Cosmonautics Day

Almost half a century ago, April 12, 1961., for the first time an orbital flight of a spacecraft with a man on board was made. The first cosmonaut to visit near-earth space was Yuri Alekseyevich Gagarin.

From that date, the countdown of the triumphal procession began aviation and astronautics, as well as the amazing advances in technology sent into space - satellites, moon rovers, rockets, spacecraft and stations. The day of this flight was the date of a powerful breakthrough in space exploration.

Celebrating this day, you can not only remember everyone who worked and are working to this day for the common good of mankind, but also create mock-ups of aircraft and spacecraft, make a doll or depict on paper in different techniques an astronaut in a spacesuit hovering in airless space or studying other worlds, to draw the fantastic beauty of the cosmic sky and much more, allowing you to visually demonstrate and teach the younger generation ...

Master Class

Master Class (MK) - This is the transfer of his professional experience by the master (teacher), his consistent verified actions leading to a predetermined result.

To publish a master class, the work must be author's (invented and done by you). If you used someone else's idea, you must indicate the author. (The link to the source should not lead to a site containing the sale of goods or services, since links to commercial sites are prohibited in accordance with clause 2.4. PS).

Your master class should not completely duplicate the one already available in the Land of Masters. Before publishing, check through the search that there are no similar MKs on the site.

The process should be photographed in stages (see Tips for taking pictures of crafts) or filmed (see how to upload a video).

The order of registration: the first photo is the finished work that is proposed to be performed, the second photo is the materials and tools necessary for the work (or their detailed description), then the MC stages from the first to the last. The final photo (the result of the work) can repeat the very first one. Photos should be accompanied by clear and competent comments on the process.

If you have already published your MK on another site and you also want to publish it with us, then you need to follow all the rules for designing an MK described above. In other words: in an entry with an MK type, you cannot just put a photo of the finished product and a link to a master class on another website.

Attention: all master classes in the Land of Masters are checked by the site's assistants. If the requirements of the Master Class section are not met, the type of entry will be changed. If the User Agreement of the site is violated, for example, copyright is violated, the record will be removed from publication.

So, creating with a child, you can tell him about the structure of our Universe, about the difficulties that astronauts have to face, and about rocketry.

- this is the main means of space exploration. This can be clearly displayed on the application, the main objects of which will be a spaceship and our planet Earth. To make the picture brighter and more interesting, we complement it with decorative foil stars.

Look at the video on how to make a very bright and colorful craft on the theme of space:

In the form of an applique, you can create an image of yourself. And so that the child can dream and imagine himself in the role of an astronaut, you can place his photo in the window.

It is very interesting for children to hear about the space feat of our Soviet hero dogs Belka and Strelka. And making an applique with them will bring great joy.

Using the applique technique, you can make an amazingly beautiful outer space with planets from stars.

Application "outer space"

Younger children can be encouraged to assemble an image of a rocket from pre-prepared templates - for example, by correctly distributing and gluing round windows and flames.

A space rocket can be made from ordinary plasticine.

A very beautiful rocket is made from salt dough.

Children are usually interested in learning that a rocket is a very large spacecraft that, after being launched into space, is almost always out of Earth's orbit. And the supplies of food to the astronauts on board are delivered by a small pilot-controlled spacecraft - a shuttle.

Suggest making your shuttle out of toilet paper: by flattening it a little from the sides, you get the ship's hull, which needs to be glued to the wings. The model turns out to be voluminous, and if you carefully cut through the hatch in the upper part, the child can put his toy in the space shuttle.

You can also make a rocket from a roll, just attach the cone-shaped top and cardboard wings.

Another option for a space rocket is to make it out of corrugated paper.

No rocket can fly without a pilot - this is its main difference from a satellite. The pilot of a spaceship is called an astronaut, and what makes him recognizable is, of course, a suit - a spacesuit.

You can offer the child to glue the cosmonaut's spacesuit, having previously drawn it and cut it out. For younger children, we offer to glue the templates prepared in advance, and then color them.

A truly cosmic portrait of an astronaut is obtained from painted silver. To make it look like a spaceship, we pierce the edge with a hole punch and attach metal elements to it.

In various ways, you can depict the expanses that cosmonauts plow on their ships.

Taking a cardboard circle as a basis, you can make a model of the galaxy, replacing the planets with soft pom-poms of different colors and sizes.

It is convenient to use foam or plastic balls as planets. Such a model will become even more spectacular if you place a bright yellow hemisphere - the Sun - in the center of it.

Or you can simply make small celestial bodies - stars - in the usual way for children, from five crossed rays. Interesting stars are obtained from covered with silvery or golden sparkles.

A very effective flying saucer can be made from cardboard packaging from under melted cheese, a plastic bottle and wooden sticks.

And here is a wonderful space drawing illustrating the most vivid space images: a rocket, earth, moon, sun and other mysterious and magical space bodies.

Such children, made with their own hands from different materials for creativity, will certainly ignite in children an interest in exploring the unknown and develop their creative abilities.

Good afternoon, dear friends, very soon the whole country will celebrate a magnificent holiday dedicated to the Day of Cosmonautics. This topic fascinates and intrigues not only adults but also children.

