All collections of toys from kinder. Chocolate egg with the right toy or how to choose the right kinder surprise. Kinder with a toy has more weight - is that so?

I am not yet thirty years old, but I already agree that the grass was greener before, the trees are taller, and the toys from the kinder surprise are more interesting. Hippos, elephants, winter penguins, dinosaurs at a construction site - toys made of chocolate eggs from Ferrero were so thoughtful and well made that they were passed on to children and grandchildren, and collections were sold for decent money.

In 2018, I don't want to buy kinder surprises: the child opens the foil wrapper in anticipation of a miracle, sees a cheap plastic trinket and throws it away.

And I'm just throwing money away. Kinder collections 2018 are:

  • Barboskins - figurines on a stand unlike cartoon characters;
  • animals Natuns;
  • marsupials and water dwellers, not like real animals;
  • kinderino with balls;
  • ninja turtles;
  • cartoon characters Masha and the Bear.

Against this background, other brands make more worthy toys, for example, Thomas the trains and friends.

Or chocolate eggs with funny dogs (Sunny, Sweet box):

In 2018, Kinder Surprise celebrates its 50th anniversary, and in honor of this, the manufacturer creates a boring collection consisting of Kinderino and other toys from Ferrero.

In my opinion, only in 2014 the company released something worthy - an assortment of figures from the nineties in a new version - hippos, crocodiles, dinosaurs, elephants, penguins ...

If you miss the quality of kinders, I suggest you take a look at my collection of toys made of chocolate eggs, which I gladly presented to my child.

Kinder surprises of the early nineties

My acquaintance with toys from kinder surprises began in 1992, when the Die Happy Hippos collection appeared - deck hippos.

My figurines are over 26 years old, they lost their accessories and the paint has worn off, but they still warm me with the warmth of memories and surprise me with their quality.

Probably better than these hippos - only hippos in Hollywood from the "Die Happy Hippo Hollywood Stars" series.

A year later, Ferrerro released a collection of frogs. Funny amphibians on skates and skis, making snowmen. Remember this frog in a white skirt?

In 1994, a collection of kinders came out, which I remember well - bar penguins.

Parents went to the bazaar and exchanged repeated figurines for those that were not enough, bought penguins and made their children happy.

The quality of the toys is decent: my penguins are 24 years old, and they still delight with their cute appearance. The chipped paint is the result of long games and careless (unfortunately) attitude: I am sure that neat collectors have kept their figurines in perfect condition.

Beach elephants from old collections of Kinders are fans of surfing, ice cream and leisurely relaxation on the sand. Next to them are detective foxes, lovers of detective stories and riddles.

The next series of kinder surprises from 1995: sharks. Bright blue mother-of-pearl predatory fish like in a fairy tale about Aladdin: rich, calm, pacified.

Who doesn't remember the dinosaur builders? A lazy worker eating a sandwich, a sloppy dinosaur hit in the paw with a hammer and a caring nurse, a smart foreman and a hardworking handler ...

Figurines of hares during the winter holidays are some of the favorites. Bright, funny, with a mug of hot tea, skiing and sledging.

In my collection of kinders there are many unpaired lonely figures and different series that I never had time to assemble or change:

  • hares;
  • crocodiles;
  • gnome artisans;
  • happy bugs;
  • lions;
  • musical instruments;
  • Egyptian cats.

But very old toys have survived:

  • guards;
  • slumpers;
  • double figures.

age test: who remembers

Any toys from kinder in my collection are animals with children: dogs, cats, chickens, pandas, rabbits. They are so similar to the real ones that I wish I had collected all the episodes.

Millennium collection

Since the beginning of 2000, something has gone wrong, and Kinder surprises have ceased to please with interesting toys made of chocolate eggs.

The Happy 2000 series was disappointing, and the line of Asterix, vampires, snoopy and pigs muted the desire to spend money on kinder surprise.

We often began to purchase chocolate eggs from other companies, for example, Parsley, where we came across funny toys from Soviet cartoons:

  • Wait for it;
  • Buttermilk;
  • Parrot Kesha;
  • Crocodile Gena and Cheburashka.

Soon these collections were replaced by cheap series of new cartoons, and I stopped paying attention to "Petrushka".

Should you buy kinders from new collections?

Kinder surprise was created to give joy to children: it's not for nothing that chocolate eggs have been released for fifty years.

I will still buy this toy for my child sometimes, but I would like the quality of the material to return to the formula of the nineties, the figures become as versatile as before, and the kinder chocolate remains tasty.

What is your favorite collection of Kinders from your childhood?

Inexperienced parents assume that buying a sealed box of "Kinder surprises" gives a guarantee of receiving all the serial toys painted on it. In fact, there is only a third of the stated series, and even then there may be repetitions. The first myth dispelled, of which there will be many more.

What to consider when buying a full large box?

There are two points that will have a significant impact on the decision to make such a purchase.

  1. If you purchase a large box, collectible toys will not be cheaper at cost than a small 3 kinder box. The reason is the relatively small percentage of the required figures. In a small box, one egg is guaranteed with a collectible toy.
  2. Not every Kinder in a big box will be from the right series. In stores, sellers often put several boxes together, mixing toys from different editions. In order to avoid such a purchase, you need to know the production dates that are borderline for the collection being assembled, and check all the "Kinder surprises" for a match.

But there are a number of subtleties, using which, it is absolutely not necessary to purchase full packages. The process of choosing purchases becomes much more interesting, more exciting and ... more profitable.

How to choose the right toy among others in the box?

Although at first glance, each "Kinder Surprise" is absolutely identical to the rest, in fact there are a number of differences that you can take advantage of.

  1. Appearance... Often "Kinder surprises" on the wrappers display the collections that are offered to collectors. For example, a cute Kitty face appeared on eggs in 2015 and all girls can try to find their favorite character.
  2. Marking. Thanks to the commitment of the manufacturers to properly package the products they produce. If there are two letters near the code on the bottom of the toy, this is a collectible toy, if three - puzzles, constructors, single toys and other nice little things. Kitty, pirates, fairies and other favorite characters from "Kinder Surprise" gather in this way.
  3. The weight . There is a difference, although it is difficult to determine it by eye, you need to weigh the eggs to be sure of your guesses. The figurines weigh a couple of grams more than the prefab toys. The 2014 series of fairies weighed at least 32 grams instead of the usual 28-31. In 2015, the blue and pink copies were pulled up to 33, and Kitty - up to 36 grams. Light "Kinder surprises" often hide puzzles or small constructors in a chocolate shell.

    Since they are most often sold in grocery stores, there is nothing easier than using a scale and determining your chances of winning. Ideally, work with your own scales, the scale of which has tenths of a gram; they will demonstrate greater accuracy.

  4. Sound . If you shake the "Kinder Surprise", the sounds will be very different. Prefabricated designers are knocking dully on the wall. Kinder Joy is made of high quality plastic that sounds like glass when shaken.

It is interesting to collect Prostokvashino. Dad with the TV knocks loudly with a small screwdriver. Uncle Fyodor and Matroskin are smaller and lighter than the others, they consist of 2 parts. The cows are from one, so they don't make a sound. The car is heavier. You can guess the rest by memorizing the knock of the purchased options and acting by elimination.

Kitty practically does not make sounds, since the figures are solid, packed in paper sheets, and there is no room for the "surprise" to move inside the plastic.

Buying a small box

It is easy to choose from three eggs - most often the company puts the right one on the extreme right. It is not difficult to check this using a scale. If its weight is 32 grams or more, the rest of the copies can be safely gifted to familiar kids, leaving a clear leader. Of course, you should first open the main applicant and make sure that the choice is made correctly. The Kitty collection most often reaches a weight of 35 grams.

