Besides, it no longer needs to be worn on your finger, just have it in your inventory.

Lunar transformations
Skyrim offers scenic views of the night sky and special features such as moon phases. Sadly, they were never fully utilized in the original game.In the Story of Moonlight, your life as a werewolf or verber is deeply tied to the stages of the moon. The virus itself is indicated by a subtle glow around the attacked character. Any of the diseases takes from three days to full development, after which the NPC becomes a werewolf and is able to spread the virus. Of course, these rules apply to your character as well. An alternative method to become a werewolf and verber is to use blood potions on some werewolf corpses. Please note that important and guarded NPCs are immune to this disease. If you have a werewolf or verber blood potion in your inventory, there will be a dialogue option in which you can ask your companion to drink it. Likewise, if you want to heal your companions, you must obtain the Heart of a Werewolf, travel together to the Glenmoril Coven and ask him to eat the heart there. You can also adjust the transformation time of your companions through a simple dialogue.

Meetings with werewolves
Currently, you can find wild werewolves, as well as verbers in the vastness of Skyrim and Solstheim. If you have their blood in your veins, they will not be hostile to you. Likewise, if you want to cure him, you must get a heart and ask your interlocutor to eat it while in the coven.
The other dialog options you get will be based on the transformation's behavior.
You can ask a companion:

1. Transform every time with you.
2. Transform during the battle.
3. Don't transform now.

In case you want to change the skin of your partner, select "reset skin settings" in the dialogue option, which will change the appearance of the werewolf to the currently used player.

- Developments.

Hircine's Ring

If we talk about the Ring of Hircine itself, then its purpose has also been changed. In the game, one of the werewolves was looking for this ring to control their transformations, but for some unknown reason, instead of controlling the transformations, the ring only gives an additional chance to transform into a werewolf. In Tale of Moonlight, once you get the ring, you can control the beast within you by activating the transformation settings in the MCM menu. Moreover, if the player has already recovered from lycanthropy, then he still gets the opportunity to turn into a werewolf. And also, the ring no longer needs to be equipped to get its capabilities, it is enough to have it with you.

Lunar transformations

In Skyrim, you can often observe beautiful night landscapes, which, unfortunately, were not used in any way in the game, even if the player was a werewolf. In "The Moonlight Tale" the life of the werewolf and the verber will be associated with the phases of the moon. If the player has the "Ring of Hircine", then it is possible to control sudden transformations and customize them through the MCM menu. Those who use the "Tales of Lycantrophy" plugin will surely recognize the moon phase screen notifications. Contagion with the blood of the beast

From now on, a werewolf can infect another NPC with lycanthropy, as well as a player. When attacking an NPC or a player, there is a chance that they will be infected with the "Festering Lupinus" (werewolf virus) or "Festering Ursius" (verberian) diseases. In case of infection, there is a slight glow around the infected person. The infected has three days, after which he becomes a werewolf, capable of transmitting the virus to another NPC or player. An alternative method of turning into a werewolf is the corresponding potion, which can be found on the bodies of werewolves or verbers. Please note that protected NPCs are immune to werewolf or verber viruses and cannot be infected! The author strongly advises for greater immersion in the game, first get infected, and then wait for the first treatment, and also turn on lunar transformations and werewolf hunters.

Lycanthropy treatment

The blood of the beast is a gift, but there may come a moment when you want to be healed. The medicine can be obtained by taking the werewolf / verber heart from the bodies of the beast-shaped NPC / wild werewolves. After that, the player must travel to the last surviving altar of Hircine in the Glenmoril Coven and perform the ritual. Remember that your beastly essence will not want to give up just like that, so make a save beforehand! Another way to cure it is to use the corresponding option in the MCM settings menu.

Werewolf companions

Despite the fact that most of the werewolf clans were destroyed, the player can create their own by turning their companions into werewolves. If you have werewolf blood or verberian blood in your inventory, a line will appear in the dialogue with the companion. The cure is similar. You must have a werewolf heart, and then make a trip to the Glenmoril coven and there ask your companion to eat the werewolf's heart. Other lines of dialogue allow you to specify when the companion should turn into a werewolf. The following options are available:
