Master class in drawing in non-traditional technique (paintings with cereals)

Master class "Gift to your beloved mother"

Martynenko Marina Dmitrievna, educator, MBDOU "Veseloyarsky kindergarten" Fairy Tale "", Altai Territory, Rubtsovsky district, p. Veseloyarsk.
The master - class is designed for children of middle and senior preschool age, teachers, parents, and will also be interesting for all creative people who are not indifferent to beauty.
Purpose: acquaintance with an unconventional drawing technique (pictures from cereals), making a gift for mom.
Tasks:
1) Educational: to improve the techniques of non-traditional techniques of fine art "drawing with cereals".
2) Developing: To develop children's artistic and creative abilities, attention, imagination, aesthetic taste, fine motor skills and hand coordination.
3) Educational: to promote the upbringing in children of accuracy, perseverance, dedication, hard work, interest in the process and results of work.
To work you need: thick cardboard (color optionally), PVA glue, millet groats, gouache, brushes, containers for cereals, hair spray.

The mouse ran across the field and found grain.
She stood and looked - it was large.
She dragged the mouse into the children's mink that grain,
They jumped up, licked their lips - it is delicious.
These mice cooked porridge from grain,
They sat down, ate, looked, grew up to the roof.
Porridge ... .. delicious, healthy, and stocky! Semolina, rice, millet ... .. Grain to grain ... Grain to grain ... But these grains, in addition to everyone's favorite dish, can provide us with a huge scope for creativity.
Almost all children love to tinker with cereals: pour it over, touch it with their hands, look for toys in it .. At one time we just drew with our finger on the scattered cereal, which was also a very exciting activity. But it turns out that you can create real works of art from cereals. Each cereal has its own color, caliber, grain shape. The surface of the pattern made of this natural material is embossed, textured and unconventional.
I would like to bring to your attention one of the options for drawing with cereals - "a gift to your beloved mom", made with millet. Flowers are the most pleasant gift for our mothers. But children do not always have the opportunity to give fresh flowers. Therefore, it is quite possible to draw them. Believe me, a flower "made" with your own hands will bring no less joy than a real one.
Mom's holiday is coming
Mom's day is coming
I know my mother loves very much
Roses, poppies and lilacs.

Only in March there is no lilac
You can't get roses and poppies ..
But you can, on a piece of paper
Draw all the flowers.

I will pin this picture
I'm over my mother's table.
Mom dear in the morning
I will hug and kiss
And congratulations on Women's Day.

Such a picture will not only be a gift for mothers, grandmothers and other family members, but also an excellent decoration for a children's room and a group in the garden ...

Progress:.

Step 1:

To diversify the creative process and give the picture brightness and expressiveness, we will paint millet in different colors.Of course, you can also paint ready-made applications from cereals, but little children still do not know how to do this neatly, and using colored cereals, you will get more attractive and juicy pictures.
So, let's get down to coloring. For the convenience of work, I placed millet in different containers (cups).

In our case, the drawing is made in 4 colors: green, black, red and pink. We will paint millet with ordinary gouache. To do this, we collect a little paint in a teaspoon and begin to intensively mix it with cereals.

When all the cereals are colored in a uniform color, we leave it to dry, stirring occasionally so that it does not stick together. And let's move on to another color.

So, the colored millet groats are ready.

STEP 2

Draw our flower on a dense cardboard base. For those who are not good at drawing, you can circle a picture from a children's coloring or download from the Internet.

STEP 3

Draw the outline of the drawing with glue.
The glue can be taken with ordinary clerical or PVA (glue stick is very inconvenient when creating small details with cereals). It is advisable to use the glue in a container with a fine tip or use a brush.

Pour black groats on the outline of the drawing, smeared with glue. We leave it to dry a little so that it adheres firmly to the cardboard.

STEP 5

Carefully turn the drawing vertically and shake off the remnants of cereal that do not stick to the glue. We got a black outline of the drawing.

Now you can start painting the flowers.
Apply glue (preferably with a brush) to the petals. Without letting the glue dry, with a quick movement of the hand, pour the millet groats in a chaotic manner over the entire lubricated surface so that it evenly hits all areas. Make sure that there are no empty areas, otherwise your flower will be "full of holes".