"Kinder Surprise" brings a lot of pleasure to both adults and children. Each toy is an example of a kind, funny and colorful character from a famous story. You can choose a series at your discretion and collect a complete collection - a large company of thematic fairy-tale heroes along with their accessories and "technical equipment". And for this you do not have to buy a huge amount of chocolate eggs. It is enough to use the proposed methods and determine the collection options for surprises with greater accuracy. It turns out to be not difficult at all.

Chocolate eggs with a surprise have long been a favorite treat for children and adults. In addition to a delicious dessert, transformers or collectible toys are invested in kinder, which the manufacturer launches in a series: a collection of hippos, ducklings, smeshariki, lion cubs.

For a collector, be it an adult or a child, it is very important to collect the entire series as a whole, while you want to save money and not buy eggs that will not bring a collectible copy of the toy.

Kinder with a toy has more weight - is that so?

This statement may turn out to be true, but to purchase chocolate eggs on the basis of a higher weight, you need to have a fairly accurate scale nearby. The difference in weight between an egg and a collectible toy is very small, so you need to carefully weigh several kinders, choosing the heaviest ones for purchase. But there can be annoying mistakes.

Find a toy from the collection by knock

There is an opinion that toys from the collection, when shaking a chocolate egg, emit a characteristic sound of a glass object rolling, this sound is emitted by a special plastic of the highest quality, from which collectible toys are made. The lightweight prefabricated parts of the designer, when shaken, emit a low dull sound.

This method assumes that the buyer has a developed ear for music, but it is unlikely to be able to help - some collectible toys are packed in soft paper. The packed figures take up almost all the space in the plastic capsule and do not make any noise.

Buy a whole pack of chocolate eggs - is there a guarantee to get collectible toys?

Many people believe that buying a whole box of kinders is an absolute guarantee of getting toys from the collection. In fact, this assumption is far from the truth. Only about 30% of eggs with toys are placed in a box, while toys can be of the same type, of the same type.

Nobody knows what happens to the box of eggs in the store. It often happens that the remains of products from several boxes are folded for convenience in one package. What prizes the eggs were left with is unknown. The percentage of filling the large and small boxes with valuable prizes is the same.

How to Find Label Prizes

Chocolate eggs with a surprise are wrapped in a foil wrapper, on which the manufacturer indicates a lot of useful information about the product: weight, composition, batch number, name, barcode. Studying the markings will help you find out a lot of necessary information, including information about the attached toys.

Attention! Below, just below the barcode, the manufacturer indicates a marking consisting of a series of numbers and letters. The top row of numbers ends with letters.

There are two variants of the letter designation:

  • Two letters in the marking mean that the toys that collectors want to find are hidden inside the chocolate egg. Of course, this cannot serve as a guarantee that the purchased kinders will not contain the same figures, but the principle itself will help to choose an egg with a figure of a certain series.
  • Three letters in the marking - a variety of surprises can be hidden in the chocolate bowels: transformers, puzzles, molded plastic toys, various little things, but the desired toys from the collections cannot be there.

When buying chocolate eggs, you can use all the methods: studying the packaging, weighing, shaking, but then the whole effect of surprise will disappear. And the chocolate egg was invented for this, so that there was a mysterious surprise.

Moreover, not only children, but also adults are interested in these toys. This is an excellent material for an unusual collection that can be replenished for a lifetime.

From an Italian bakery to a global confectionery group

There would be no toys, no collections and no "Kinder surprises" if a small family bakery had not initially opened in the city of Turin in Italy. Here rolls, loaves, flat cakes were quietly baked peacefully. And in 1930, the shop was inherited from father to son Pietro Ferrero. It was at this moment that the history of the toy began, which still did not exist.

Senor Ferrero was famous among his neighbors for his easy, cheerful character, optimism and rare resourcefulness. He loved soft rolls, but his imagination extended far beyond the trays with loaves of bread. By nature, he was a great experimenter and his research activities were related to unique recipes for sweet dishes. So very soon an ordinary bakery turned into a full-fledged pastry shop, where Pietro "conjured" together with his wife Pierre.

