Choosing shoes for sports. What to look out for

When choosing sportswear, you need to pay attention to the fabric, cut features, the presence of special mesh inserts and other parameters. Let's take it all in order.

Fabric and special technologies

Cotton used to be the best fabric for sportswear. Now it is also used in production, but, as a rule, in combination with polyester.

The fact is that cotton quickly gets wet from sweat and retains moisture on the surface of the fibers, so you can catch a cold after an intense workout.

On the surface of polyester fibers (PE, PL, Polyester) 16 times less water droplets are retained, so synthetic clothing dries faster. Elastane (EL, Elastane, spandex) provides good breathability, resistance to dirt and fading.

Polyester and elastane leggings

Also used in the production of sportswear is microfiber polyamide (PA), also known as Meryl or Tactel. This fabric does not stick to the body and allows air to pass through.

In sportswear, a two-layer fabric structure is often used. They take two different synthetic threads (for example, polyester and elastane or cotton and polyester) and create a special structure when the weave is thicker on the inside and thinner on the outside. Due to this, moisture is removed from the body, brought to the surface, evenly distributed over it and quickly evaporates.

Well-known brands are constantly developing new ones, but their essence, as a rule, is not disclosed. Manufacturers limit themselves to mentioning functions and do not go into details. Here are some examples:

  • Climacool - fabric removes moisture and heat to the surface, provides micro-ventilation.
  • Climalite is a blend of polyester and elastane, a lightweight, breathable fabric that wicks moisture away from the skin. In such clothes it is really not hot, it dries quickly.

Climalite T-shirt
  • Quik Cotton is a double weave fabric made from cotton and polyester. The percentage may vary. For example, 63% cotton and 37% polyester.
  • Speedwick is a moisture-wicking polyester and elastane synthetic fabric. Feels like cotton.

Things created using Speedwick technology
  • ActivChill is Reebok's pentagon weave technology. The fabric is breathable and provides good ventilation.

In addition, sportswear made of synthetic fabrics is very practical. After many washes, T-shirts, leggings and shorts do not lose their shape and color, they do not need to be ironed. If you train often - every other day or every day, this will be a big advantage.

Style and compression

Previously, I associated sportswear with rather spacious things: stretched T-shirts and wide pants that do not pinch or press anywhere. Now the views on this issue have changed.

Loose clothes are great for the house, but during sports, sails flapping around you will get in the way. This has a bad effect on aerodynamic properties, interferes with stretching. And if, for example, you roll your body on a massage roller with spikes, the edges of the T-shirt roll under it and this is very annoying.

Choose clothes that are close to the body, but not tight. If you choose synthetic fabrics, you can not be afraid that a wet T-shirt will stick to your body and interfere.

In addition to special fabrics and technologies, mesh inserts are often used in sportswear: in the armpit area, on the back, on the chest. Mesh provides extra ventilation.

Compression clothing is suitable for intensive loads. It not only looks good, but also helps to cope with unusually hard workouts. Intense running, strength training with heavy lifting, preparation for competitions, as well as a tendency to edema and varicose veins are all indications for the use of compression underwear.

Light uniform compression of the limbs helps the vessels withstand heavy loads. In addition, compression underwear reduces muscle pain after a workout and helps you recover faster.

And yet, compression things should be left in case of unusual excessive loads. Constant wearing of such clothes reduces vascular tone.

Underwear and socks

Cyclists and track and field athletes should consider compression underwear. It has no seams, so during training you can avoid scuffs and discomfort. In addition, compression shorts evenly squeeze the muscles of the thighs and buttocks, reducing pain after training and speeding up recovery.

For women, the right sports top is especially important. During running and jumping, the ligaments of the chest are stretched, so that it quickly loses its shape. Age, pregnancy and feeding do not spare your bust anyway, help it at least during sports.

Sports bras are made from the same synthetic materials as clothing, but are generally much denser. So it is unlikely that you will be able to avoid sweaty underwear (especially since it is under a T-shirt, so moisture does not evaporate so efficiently).

There are several options for sports bras: from elastic fabric without cups and with division into cups. The first option will simply press the bust to the chest and fix it. I like these bras even though they make you look like you don't have breasts at all.

Bra for sports

The second option - with cups - is suitable for girls with a large size.

In order for the top to support the chest well and not squeeze the shoulders, it should have fairly wide straps and a wide elastic band at the bottom. Good chest support models with T-shaped and V-shaped backs. Mesh inserts can improve breathability a bit, but still don't expect a bra to stay dry after an intense workout (this is my experience, maybe someone else is not).

There are also special socks for sports. They differ from ordinary socks in materials and some features of the cut. Like clothing, sports socks are not made from 100% cotton, but either from a combination of cotton with polyamide or polyester, or from polyester and elastane. This means that they are better breathable and remove moisture, last longer and do not lose their shape.

Sports socks have a thicker elastic band, thanks to which they do not slip during training, and a thinner and flatter seam in the toe area. To repeat the shape of the leg, the socks are divided into right and left.

Features of sports shoes

The choice of shoes depends on the sport. If you are going to the gym to work out with a barbell and dumbbells, you should not take sneakers with reinforced springy soles. It should be low (no more than 2-2.5 cm) and without a noticeable thickening on the heel. It is also advisable to choose shoes with corrugated (so that the sneakers do not slip) and sufficiently flexible (so that the foot is comfortable) soles.

If you are looking for running shoes, you should consider options with a springy thickened sole. When choosing running shoes, you need to pay attention to several parameters:

  • foot structure;
  • the surface on which you will run;
  • intensity and type of running.

To determine the structural features of the foot (degree of pronation), conduct a test with a sheet of paper and water. Wet your foot and leave a wet print on the sheet.

Degree of pronation

If you overpronate and/or are overweight, it is better to consider running shoes with good cushioning and arch support. The latter will soften the impact of the foot on the ground while running and protect the knees from injury. But if you have a neutral or hypopronation, you should not buy shoes with an arch support: the risk of twisting your leg increases.

The heavier the athlete and the less prepared his ligaments and muscles, the more he needs foot support and cushioning. In modern running shoes, different materials are used for cushioning: gel, foam, plastic inserts.

A high heel reduces the risk of injury, however, its hard parts should not put pressure on the foot or dig into the leg: all this is fraught with pain and calluses after training.

The front of your running shoes should be flexible. In some modern sneakers, it is completely made of synthetic breathable fabric. It looks like you're running in springy-soled socks. It is very comfortable.

Soft toe sneakers

Other sneakers have stiff elements in the forefoot, but mostly the upper is made of mesh fabric, which is very breathable.

Mesh sneakers

Do not buy shoes back to back: there should be about 3 mm between the thumb and the toe of the sneaker. During running, the foot increases in size. And if the finger rests on the sneaker, you can damage the nail.

When choosing shoes, you need to remember what kind of surface and what season you will be running on. For summer runs on asphalt, a stadium or a treadmill in the gym, sneakers with a soft and thin sole and a fabric or mesh upper are suitable.

Ground running, such as forest trails, requires stiffer shoes with deep tread to protect the foot. The off-road and trail running shoe has extra protection at the toe to protect you from branches and sharp rocks, as well as a deep tread and spikes.

Sneakers for running in autumn, winter and spring are also heavier: the mesh materials of the upper are replaced by denser, waterproof ones.

Basic set for summer or gym

So, if you decide to practice outdoors in summer or early autumn, you will need a basic set of things for different weather:

If it's sunny and hot:

  • T-shirt and shorts made of synthetic breathable materials;
  • light sneakers;
  • headdress;
  • Sunglasses.

If it's raining and cold:

  • light T-shirt with long sleeves;
  • shorts or leggings;
  • sneakers with waterproof top;
  • a hat with a visor so that the rain does not obstruct your vision.

Basic set for spring and autumn

Running in light clothes is dangerous: you can catch a cold. Moreover, it should be borne in mind that after serious loads, immunity is somewhat reduced.

In warm weather, you can wear leggings, a long-sleeved T-shirt and a windbreaker. Sports windbreakers are sewn from membrane fabric, thanks to which sweat does not accumulate under the jacket, but is brought to the surface. At the same time, the top layer of the jacket is waterproof and keeps you warm. The hood is a plus. If not, you need a light sports cap.

Thermal underwear is useful for late autumn and early spring. It is sewn from polypropylene or polyester, using a special weave, due to which moisture is transferred from the surface of the body to the fabric. The seams of the thermal underwear are on the outside, so you can not be afraid of scuffs.

Basic set for winter

The bottom layer is thermal underwear or synthetic sportswear that wicks moisture away from the body.

The top layer is jackets made of membrane fabric, which, thanks to micropores, allows water vapor to pass through from the inside, but not water drops from the outside. Vapors from the body penetrate the first layer of clothing and come to the surface in the form of steam.

This technology is used in clothes of the famous brand Columbia. Jackets marked Omni-Tech feature a waterproof and moisture-wicking membrane.

Also, the jacket may have additional ventilation in case the membrane cannot cope with the fumes. If you sweat a lot while exercising, consider this option.

There are several types of membrane jackets:

  • Single layer. The membrane is applied to the fabric and protected with a polyurethane coating. These jackets are perfect for spring, they are very light.
  • Double layer. In such jackets, the membrane is also applied to the fabric, but does not have a protective polyurethane coating. Instead, the membrane is protected by a mesh lining. These jackets will last longer.
  • Three-layer. In such jackets, the membrane is located between two layers of fabric: the outer layer and the lining. This is the most durable option.

One of the most famous membranes -. This polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) material with a thin PU film has high waterproof performance. Clothing and footwear with this membrane perfectly passes air and removes moisture, but it is also quite expensive.

A more modern membrane is eVent. Instead of a protective PU layer that reduces vapor permeability, an oily substance is used here, due to which the pores of the membrane conduct evaporation better. Non-porous membranes like Triple-Point and Sympatex protect very well from precipitation, but rather poorly remove body evaporation at high humidity.

The ability of a jacket to wick away sweat is greatly affected not only by the type of membrane, but also by what you wear under it.

Under jackets with a membrane, it is worth wearing clothes that remove moisture: sportswear made of synthetic materials or thermal underwear.

If you wear a thick cotton sweater underneath, it will get wet. Sweat will not be effectively removed to the surface of the jacket, and you will train in wet clothes.

Another well-known technology for winter clothing is Omni-Heat. These are the dots of aluminum on the lining of the garment, which are easily recognizable by Columbia jackets. The aluminum dots retain body heat, and the space between them prevents overheating.

Omni heat

Sports jacket labels sometimes indicate the temperature at which you will be comfortable exercising. For example, here is a jacket for -10 °C and an option for 0 °C.

Additional Attributes

Sports hats are made from a combination of wool with synthetic materials: polyester, acrylic, polypropylene.

Hats for warmer weather do not have additional insulation. They are lightweight and wick away moisture well. For severe cold weather, it is better to take a hat with fleece insulation. Also, in frost and strong winds, you may need a balaclava - a woolen mask that covers your face.

If you don't want to train with wet hair, consider the Windstopper hats. This is a porous membrane applied to the lining fabric. It passes water well in the vapor state. In addition to the lining and membrane, these hats have a top layer that protects from wind and cold, but allows steam to pass through. As a result, you will not be left with wet hair, but at the same time your head will be warm.

An equally important attribute of winter training is gloves made of wool and synthetic materials. There are options with non-slip inserts and special material on the fingers for using smartphones.

That's all. What are you training in? Share your observations about comfortable sportswear in the comments.

Almost everyone who runs has experienced injury. Painful knees, clogged calves, inflammation of the periosteum. Or maybe you have no injuries, but you would like to improve your results.

The most correct way will be to work on yourself - improve your technique, work on strength and endurance. But it would also be nice if your running shoes helped in this process.

Why choose shoes - Gait analysis

There are a lot of running shoes and brands - one company, Asics, has about 30 models. They differ not only in color. There are arch support shoes for runners with flat feet, heavily cushioned shoes for those with sore knees or heel spurs, and light and responsive shoes for professional athletes with strong muscles.

