo. Then fasten the inner edges on the wrong side with a stapler. Alternatively, you can cut the blank in the middle and glue the quarters with glue.

3. Follow the same steps with two or three more sheets of paper and connect all the blanks together in a circle. To make the fan even more beautiful, the ends of the folded accordion can be rounded off or cut off with curly scissors, and with the help of a hole punch, an ornament can be applied to the turntable.

When it rains, only a raincoat or umbrella can save you. If you look closely at the umbrella, you can see that it is very similar to a mushroom - it has a cap and a thin leg. Of course, umbrellas have a wide variety of shades and colors, as well as the shape of a dome and a handle. This explains the fact that everyone can find what he likes.
But to decorate your autumn postcard or as a craft, you can make such a wonderful paper umbrella. It consists of two parts - a dome and a handle.

  • Umbrella paper sheet 8 x 8 cm
  • Pen paper 3 x 8 cm

Step by step photo lesson:

We take a square sheet of paper for folding an umbrella. We bend diagonally first.

We bend in the middle the two upper corners to the offset of the sides.

Then fold up the bottom side to offset the edges.

Fold in half along the vertical midline.

Then we open.

We take the lower left corner and bend it so that the fold line comes out of the left side corner.

We repeat the same steps only with the lower right corner.

Then fold up the bottom corner.

We bend the side corners to the middle line, as when creating the “kite” shape.

Then we open it. With this step, we have indicated the edges of the umbrella.

Turn over and get the top of the umbrella.

Take paper from 3 x 8 cm and start making an umbrella handle. Roll up a narrow strip of paper.

Press the bottom edge. We wrap it in an arc and get the finished umbrella handle.

We glue it to the top and get a ready-made umbrella made of colored paper using the origami technique.

How to make an umbrella out of paper with your own hands

1) The main part of the craft will be made of colored paper. We use any color. We draw seven or eight circles or use a stencil with holes of different diameters. We cut along the contour of each part of the future umbrella.

2) First, fold the cut circle in half. Then fold in half again to get the finished part.

3) Do this with each circle to get the right details for the main part of the umbrella.

4) We glue each part in one place with a drop of glue.

5) We begin to connect the parts to each other.

6) We fill in all the spaces to get the bulk of the umbrella.

7) We make a pen and a cane for the object. To do this, take a wooden skewer. We shorten it a little in length. We wrap it with teip tape, which will harmonize well with the main part of the umbrella.

8) We pass the central part of the umbrella with the sharp end and leave a small part at the top. Bend the bottom to create a handle. We wrap it in this place with green floral tape.
