The specialists of the French House of Dior once again (and not superfluous) remind us that beauty begins with cleansing and moisturizing the skin. That's why in the new Hydra Life range you'll find four double-textured make-up removers, three radiance and firming masks in just 3 minutes, and two super-powerful mallow and haberlea products.

When creating the line, the brand's experts were guided by the needs of the generation of millennials, who do not take their eyes off numerous electronic devices, are always running somewhere and are concerned about environmental issues.

The collection opens with a duo of products: Sorbet Essence serum and cream with extracts of mallow and haberlea leaves Sorber Creme.

Three masks with pleasant textures complement the Dior Hydra Life daily care ritual. Just three minutes - and the effect on the face. Glow Better mask with citrus extract and apricot kernel microparticles gently exfoliates dead skin cells, giving the skin a radiance. Pores Away mattifying mask with pink clay and jojoba extract evens out its texture, and Extra Plump is a real energy cocktail with white pine oil and active ingredients of natural origin, gives the skin elasticity and volume.

The development of a new range of skin care was preceded by numerous studies, the main object of which was a single living organism - the skin. In the Dior laboratory, the ability of the flower to store, filter and transport water was studied for a long time, which was then used in Hydra Life. - Can even the ability of a flower to transport water inside itself be somehow useful in cosmetology?

- Certainly! The fact is that in human cells, the process of fluid exchange also constantly takes place. It is necessary for cells to successfully carry out their work. Those that are currently more loaded with work need large volumes, and therefore the "passive" part shares with them using special membrane proteins called aquaporins - they literally serve as channels for the exchange of water. - How is a jelly mask different from a regular night cream?

– With its light texture! You are used to the fact that a night cream is necessarily thick, oily and heavy. Dior decided to match. Their new Hydra Life line positioned as "sensual hydration". The manifesto states: "Pleasure directly affects the beauty of the skin." The brand promises to give us a buzz with "pleasant fragrance, fresh colored textures with minimal use of silicone."

In fact, a serious scientific basis has been put under “pure pleasure”. Hydra Life products are Dior's collaboration with the Microbiome Project, on which 200 scientists worked. The essence of their work was reduced to the study of the life of microbes. The conclusion was wonderful: the microbes on the surface of our skin are not strangers that need to be disposed of, but full participants in the processes that take place in our bodies. The researchers propose not to exterminate these participants, but to feed them: to supply them with food and building material.

Dior found that the extract of the Gaberlea flower can stimulate the skin flora. In addition to this extract, all products of the line contain mallow extract, which accelerates the synthesis of aquaporins (they improve the circulation of moisture inside the skin).

There are nine products in the line: three masks, four cleansers, serum and sorbet cream. Masks and cleansing are selected depending on the type of skin. The main products (cream and serum) will suit anyone - if she needs hydration and nutrition (and who does not need them?).

I chose four products suitable for my skin type (oily, aging, slightly pigmented) and tested them for a month.

Dior Hydra Life Cleansing Foam

Cleansing and tone in one bottle (white tea extract and saponins).

Olya:“Lotion to foam is a liquid that turns into foam. Often cleansers for oily skin are aggressive and squeaky clean, but this is super-gentle. Washes cleanly, gently, removes make-up (not waterproof), does not dry. Smells fresh and wears off slowly. Like!”

The only drawback is that the mask is not washed off very easily.

I know it doesn't make much sense to get excited, but I can't hold it back. This is just an amazing cream.

I didn’t understand only about “moisturizing for 24 hours” - is it supposed that you can use the cream in the morning, and don’t remember about it in the evening? But I wash my face twice a day, and then I apply care. I tried to wash my face with foam - no, it’s a trick about moisturizing for a day: the skin without cream still tightens.