The selection of sneakers is designed to help you understand this range and find the right shoe for you. It will not make your running technique perfect. But it will help you choose sneakers that right now, after leaving the store, will allow you to train without overloading your muscles and improve your physical shape and technique.

Survey

We will find out your running experience, injuries, physiological parameters, what goals you want to achieve, how you train. It depends on what degree of cushioning and stabilization you need.

For beginners, models with strong cushioning and stability are suitable, because their feet are the weakest link in the chain of running muscles. They get tired the fastest, and it turns out that the body has just warmed up, and the feet are already tired.

For experienced amateurs, it is more difficult - they need not only softness so as not to get tired ahead of time, but also rigidity, which will allow them to run fast. That is, we are looking for medium stiffness and trying to reduce the weight of the shoe.

Injuries are also different. For example, with a heel spur, you need a lot of cushioning, and stabilization is not necessary at all. And with the syndrome of a split leg, on the contrary, stabilization is most important. If you overpronate, the arch support is important, and if the heel falls sideways, then you need a hard heel counter.

Thus, by interviewing you, we understand an approximate set of models that may suit your features and needs.

Running test

You take turns putting on different shoes from the set that we identified during the survey phase and running in them on the treadmill. Feel them on your feet, appreciate the convenience and comfort.
We are recording your run on camera at this time. Then we analyze the record using the testing program: we determine the angles in the joints of the legs at various phases of running, we look at the general position of the body, posture, and the movement of the center of gravity.

This information helps determine which running shoe is best for the task at hand. For example, the hard heel of which model of sneakers better keeps the foot from blockage. Or which arch support better fights with excessive pronation. In which sneakers the body position is symmetrical. What is the best sole for stabilizing the foot? In addition, based on the video, we can give general recommendations for improving running technique.

What do you get as a result

At the end of the test, we give you a report, which will contain all the information that we received from you and entered into the questionnaire, as well as a full report on the running test, with screenshots from our program. All tested sneaker models, all recorded phases of the running movement and comments on them. General comment on the outcome of the test. With this report, you can come to any running store and choose your own sneakers if for some reason we don’t have the right ones in our assortment. Not always the problem is solved by sneakers. Depending on the situation, our staff may recommend you get running orthopedic insoles, see a massage therapist or a doctor. This information will also be included in the report.

Athletic shoes, without a doubt, top the list of popular trends that have become firmly established in modern fashion over the past decade. It would seem that until recently, sneakers and sneakers were worn exclusively for playing sports and walking in nature - today we see them everywhere: on the streets of cities, in restaurants and clubs, and sometimes even in the office and at special events.

Would you like to learn more about how to choose and what to combine sports shoes with? Today we will dwell on this in more detail.

Men's sports shoes and its varieties

Men's sports shoes are very popular these days, but in order to choose the right pair, you should understand their varieties.

Sneakers

Sneakers - the most popular model of men's sports shoes

Sneakers - comfortable shoes with an ergonomic rubber sole and a fairly massive, often perforated, textile or leather upper. The first models of this kind appeared at the beginning of the 20th century, and in the mid-1920s they were put into mass production by the German company Adidas, which to this day is one of the world leaders in the production of sports shoes.

For several decades, sneakers were used exclusively for sports, gradually the models began to be divided into directions by sports: shoes designed for running, football, basketball, tennis, etc. stood out in separate categories. Since the late 1970s, sneakers have gradually become enter into everyday fashion, and recently they have firmly secured the title of a full-fledged element of casual style.

sneakers

Sneakers - a type of sports shoes with a flat sole made of rubber and a smooth top made of fabric, less often leather. The height of classic sneakers is above the ankle, but gradually low models also gained popularity.

If the history of sneakers is inextricably linked with companies such as Adidas and Nike, then the Chuck Taylor All-Star model by the American brand Converse, which was released back in the 1920s and is still popular in a very slightly modernized form, is recognized as classic sneakers.

Initially, sneakers were also used mainly for sports, and due to their lightness and low price, this shoe model quickly spread throughout the world, including the USSR, where canvas sneakers were standardized in GOST. Toward the end of the 20th century, this shoe model became associated with various subcultures, for example, skaters. Today, sneakers are a full-fledged element of modern urban fashion.