After a while, shake it off in the same way.

Likewise, paint over the petal with pink millet. That's it, the flowers are ready.

STEP 7

"Draw" leaves and stems: coat with glue, sprinkle abundantly with cereals and remove excess.

STEP 8

After completing the work, when it is completely dry, the painting must be covered with varnish or a thin layer of transparent glue. This will give the picture a shine and will not crumble for a long time.

So that is all. Our grain drawing is ready.

I am sure that if you "draw" it with your children, they will certainly be delighted, because not always mom allows you to sprinkle cereals, and it is all the more pleasant to see the result of your creativity. And the delight of adults from children's gifts with their own hands is much greater than from any expensive gift.

STEP 9

You can arrange the finished work as you wish. In this case, I have framed the drawing to prevent the paper from curling.

With the help of this drawing technique, children perfectly get not only flowers, but also cute animals, birds, cars. Anything you want - you just have to give scope to your imagination!

DIY crafts from grains, cereals and various seeds are a great way to keep children busy, because working with such a natural material perfectly trains fine motor skills of the hands, which helps to improve general and speech development. Also, such classes help to educate children in patience, diligence and perseverance.

Features of creativity using natural materials

Crafts from cereals with their own hands can be made not only by schoolchildren, because such joint creativity is suitable even for small children. True, with the kids you will need to be inseparable so that they do not harm themselves in any way.

So, as a material you may find useful:

  • all kinds of cereals and grains - buckwheat, rice, millet, semolina;
  • legumes - peas, lentils, and colored beans
  • any seeds and seeds - watermelon, pumpkin, melon and sunflower, etc.

You can even take. Also, in the process of work, you will need: thick paper or cardboard, glue, scissors, fabric, plasticine, templates of various patterns, ornaments (as you wish).

The best DIY crafts made from cereals, seeds and seeds are applications and pictures. You can come up with stories with your child yourself, or you can use some ready-made templates and transfer them to paper. The complexity of the work should depend on the age of the children, keep in mind that it should be interesting for the kid to do the craft on his own, albeit with your help, but not be completely on the sidelines.

We create applications and pictures with our own hands

The topic of work can be anything you like. But crafts made from grains and other natural materials on the theme of spring are very beautiful and original. Spring landscapes (crafts from watermelon seeds and cereals), lush flowers (flowers from pumpkin seeds are especially good - asters, sunflowers, snowdrops) are great ideas for children's creativity.

The more you use various cereals, seeds and seeds, the better, because they all not only differ in size and shape, but also in color and texture. That is, you will have a huge space for imagination and creativity. And if your grain craft needs some special colors, then you can always paint your materials using watercolors or gouache.

Try starting with a simple applique. For example, you can make a basket of flowers as a craft from pumpkin seeds.

  1. Draw the outlines of the basket on a piece of heavy paper or cardboard and cover them with glue.
  2. Next, spread pumpkin seeds along these contours to make a voluminous basket.
  3. Draw flowers inside in the same way - it can be sunflowers, asters, poppies, daisies, snowdrops or any others. Use seeds of various sizes to create them - pumpkin, watermelon, sunflower seeds.
  4. The middle of the flowers can be made from beads or covered with small grains.
  5. Color your bouquet and paint the basket brown. You can decorate the applique with glitter or stickers, add some plasticine details.

It's easy to make a vase of flowers on the theme of spring, just like a basket. To keep children's crafts from seeds for a long time and not crumble, you can sprinkle them with hairspray or cover them with transparent nail polish.

A favorite pastime for children will be the creation of applications and paintings with the image of various animals, birds or fish. Together with your child, come up with a plot and embody a fairy tale with the help of crafts from pumpkin or watermelon seeds, as well as other all kinds of materials.

Fishes, hedgehogs, bees, snails, ducks, cats and other animals are incredibly cute. See how easy it is to make a picture with a hedgehog as a craft from seeds.

  1. Print your hedgehog design or draw your own.
  2. Apply a good layer of glue on its back and begin gradually attaching seeds to it (this could be watermelon seeds or sunflower seeds).
  3. You need to glue the seeds so that they are all directed with sharp tips in one direction.
  4. The rest of the hedgehog's body can simply be painted, and mushrooms or fruits made from plasticine can be attached to the thorns.