There is a reason to do a little DIY craft with your child for Cosmonautics Day. Below is a list of what you can do and how to do it. Small crafts that will not be difficult to collect from available tools that can be found at home. There are various ideas for crafts, both simpler and more complex. I tried to collect the most original crafts for almost any age. So you will have plenty to choose from.

Of course, the main idea for crafts is a rocket and everything connected with it. It was on our rocket assembled in our country that Yuri Gagarin made his first flight into open space. The flight was made on April 12, 1961. Since then, humanity has made great strides in the development of the space industry. But it all started with small models assembled at home. So we will join the general topic. Next, we will try to properly prepare for the victory day on May 9. By this date, another article will be released about what crafts can be done for this, I will not be afraid of this word, the Great Holiday.

And so let's start with the simplest things that can be done simply and quickly without much effort.
You will need heavy cardboard or a roll of toilet paper or paper towels. Colored paper, scissors and glue.

In order for your rocket to stand confidently on the table, we will attach it to a small stand. The stand will also act as motors.

If you wish, you can make a larger rocket. To do this, you will need more cardboard, but the best building materials for home rockets are, of course, cardboard boxes.

And you can also assemble a 3-D drawing from such missiles.

Or to assemble such a large rocket using plastic bottles as a building material. Cut a few pieces and put together.

Well, if you devote a little more time to the assembly. Then you can collect just such a beauty. Almost a real model.

Also, together with the rocket, try to build a flying saucer with aliens. Plastic or cardboard plates are great for construction.

Your old CDs or DVDs can be excellent material for flying saucers.

It is not difficult to make the aliens themselves out of disks and caps from kindersurprise. Glue the cap to the disc and insert the beaded skewers as legs.
Ordinary paper clips are perfect for making alien tentacles.

Of course, every flying saucer has a cockpit, we will make it out of a plastic cup by putting the pilot in the cockpit. And we will make a plate from two disposable plates by gluing them together.

Well, of course, where without good old plasticine. I think we all made just masterpieces from him.

As you can see, the simplest and most common things can be used as a building material. But what beautiful crafts are obtained and I think that not only you and your child will like them.

And if you want to do something on a larger scale, see what you can do with a little imagination.

By the day of Cosmonautics, you can build not only a rocket or a saucer, you can make an entire planet. Here's an example of how to create jupiter from papemache.

Or create a whole universe out of plasticine. By the way, you can collect several new planets and name them after mom or dad.

Craft ideas for kindergarten

Now let's take a closer look at several crafts for young children, namely about preschoolers from kindergarten. Here you can build both rockets and beautiful pictures using the applique.
The simplest and most inexpensive is modeling of Martians from plasticine.

You can also split a group into multiple creative cells.

Next, the application is a rocket. You will need several sheets of colored paper, scissors and glue.

In order to assemble the flying saucer, take two plastic or paper plates, glue them together with the convex side outward. Color them in any shape. Here, of course, every child can show their imagination.
Next, we blind the passenger from plasticine. And we put it in the cockpit made of a plastic cup. Which we will attach with glue.

Now we will make a rocket where you can make a child as astronauts. You will need colored paper or fet.

We glue the blanks on a sheet of cardboard to make a rocket, and glue the child's photo into the window. This is the kind of beauty it turns out.

You can even make a group flight into space.

But this rocket is made using the quilling technique. This is when objects are collected from strips of paper rolled into a spiral.

You can also print the outlines of the missiles and give them to children to paint them with paints as they wish.
The result of all the crafts is, of course, an exhibition of works.
Here is an example of the walls of a newspaper from rockets that kids made in kindergarten.

The simplest paper and cardboard crafts

Well, of course, the simplest thing you can think of is to take a regular coloring and make an excellent picture out of it using felt-tip pens or paints.

And using colored paper and colored cardboard, you can assemble your own universe.

Making beautiful crafts for school

For the school, of course, you already need something more complicated. Therefore, for the day of cosmonautics, this time we will build not a rocket, not a plate, but such an alien made of foil.

Also for the school, you can make a homemade satellite of the earth from improvised means. How to do this watch the video clip in which the assembly process is described in detail.

There is a great idea for a space theme composition. To do this, take a small cardboard box and prepare it by painting it in a suitable background.
Cut and paste the stars out of the glue.
Find something semicircular and wrap it in foil. It will be a small space flying object.
Next, using plasticine, we will attach improvised antennas and solar panels to it.
Let's build a rocket out of cardboard and colored paper. Let's make 1-2 astronauts from foil.
And then we place all the objects made on our space surface.

Or you can sculpt astronauts from the TV series Barboskins entirely from plasticine.

But these characters can be made from cardboard and ordinary cans.

Make a space applique and decorate it with a beautiful pasta frame.

Try to mold the planets from plasticine by placing them on a beautiful stand.

Or such a picture can turn out from the same plasticine.

Cool works from the land of masters

I suggest looking at pictures on the topic of crafts for the Day of Cosmonautics. Pictures are taken from the site of the Country of Masters. Perhaps they will push you to create something similar.