Sneakers

Sneakers are an essential element of modern street style.

Sneakers are the newest subspecies of sports shoes, located between sneakers and sneakers. More massive than sneakers, however, they cannot be classified as sneakers, since they were originally created not as shoes for sports, but as an element of street style. Sneakers often have a particularly striking design, often produced by brands that have not previously worked with sports shoes.

boots

Cleats are the only type of men's sports shoes that are really only used for sports.

Cleats these days are called shoes designed exclusively for sports, to separate them from sneakers, sneakers and sneakers for everyday wear. These models are characterized by the use of the most modern technological elements (special insoles and sole shapes, spikes, highly breathable fabrics), as well as bright acid colors and noticeable logos of sports brands.

This type of footwear is not designed to be combined with casual wear.

How to choose sports shoes

First of all, you need to decide where exactly you plan to wear a new pair of shoes. For sports or fitness, you need shoes designed for physical activity. It is best to choose these models in specialized sports stores (for example, from brands such as Adidas, Nike, Puma, Reebok, etc.) and pay attention to the design of the sole and the materials used: sneakers should breathe, soften the load on the foot, reduce hit while running.

Sneakers for outdoor activities, such as long walks in nature, have less stringent requirements, but they still prefer breathable materials, such as perforated fabric for summer, or, in less favorable climates, waterproof materials, such as Gore-Tex. Similar shoes are also better to pick up in sports stores, but you should pay attention not to the sections for running and sports, but to the sections for outdoor activities or everyday wear.

If you need a new pair of stylish sneakers or sneakers for every day, the choice is greatly expanded: in addition to direct sports brands, almost all shoe brands now produce such models. Of the sneaker brands, New Balance is a big hit, while Converse and Vans are favored by sneaker fans. Often interesting models can be found in clothing stores: many manufacturers of jeans, outerwear or casual and urban style collections produce sneakers and sneakers to offer the buyer a complete look.

How to combine sports shoes with casual style

In order to harmoniously fit sports shoes into a casual look, we must remember that such models, unlike some of the more classic ones, are selected not for the color of trousers, but for the colors and style of all clothes.

Bright sneakers can be a great accent in a neutral look, for example, composed of sports trousers and a tank top or jeans and a sweatshirt.

Sneakers can be combined with a plaid shirt and skinny trousers, jeans with a leather jacket, shorts with a bright T-shirt, etc.

The most versatile type of sports shoes are black or white sneakers that go with absolutely everything, down to trench coats, coats and tweed jackets.

It is also important to remember that straight leg jeans or classic length trousers are best paired with sneakers or flat sneakers. Bright massive sneakers with ergonomic soles with such clothes will look too massive, it is better to fit them into everyday style along with skinny and cropped jeans or sports style pants.

How to combine sports shoes with business attire

For a stylish and bold look, you can pair sports shoes with a business suit. This technique has long been tested by the stars who appear in such sets at any event, up to the red carpet at the Oscars!

The combination of a strict suit with sports shoes gives the image a zest, but in order not to cross the line of bad taste, certain rules must be observed. First, the model and color of the shoes should be neutral, white sneakers would be ideal. Secondly, it is better to make a choice in favor of rather narrow trousers, you can also turn up the legs. Do not forget to use special short socks for sports shoes in this case! Another win-win option for pairing sneakers is a classic blazer and white shirt paired with sleek blue jeans.

A suit with white sneakers is a great choice for summer

Finally

If you used to wear athletic shoes exclusively for running in the morning, consider maybe you should reconsider this rule. Sneakers, sneakers or sneakers will help you create stylish and at the same time very comfortable looks for every day.

Each person in his life always faces a choice, whether life situations or various directions, sometimes we don’t think about the choice, and sometimes there is a certain problem. In our case, we will discuss the question of how to choose the right sports shoes for sports or fitness. Shoes are an essential accessory when playing sports, fitness, in general, any active lifestyle. To begin with, why do we need sports shoes? After all, sports shoe manufacturers are aimed at a specific sports direction. For outdoor activities, fitness, running, even weightlifting has its own shoes. Here you come to a sports store and your eyes run up from the variety and rainbow of colors of sports shoes. Basically, these are sneakers.