But what an interesting picture you can create with a peacock using watermelon seeds, as well as semolina and corn grits.

  1. We draw a peacock on thick paper or print a ready-made template (even ordinary coloring will do).
  2. Glue the round ends of the feathers with glue and cover them with corn grits. Do the same with the bird's legs.
  3. When it dries a little, shake off the remnants from the sheet.
  4. Decorate the feathers with watermelon seeds, gluing each one tightly.
  5. After a while, cover with glue the entire remaining image of the peacock, except for the head, and cover it with semolina, while clearing the contours with a toothpick.
  6. The head can be painted, and the picture can be decorated at your discretion. As you can see, crafts made from watermelon seeds are very simple.

A picture of cereals, seeds, grains, pasta looks original. The material can be dyed or used in natural colors. With the help of cereals, you can create a floral plot, landscape, abstraction and even a portrait. It is better to create cereal pictures with children. First, fine motor skills and dexterity of the fingers develop. Secondly, fantasy, imagination is enriched, new creative abilities are formed.

Small craft

For work, you will need thick cardboard, chipboard or fiberboard, plywood. On this basis, use a pencil to draw an image of a flower in a circle or a circle with an hourglass. Any abstract plot can be transferred. For example, a lot of crossed circles or squares.

If you don't know how to draw, then print a template of any picture. It is better to take a photo for a stained glass painting, where the plot is already divided into color pieces. The printout should be the size of the picture, if it is not - transfer the picture to the base. The color template will work if you use cereals in the same color scheme.

To get pictures from seeds and cereals, the base is covered with PVA glue and sprinkled with grains. Start by defining the boundary, then the center is easier to fill. Small grains (millet, semolina, rice, rolled oats) can be sprinkled on the glue by a handful, and large grains (beans, millet, lentils, peas, corn) should be glued by hand. To make the panel look even, it is better to use tweezers.

Each area must be glued with cereals separately. If you are sprinkling a painting, then leave it for a few minutes to set the glue, then turn the work over. Excess material will fall off. Next, go to the next section: cover with glue, sprinkle with grains again.

Cover the finished work with a white sheet of paper, place oppression on top, leave for several days. This is especially important if the painting is stored without glass. Cover with varnish last, and hang on the wall after a few days.

Children's paintings

Children can create beautiful artwork too. Prepare seeds, cereals, cardboard, glue, paints, brush, template. The smaller the child, the larger the material (beans, pumpkin seeds) should be. For older children, seeds of tomato, pepper, flowers, poppy are suitable. The material should be selected in accordance with the plot, then you get an original picture of cereals. The child will be happy to create it with his own hands!

Print any picture, stick it on cardboard. Now cover the surface with glue. Take pumpkin seeds, apply them tightly to each other. Sprinkle a handful of tomato seeds. Leave the work to dry.

Now you can paint the picture with gouache. In this case, gaps may remain in the work. If you want to get more accurate pictures, then paint the seeds in advance with gouache or acrylic paints. Also paint the template with the same colors or print on a color printer. When the work dries up, frame it. To do this, you can buy a ready-made photo frame or make it yourself from scrap material.

How do-it-yourself paintings are made from cereals: a master class

The panel can be made according to the principle of woolen paintings. Find a photo of the landscape and use it to pick up the cereal, which you initially paint in the desired color. Grease the cardboard with glue and layers of multi-colored semolina to create the sky, sea, grass, road. Leave to dry. After a while, turn the work over so that the excess cereal crumbles.

Next, move on to the next layer. Lay out the gulls with tweezers with rice, make bushes and trees from dyed millet, poppy (can be replaced with bell seeds). Now lay out the side trunks of trees from acacia seeds, millet. Make foliage from different grains and small seeds.

The cereal picture is almost ready. Sprinkle grass on the sides of the road. Leave the work to dry out (preferably under pressure). Then prepare the frame. If you take ready-made, then decorate it with cereals or pasta in accordance with the landscape. Or make it out of cardboard. Cut out the base with a mat, paint, decorate with cereals. Next, glue the base, picture and mat to each other, attach a loop.