True, the Second World War forced the couple to move from their hometown to the north. But even there, sweet dreams did not give the Ferrero family peace, and already in 1942, the couple reopened a confectionery store, which, after a few years, was transformed into a confectionery factory. Here, in Alba, the Ferrero spouses were expecting a tremendous success, and very soon the sweet products of the confectioners spread all over the world.

Now let's get acquainted with the heir of the confectionery empire Ferrero Michele. Son of Pietro hated milk as a child like most of his friends. Therefore, joining the family business, he immediately thought about all those babies who, like him, were not fans of cow's milk. Michele decided to release chocolate with a high milk content, so that the child can get all the beneficial substances that are in milk, and at the same time, so that it tastes good. Michele named this series of chocolate "Kinder".

It would be untrue to say that the idea for the surprise sweet comes from the Ferrero family. In our country, before the war, the so-called chocolate bombs, inside which were hidden tiny nesting dolls, hearts, jugs and other small things for kids. And in Italy itself there has been a pleasant tradition since ancient times. Parents baked egg-shaped cakes for their children for Easter and hid small surprises or coins inside.

Michele Ferrero decided to combine his children's chocolate and this fun tradition, so the "Kinder Surprise" turned out. It was decided to make the capsule for the toy in the form of a real yellow egg yolk. But the idea of a tiny toy produced in series was proposed by the Swiss designer Henry Roth.

Kinder mania

In 1974, the first batch of Kinder Surprise chocolate eggs rolled off the assembly line, went to store shelves and ... was sold out in just one hour. Already after the expiration of this name, many adults and children have turned into real maniacs-collectors, buying up eggs.

Some toys from "Kinder surprises" are hand-painted, which is why they are valuable, have no analogues. So collectors are ready to give up to 500 US dollars for some copies. Some rare toys are priced at 1,000 euros. In 2007, a collection of 90 thousand kinder toys were sold on eBay for 30,000 euros.

Imitators

Many are trying to imitate the success of pastry chef Ferrero. The founder of the Landrin chocolate brand Igor Markitantov was the first in Russia to launch his own chocolate eggs on sale. He began his activity in the chocolate field with the sale of original "Kinder surprises". And when an enterprising young man decided to open his own business, he released domestic chocolate eggs "Chudiki" in Russian stores. True, initially the eggs were purchased in the same Italy, and the toys were made in China. But the characters for the toy series were the most ours, heroes of domestic cartoons ("Well, wait!", "Win the Pooh", "Prostokvashino", "Kid and Carlson" ...).

Kinder facts

All baby chocolate products are sold under the name "Kinder". Therefore, in every country the first word of the name of the chocolate egg is authentic - "Kinder". And the second word is translated into the national language. Therefore, in Russia, the egg is called "Kinder Surprise", in Norway and Sweden it is called Kinderoverraskelse, in Brazil and Portugal - Kinder Surpresa, in Spain - Kinder Sorpresa.

In hot countries, a chocolate egg would certainly melt before reaching the store. So for them Ferrero is releasing a variation on the theme of a surprise egg - Kinder Joy. A plastic egg, in one half of the egg - chocolate with a spoon, in the other - a toy.

Kinder Surprises are not sold in the US. And all because since 1938 it is forbidden to put foreign objects into food products.

The Kinder egg weighs 35 grams with the toy.

In "Kinder Surprise" the milk content reaches 32%.

In the 30 years since its launch, Ferrero has sold 30 billion chocolate surprises.

In Belgium, the enterprising butcher Fontaine has launched a surprise sausage egg for sale. Mr. Fontaine motivated his act by the fact that a salami egg turns out to be not much larger than a chocolate one, and the toy can be hidden in it larger.

And as always in the bonus Gallery of Kinder Surprises from the nineties.

In 2018, Kinder Surprise celebrates its 50th anniversary.