Walking on rough terrain does not have a flat and smooth surface, so sneakers with a sole should look a little more massive, the sole is completely stitched and the top of the sneakers should be made of a material that will protect when changing weather conditions. Usually it is leather or rubber. Walking down the street is full of surprises, so to protect the ankle, it is better to choose high sneakers to protect the legs from dislocations. But in this case, the material for walking sneakers is "breathable material". inexpensive ones are very fashionable among young people. Pay attention to the size, because when the weather changes, especially women wear warm socks, if you are one of them, keep this in mind.

For indoor activities In the fitness room, you need to pay attention to sneakers with a membrane, they should let air through freely and your legs will not feel discomfort and will not sweat during intense workouts. sneakers will provide you with a convenient and comfortable activity. The skin tends to change elastically, hence the shelf life only increases. Since you are constantly on the move in the gym, fitness sneakers should be light and comfortable. going to the gym, so choose colorful and nice-looking sneakers. Some people don’t like lacing since childhood, so it’s hard for anyone to consider the option of sneakers without laces. At the same time, you need to pay attention that the absence of laces on sneakers does not always fit the foot well, choose shoes in which the foot fits well and does not fly off during heavy loads right moment.

If you are passionate about running. Then the sports shop has a range of sneakers just for
running. They have a low level to give aerodynamics when running, unlike the other lightest ones. At the same time, running shoes are moisture resistant and do not let water inside. It is necessary to select such a size that the foot fits comfortably and at the same time firmly into the running shoes. There are also spikes on some running shoes.

If you are doing aerobics or shaping, then it is necessary to choose high shoes to protect the ankle joint. The load during aerobics is mainly on the forefoot, please note that such shoes have an air cushion in the forefoot.

Running shoes football called boots, have on
the sole has a number of spikes that contribute to tight contact with the grassy surface of the football field lawn and are great for hitting. The main material in the manufacture of boots is leather. for example, the famous football player Roberto Carlos liked to play in boots one size smaller, this allowed him to feel the sock when shooting at goal.

For basketball shoes the requirements are as follows. Basketball is a very mobile game, so the sneakers should be light. Have ventilation holes on the outside. Have a thin soft material inside. coating.

If you are serious about doing tennis, then pay attention to sneakers with a high back, with sudden changes in movement, the heel did not fall completely, they had strong lacing and a slightly corrugated sole. The leg and shoes should be a single whole in order to prevent injury.

Of course, when visually inspecting sports shoes, you need to measure them. Try to bring the socks that you will wear with you. Walk around the store, the comfort and stability in them will tell you that this particular sports shoe is right for you. Now you know how to choose the right sports shoes. Men's sports shoes are not easy comfortable sneakers or sneakers. This is a trend that confidently holds a leading position in the lists of the most fashionable things. More recently, men have only used these shoes for gym workouts or hiking. Now it’s hard to think of a place where you won’t meet a man in sneakers: restaurants, shops, clubs, in offices on the streets and even at celebrations. In this article, we will discuss how to choose and with what to wear such shoes.

Types of sports shoes

Sports shoes are not just popular, sales are breaking records year after year. But not every model is suitable for men's wardrobe, even the most informal. Therefore, you need to learn more about the varieties.

Sneakers for men

Sports shoes with more than a century of history. The prototype of sneakers appeared at the end of the 19th century. Comfortable shoes had a rubber sole that was easy to move in. This was appreciated by the athletes. Further development led to the use of synthetic materials in the soles and leather with textiles in the rest of the shoes. Beloved by many, Adidas began mass production of sneakers in the mid-twenties of the last century.

If you direct the effort to one point, the result will definitely be. Adidas shoes quickly gained popularity among athletes. A few decades later, the company began to produce models for various sports. Models for football players, runners, basketball players and other areas stood out. It is difficult to say who was the first to use sneakers in everyday wardrobe, but since the late seventies, shoes have slowly but surely conquered their niche in everyday fashion.

Men's shoes

The history of this shoe is as long as the sneaker. Models of the American company Chuck Taylor are considered classics of light sports shoes. In a few years it will be 100 years since the release of the first pair. Convenience and unpretentiousness allowed shoes to spread throughout the world, including the USSR.