Owl

For this work, you will need white and black beans, green and yellow peas, sunflower seeds, yellowish rice, buckwheat. Draw an owl on a branch on cardboard. Make the pupils from black beans, gluing them in the middle (white beans). The whites of the eyes will be white beans, and the borders will be pasted over with black beans.

The nose, paws will be from yellow peas, wings, and the head will be from sunflower seeds. Fill the rest of the space with rice and buckwheat. On the breast on top of the cereal, glue a couple of feathers (seeds). The branch can be made from buckwheat, the leaves can be made from green peas. Paint the background with blue gouache.

To make the picture of cereals fit into the interior, make an appropriate frame. Garnish with beans, corn, or peas. Use macaroni, gold or silver acrylic paints to create a specific pattern, like a baguette frame. Cover the frame and painting with varnish.

Panel from cereals using plasticine

Small seeds develop fingers, but it is difficult for children to work with PVA glue and cereals. They do not distribute the glue over the entire surface of the pattern, which is why bumps and voids appear. In addition, their crafts quickly crumble. In this case, it is better to replace the glue with plasticine, clay or a quickly hardening mass.

Use very thick cardboard or thin chipboard. Draw a drawing with all the lines. Take plasticine according to the color of the cereal or under the background of the plot. Distribute it first along the lines and border of some area. For example, apply plasticine to the middle of the flower. Attach from the outer edge by pressing in the yellow corn kernels.

Next, the second circle is black beans or watermelon seeds. Fill the middle with buckwheat. Then distribute the plasticine along the lines of the petals, laying them out with black seeds, and fill the rest of the space with red grains of corn.

Extraordinary pictures of cereals and seeds are obtained from natural material, it is not at all difficult to make them with your own hands, especially if you take materials such as dried flowers, berries, leaves. These works should also be varnished, decorated and hung on the wall.

"Groats" portrait

Professionals create portraits from pasta, cereals, grains, seeds. To do this, you need to choose a material that is the same thickness. For example, pasta and legumes, oval volumetric flower seeds, corn. You need to find as many shades and shapes as possible.

The photo should be transferred to cardboard or plate. Some masters do the following: apply translucent paper to a photo or computer monitor, reduce the image, tracing lines and light spots.

Next, glue is applied and the grains are glued, starting from the eyes, eyebrows, mouth, nose. Combine large and small beans to fill the entire face. Pay attention to the slope of the grains. If you put everything in a certain direction, and then change the line, then you will emphasize the necessary features. When uploading a portrait, be sure to rely on the original.

After the face, hair, clothes are laid out, fill in the background. Paint some parts over time. For example, eyes, pupil, eyelashes, mouth, dimples on the cheeks. A picture of cereals with your own hands is almost done. Then you need to apply several layers of colorless varnish. Be sure to make the frame using the same material (pasta, beans). In this case, purchase paint and varnish in spray cans.

Another way of making portraits

Some masters use small grits for making portraits, using bead technology as a basis. If you paint the millet in the desired color, then you can lay out any pictures according to the patterns for embroidery. But there is another technology that is used to create icons.

Master class: paintings from cereals

Cereal paintings are interesting for their technology, unusual because of the material and are unique in the interior. Try your hand at simple subjects and then move on to portraits.

It is known that the development of a child's fine motor skills directly affects his speech and mental development, therefore, in order for a child to develop correctly, you need to constantly occupy his playful hands with something. Today we will make crafts from cereals and seeds. They are textured, they are different, they are small and are excellent for the development of motor skills. One problem is that seeds and cereals do not adhere well to ordinary paper glue, they will fall off, so we glue it on plasticine or take glue "for wood and plastic". Beans, beans, rice and buckwheat, peas, sunflower seeds and pumpkins - any seeds and cereals that match our picture in color and size will be used.

Where to begin

If this is a craft - appliqué or relief on a flat surface, you need to prepare that very surface. Draw the contours of the craft on a sheet of cardboard. We spread everything inside the contour with plasticine. The larger the seeds, the thicker the layer of plasticine. Now you can gently, one at a time, stick the cereals or seeds. Pour small cereals onto the surface to be covered, and then lightly press into the plasticine.