Get a clean plastic lid from sour cream or other dairy product. Print a beautiful space background on your printer. Mark a circle for the inside diameter of the lid.

Cut out a circle from the space printout and glue it onto the plastic cover.

Take brown, gray and golden plasticine. Crumple the clay into a layer and lay the three colors on top of each other.

Combine the colors so that you get an interesting combination with stains.

Place a layer of the resulting plasticine on the bottom of the background. Using a stack, distribute the clay and make an uneven edge.

Take brown, pink-purple and yellow plasticine, lay on top of each other, as in the picture.

From the resulting combination, make a thin plasticine layer.

Tear the layer into small angular pieces. Decorate the mountain range on one side of the planet.

Use a toothpick to emboss the mountains. Take gray, silver and pink plasticine.

Crumple the gray plasticine into a layer and cut out the rocket with nail scissors, as in the picture.

Make the turbines, portholes, and the rocket top out of silvery plasticine. Stick the parts to the rocket. Make stripes of blue, white and pink plasticine and design a kind of flag on the rocket.

Use a toothpick to make a pattern on the rocket.

Mix yellow, red and golden plasticine.

Decorate the flames of fire emanating from the rocket turbines.

Combine several colors of plasticine to create a beautiful combination. Shape the clay into a planet.

Stick the planet to the top edge of the magnet.

Mix silver and gold plasticine and form a ring around the planet.

Select the rings with a toothpick.

Combine brown and orange plasticine and shape a comet. Use orange and purple plasticine to create a glowing trail.

Make a thin black roller for the flagpole. Make a Russian flag and connect with a flagpole.

Take a round flat magnet.

Glue the magnet to the back of the plastic cover.

The space magnet is ready!

Fantastic! What a wonderful magnet from the usual materials and plasticine we have made! Such a handmade souvenir will become an adornment in the collection of fridge magnets.

In our material you will find the most interesting ideas for crafts on the theme of "Space" that a child can do with his own hands for projects at school or for independent study of the Universe.

The mysterious space and everything connected with it has always fascinated both adults and children. Is there life on Mars, why the stars shine, how to fly to the Moon -. If your child likes this topic, involve him in a more detailed study of space. They will serve as a wonderful start. And so that the study of your favorite topic does not turn into boring, invite your child to make interesting crafts about space for school with their own hands.

Such children's crafts about space with their own hands have not only a learning effect, but are also great for concentrating the attention of a student. With their help, you will be good at acting out stories from, the child will learn more about the solar system and will be able to perfectly prepare for thematic lessons at school. Just imagine the joy of a child when his craft about space at school gets a lot of praise!

How the solar system works: a cheat sheet for children's crafts to school on the topic of Space

Tell your child how the solar system works: which planets are included in it, how far is the Earth from the Sun. Let the child gradually memorize the names of all the planets. Don't rush - it will take time.

Crafts for children on the topic Do-it-yourself "Cosmos"

If nothing worked out with the foam, you can draw the planets on cardboard and place them in the same way as the foam ones, as shown in the pictures above.

Planets are an unconditional element of any craft about space. It will not be difficult to make such planets out of threads. You will find step-by-step instructions and what you need for the craft in our master class on how to do it, because the principle is the same.

Saturn from a styrofoam ball and an old CD - a great idea for a small do-it-yourself space craft. The main thing- find at least one old disk at home.

An interesting mobile made of felt planets, stars and a spaceship will become an entertaining DIY craft for a child about space, because it will take time and patience. And such a mobile will be a wonderful decoration in the room. If it is difficult for a child to cope, let him build a similar mobile out of paper.

What about a soft solar system? It is very pleasant to hold such pom-pom planets in your hands and just carry them to school for lessons. - do not wrinkle and easily fit into a backpack. , read the link.

Imitating the surface of the earth - a very beautiful and uncomplicated craft. A child can make it as a craft on the topic of space, because the Earth- this is one of the planets of the solar system, or as a craft to school on Earth Day. See the master class on how to do it, here.

Every space lover dreams of flying there one day. But while your child is just mastering the basics of space exploration, invite him to make just such a rocket. And a great toy, and an incentive for a future profession!

Studying space, you simply cannot do without stars and constellations. Having made a similar craft with a child from toilet paper rolls, rubber bands and cut out paper constellation diagrams, it will be more interesting to study astronomy. Pierce the black dots on the diagrams with a needle, stick it over the black paper on the sleeve and secure with an elastic band. The child can look into the sleeve like a telescope, or illuminate the holes from the inside with a flashlight. You can download the constellation diagrams here.

It is very simple to make a craft on the topic of space and planets with your own hands, which you can also wear on yourself. This is especially true for girls. You will need beads of different sizes and colors. If the beads of the desired colors are not available, do not let the child get upset, because they can always be repainted.

Now, when a child needs to do a craft on the topic of space with his own hands to school, you do not have to puzzle all evening over what and how to build. And here, for some reason, we are sure that these crafts with our own hands will captivate not only children, but also adults. Make interesting crafts with your child, watch educational cartoons, read and discover the secrets of our Universe together!