Classic sneakers are sports shoes with a flat rubber sole and a high fabric or leather upper. But low models are also produced. In the second half of the last century, sneakers began to be associated with various informal movements. Today, these shoes are worn by both young people and respectable uncles, paying tribute to convenience.

Men's sneakers

Do not confuse with sneakers :) The name of the famous bar is translated as a giggle, and the shoes got their name from the English "to sneak", which means to sneak. Agree, a good name for sports shoes. This type is a cross between sneakers and sneakers. Today's sneakers are more massive than sneakers. But they can not be attributed to sneakers - they are not produced for sports. Therefore, among the manufacturers there are brands that have never worked with sports shoes.

Men's football boots

The most specific type of sports shoes. Only football and nothing else. Usage in everyday life is out of the question due to the specifics of the boots. Modern models acquired their finished form in the sixties. This applies to the height, and materials, and the size of the spikes. The most successful model was released by Adidas almost three decades ago. Surprisingly (or maybe not), but the former football player developed the Predator. Shoes are sharpened for specific tasks - maximum grip with the field and high-quality contact with the ball.

Choosing sports shoes

If you've bought shoes, you're familiar with the basics. The main thing is to know why you are buying and what you will wear with. For classes in the gym, you need some models, for running or active sports, others, well, for skateboarding or parkour, others. You will have to pay attention to the soles - materials absorb shocks differently. But don't forget about the top. That sneakers, that sneakers should "breathe" and easily pass moisture out. The best place to shop is a specialized sports store. But you can try your luck on the Internet.

But for walking in the park or relaxing in the country, simpler shoes are suitable. Not in terms of cost :) Shoes will not experience heavy loads, so there is no need to make strict demands on anything. A medium soft sole and a breathable upper are the maximum that is required from sneakers for outdoor activities. For summer, models made of perforated fabrics or special waterproof materials are suitable. You can also buy these shoes at a sports store. Just look in the specialized department.

But to purchase a stylish pair that you plan to wear daily, it is not necessary to go to a sports store. Many brands have a line of sports shoes. Often only the name and form come from the sport. But we do not need to run in it. Do you like Italian shoes? Choose models from "Fila". From Asian brands, we recommend products from the Japanese company Yonex and the Chinese Li-Ning. Of the specialized firms, it is worth noting New Balance, Puma and Converse. Sometimes interesting models can be found where you do not expect. Take a closer look at defense products - tactical sneakers are ideal for outdoor sports and for recreation.

What to wear with sports shoes

Remember the main thing, such shoes are combined with a casual wardrobe. It's not worth the risk using a strict dress code. We will not talk about sportswear - this is a separate issue. Yes, and most of us go to the gym to practice, not to show off ... right?? :) And so, what do you need to know in order to use sports shoes in a casual look?

  • The model is chosen not for the color of trousers or accessories, but for the style of the whole outfit.
  • For clothes in neutral tones - jeans, t-shirts, sweatshirts - sneakers in bright colors are suitable. They will become an eye-catching accent.
  • Sneakers look good with skinny trousers, jeans, plaid shirts or a leather jacket.
  • Black and white sneakers will go with any outfit. The most daring can wear them with a trench or tweed jacket.
  • For classic trousers and straight jeans, choose shoes with flat soles - sneakers or sneakers. Sneakers in this way will seem bulky. We advise you to wear them under tight or short jeans, khaki pants or semi-sweatpants. Rolled up pants look good. Read how to tuck trousers or jeans.
  • Sports shoes and a business suit are a provocative option tested by celebrities. The boss may not forgive such a mere mortal :) Although, if you are your own boss, then why not? Definitely white sneakers, short socks and skinny pants. If you need a less formal style, we take a classic jacket, blue jeans, a white shirt and sneakers.

Have you ever used sports shoes in your everyday look? You are missing a lot. It's time to reconsider your views and buy a pair or two of stylish sneakers or sneakers. Do not be afraid of difficulties and experiments. Leave comments and ask questions. "BEARD" will definitely answer. Good luck!