They also make vases and pencil holders with seeds and cereals. Then you will need to stick around a tin or glass jar with plasticine, and then stick the seeds on it.

Cereals and seeds craft ideas

When the craft is ready, we will cover it with varnish, and it will not lose its appearance longer.

Making crafts from cereals with your own hands is much easier than it seems at first glance, it is interesting for both children and adults. The main advantage of cereal crafts is originality, because even adults will consider the finished work, peering into the details. Not everyone will be able to guess what material was used, especially when looking from afar. If the picture made with cereals hangs alongside the standard pictures, it will look brighter and more memorable.

Idea advantages

Originality is not the only reason to teach a child to do such crafts. Today, many parents from childhood teach children to use gadgets, so that they quickly master the technique, while mental development suffers, which directly depends on fine motor skills of the hands. Simply put, children are not accustomed to working with small details, because of this, their ability to learn and develop is rapidly falling.

Especially often such problems arise for families living in apartments, in such conditions children may not even have the opportunity to play in the sand. Caring parents understand how important it is to take care of the development of the child, so the idea of \u200b\u200bmaking crafts from cereals attracts them. A pleasant plus of this activity is that the finished work is a great option for a gift to grandmothers, grandfathers and other relatives, so that the child learns from childhood to please others.

Psychologists say that children with whom parents do handicrafts from an early age tend to learn new things faster in the future, perceive information, and develop. Even in adulthood, they will be helped by the perseverance, hard work and diligence acquired from childhood.

Where to begin?

First you need to make sure that the child is at the age when such an activity will be not only useful to him, but also interesting. Forcing children at a very young age to do something together is dangerous, as it can drown the desire to spend time with their parents in the future.

There are no specific age restrictions. Every kid has a moment when he begins to take an active interest in drawing: a pack of blank paper can be enough for a day, while the young "artist" notes on the wallpaper and other furniture in the house. This is the time to channel the child's energy into creative development.

At the same time, children who go to kindergarten and primary school also have a need to develop fine motor skills and perseverance. It happens that a child seems to be an uncreative person - nothing connected with drawing arouses his interest. Then the parents have to invent something, an original idea will be crafts from cereals.

The first thing to start with is to choose the right cereal. It is better not to be guided by the principle of "what is not a pity", but to think about how it will be more convenient for the child to work.

The main rule for choosing a material is that the finer the better.

Using one cereal will be boring, so after coming up with an idea for a drawing, you need to choose different options. You can paint the selected material in different colors, some people like to paint semolina. You also need to prepare a flat surface, it can be a part of the table or a tray, a dish, another flat vessel.

Templates

Preparing a template is a parent's task, because a child cannot cope with it. The final appearance of the finished work will depend on the chosen and drawn template. It is important that the drawing consists of large parts, it is necessary to calculate that there are no more of them than the available variations of different croup.

Advice

The easiest way is to pick up a drawing from coloring pages or children's books than to invent one yourself. Most coloring pages designed for children under 3 years old contain just simple pictures with large details, they can simply be redrawn.

Together with the choice of a template, you need to prepare a base, it can be anything:

Of course, the more complex the base, the more difficult it is to apply the pattern, so if you are practicing the craft for the first time, it is best to use thick cardboard. Such a base will need PVA glue and a brush to apply it.

An alternative to gluing the cereal is to press it into the clay. This technique also looks bright and original, but still, for the first time, it is better to do with gluing, and then experiment.

How to do it?

Let's look at an example of how to embody the ideas of the applique pattern. The whole process of making crafts consists of several stages:

Choosing and printing a template... This method of preparing a template is the simplest, on the Internet you can find many simple drawings with large details and print them. You can use other methods - redraw, and if you have artistic inclinations, even draw by hand, but it is important to try to keep the contours and lines as even as possible.

We prepare cereals... To do this, we think over what detail will be made with what material, if necessary, paint the groats in the desired color. It is important that all material is dry by the time the work is done.

We transfer the printed template to a dense base... You can leave it on a regular sheet of paper, but in this case, the drawing will be untidy and can quickly tear. It is best to use cardboard, plain or colored.

