The hole through which the balloon is pumped with helium has a petal check valve that traps the helium inside the inflated balloon. If the neck of the foil balloon is tied incorrectly, the tightness of the check valve is broken, and helium begins to leave the balloon. No matter how much you tie the braid, it still will not prevent the helium from leaving the balloon (lavsan is not elastic). To maintain the tightness of the check valve, it is necessary either to properly tie the foil balloon, or to seal the neck of the inflated balloon on a sealing machine.