Moving on to the main part... We smear part of the drawing with a brush with glue, then spread grains on this area, one piece at a time. If the child is at an age that can use tweezers, it is best to use them.

We start to do the work with large parts, end with small ones... You can decorate the background beautifully by adding additional elements: the sun, grass, a bird, depending on the drawing itself.

Blow off the remnants of cereals that accidentally fell on the drawing, leave it to dry... This may take about 10 minutes, if a lot of glue was applied, then more.

After that, you can use paints, this should be done if the cereal was not initially painted over, but there is such a need. It is also convenient to paint small details with paints.:

  • eyes;
  • buttons.

It is best to use acrylic paints.

After the work is completely dry, it can be hung in a frame or used as a decor in a children's room.

Advice

The most simple cereal to use is semolina. It is easy to paint, it is easy to apply, it adheres well to the little fingers of the child.

From cereals and pasta

Pasta is a great craft tool. Many people use them for various decorative purposes, for example, decorating a Christmas tree, making candlesticks, and many other crafts. And all because the variety of forms of pasta allows you to do this.

Such crafts are performed according to the same principle as just from cereals. To begin with, a template is selected, then the parent determines which parts of the drawing will be made with cereals, and which with pasta. Then, with the help of glue and a brush, first large, then small parts are painted one by one, the prepared material is glued.

However, some types of pasta are difficult to glue due to their weight, so the material chosen for the basis of such an applique must be durable, plain paper will definitely not work, and if you choose cardboard, it is hard. If you cannot glue the product, you can sew it on. Pasta shaped like wheels, spirals look beautiful, you can simply grab them with a few stitches of a needle and thread.

Of course, parents do this part of the process, especially if the children are very young. If the child is already entering school, then doing such a craft may be a suitable excuse to teach the child how to use a needle. Usually pasta is attached to the finished drawing at the very end of the work.

The advantage of pasta is that it is easy to paint it in the desired color. Therefore, when doing a cereal craft, think about what you can decorate in it and try using pasta for this.

If you've chosen a puppy template, why not add a leash with a "badge" wheel-shaped macaroni leash, or why not use them to button the snowman.

Advice

Many stores sell colorful pasta - they look great for crafts.

Crafts-ornaments for hair from pasta

Pasta can be used not only with cereals, but also as the main material for work. Pasta manufacturers seem to be specially developing a beautiful design so that craftsmen can use them not only for cooking.

Hair ornaments with pasta look especially original. Few people will guess how they were made, but no child will definitely have the same accessory. There are several options for using pasta to make jewelry:

1 Hoop... All you need to do is buy a single-color bezel, it should not be too thin so that the pattern can fit on it. The pasta in the form of spikelets glued along the entire length looks beautiful, especially if they are pre-painted in silver or gold.

2 Crown... Using the same solid color bezel, you can make a crown for a little princess. To do this, you need to pick up several types of pasta, it is convenient to use wheels of different sizes. You need to design the shape in advance, and then glue them in rows.

3 Small hairpins... A suitable form of pasta for this is bows, they can be decorated in any color, even with patterns. After that, the bow is attached to the invisibility or a small hairpin with glue so that it cannot be seen.

You can prepare several hairpins for different outfits. Under a blue dress with white polka dots, make a bow of this color, under a striped one - a striped one, and so on. The young fashionista will be delighted with such an abundance of jewelry.

Pasta accessories

Not only hair jewelry can be made from pasta. Everything that girls love to wear, beads, bracelets, earrings, can be made from this material. How much joy the child will have if the parents do not just buy jewelry in the store, but take the time to make it on their own with the children.

The easiest way to make beads is from pasta of such a shape, which is strung on a string. You can use different types by painting them in different colors. It is important that the thread is strong, if it is thick and looks ugly from under the "beads", you need to match it in color or just dye it.

Beads with pasta in the form of bows look beautiful. It is impossible to string them on a string, therefore such work is more painstaking and takes more time.

Advice

Each bow must be tied in the middle with a thread, fastened to a knot, then move on to the next.

Beads and bracelets can be made by combining pasta with regular beads. You can arrange not only one thing, but a whole set, supplementing it with a hairpin in the same style. Such sets of "jewelry" look stylish and original.

Christmas crafts

The easiest way to use cereal for New Year's crafts is to make New Year's cards with your child, which he can give on his behalf to relatives and friends. To do this, you need to choose a simple pattern for a picture on the New Year's theme, print, transfer to cardboard, arrange with cereals.

A common idea is a Christmas tree. You can draw it yourself without using a template. Selected small cereals must be painted green in advance, allowed to dry and used for drawing, in this case it consists of one large part. You can decorate the tree with beautifully shaped pasta, for example, bows.

Small crafts that can be hung on a wall, window, Christmas tree look original. To do this, you need to cut out New Year's figures from cardboard. You can make many different designs and hang them together like a solid garland. Good options would be:

  • mitten;
  • skates;
  • felt boots;
  • christmas decorations.

It is easy to draw and cut along the contour of all these figures, and you can decorate with cereals in different ways, because each of them is one continuous detail. For example, a mitten can be made "fur" from rice, and the rest - from any other cereal. If there are many children in the family, such an idea would be especially good options, because each child will be able to show creativity, sometimes parents themselves wonder how much little dreamers can come up with.

Christmas decorations from cereals

The typical glass Christmas tree decorations are a thing of the past, and there are many creative ideas that can be used. One of the most popular is the use of cereals... For many, it is surprising that it is possible not only to decorate a finished ball with it, but to make it from scratch.

Such a craft will not take much time, if at first glance the idea seems complicated, just try it. Manufacturing takes place in several stages:

  • We take a newspaper, roll it into a ball. How much material to take depends on the size of the expected toy. If you are doing it for the first time, you should not immediately make a large one, but you do not need a very small one either - it will be inconvenient to hold it in your hands.
  • We give the ball the correct round shape using threads. To do this, you just need to start winding them in a circle, periodically changing direction, as if rolling into a ball. When the shape is even, we fix the ends of the thread, making a small knot.
  • We prepare the cereal, which we will use for decor, pour it into a plate. Buckwheat toys look smart.
  • Spread PVA glue on top of the threads with a brush, wrap it in a plate. If there are empty places to which grains have not attached, grease them with dotted glue and add them with tweezers.
  • We take a spray paint, preferably golden in color, spray the toy, leave it to dry. It is desirable to match the color of the spray to the color of the cereal used, gold looks good on buckwheat, silver on rice and semolina.

Advice

Some believe that it is not profitable to do such crafts, because you have to spend money. In fact, one can of spray paint will last for several years, and if you have small children, you can think of what crafts to use it in.

Christmas tree made of pasta

When there are small children in the house, it is the responsibility of parents to create a New Year's atmosphere on the eve of their favorite children's holiday. Every child will appreciate if parents take the time to put not only a living Christmas tree, but also small Christmas trees throughout the house. You won't need a lot of materials for this, everyone has most of them.

There are several options for making a pasta tree. Simple, but at the same time beautiful, it is on cardboard or any thick paper. The product is carried out in several stages:

  • We make the base of the tree. To do this, we take a cardboard box, fold it into a cone shape, grease the edges with glue, press it tightly, leave it to dry. It is necessary to check that the figure is stable, some for this glue its edges to another cardboard, but this is not necessary.
  • Pasta is used as branches, it is best to take those that have an oblong shape, spirals, short spaghetti. We begin to glue from the bottom row, grease the edge of each pasta with glue, press down and release after a few seconds. You need to try to glue them as close to each other as possible so that there is no gap left.

Advice

A good option for the base would be green cardboard, painted in the same shade as the pasta. Then even if there are empty spaces, they will not stand out much.

  • When gluing the last row of pasta, it is necessary to position them so that the edges are connected to each other.
  • We paint the Christmas tree green, if we have not previously painted them before. To do this, you can use spray paint, and other festive colors - gold, silver - also look original.
  • We decorate the Christmas tree, since it is not real, then the toys should be special. You can use other curly pasta, bows, shells, spirals, painted in different colors with gouache. You can also decorate the Christmas tree with any New Year's tinsel, rain, and for these purposes, the remains of decorations that will not be useful anywhere are suitable.
