  6. We measure a piece of tape equal in length and width to the dimensions of the rim. We glue it on the inside;
  7. As soon as the glue dries a little, carefully adjust the ears and set them aside until completely dry.

Fleece or felt

This is a simple but very practical option. These ears can be used for many years, and then presented to your little sister. They keep well, do not wrinkle. They are easy to clean with a small brush.

You will need:

  • medium width plastic headband;
  • felt or thick fleece that matches the suit color;
  • pink felt or fleece;
  • sharp scissors;

  1. On a sheet of paper folded in half, draw an ear pattern. This should be done so that the base of the ear falls on the uncut side. Cut out a pattern;
  2. We lay out the material from which we will make ears on the table. We circle the pattern, cut it out. We prepare two details that look like petals. If you fold them in half, you get a cat's ear;
  3. We trim the bezel with fabric of the same color as the ear blanks. This operation can be omitted if the bezel matches the color of the ears;
  4. We mark the places where the ears will be. Wraps the workpieces around it. Lightly grease with glue, make sure that the substance soaks into the material. Then, fold the workpiece so that you get an ear;
  5. We sew each workpiece first along the rim, then along the perimeter;

  2. We put the pattern on the fur from the seamy side. We fix it with a safety pin. We cut out two fur blanks. We put the same pattern on the lining fabric. The lining can be white, gray, pink, light brown. Cut out two parts from the lining fabric;
  3. We fold one fur and one fabric part with the right side to each other. We sew them on a typewriter. You need to sew on the sides of the triangle, leaving the base not sewn;
  4. We turn out both blanks and insert triangles of the appropriate size cut from the filler inside;
  5. Sew up the base of the ears with a needle. We sew the blanks to the base. You can lay a small fold or wrap the ears a little inward to more resemble the shape of a cat's ear.

We coat the felt from the inside with glue along the edge of the parts. We apply the blanks of the ears to the rim, bending around it. We glue the blanks. We make felt roses and felt or paper leaves. We glue it to the felt with glue.

Cat ears made of wire and beads - step by step master class

The next master class will be more difficult than the previous ones. We will make cat ears from beads and wire.

For work you will need:

  1. Crystal beads 6/8 mm. - 8 pieces.
  2. Beads white 6 mm. - 42 pcs.
  3. The rim is narrow.
  4. Wire 0.3 mm. for beading.

We fix the wire on the rim, twisting it several times.

We string 10 white beads on it and fix them by winding the pr-ku around the rim.

Insert the wire into the 1st bead and string 5 white beads.

Between the 3rd and 4th beads of the base, we fix the shape that has turned out.

We fix the latter by passing the wire into the last bead of the base. Then we wrap the wire around the rim 1 time and bring the wire up for a new level. In a new row, between the peaks of the 1st row, we fix 3 beads so that every second bead is crystal.

We look at the photo.

In order to fix the wire, we make a knot. A knot from a pr-ki is made in the same way as if instead of a pr-ki there was a simple thread.

Then we simply bring the pr-ku to the crystal bead. We string 3 beads.

Almost done.

We make a knot in order to fix the pr-ku. Add 1 more white - crystal - 1 white.

We make the second ear in the same way as the first. That's all. Very festive ears turned out.

  1. Faux fur, preferably long-piled or velvet.
  2. Pink or beige fabric or suede for the inner ear.

Let's take this pattern as a basis. The first is a fur piece, the second is suede or fabric for the inner part of the ear. The third is an almost finished ear that needs to be stitched and turned out. Please note: the fur detail should be 1-1.5 cm longer than the suede one. With this fur, we will bend around the rim.

  • The wire should not be thin and flexible. Divide the wire into 2 pieces of 22 cm. 10 cm is the height of one ear.
  • We bend the wire so that it repeats the shape of the ear. Do not forget that the ears still have to be sewn together.
  • We put the suede part on the fur one (see the overlay of parts). Parts should lie with their front sides facing inward.
  • We sew 2 parts of the ear on the wrong side, stepping back from the edge 0.8-1 cm.
  • We turn it out there. We insert the wire inside. We fill with padding polyester or fur trimmings.
  • We have an unprocessed bottom of the ear. Fold the eyelet in half. We hide all the ugly places inside. We bend the rim with the lower strip of fur and sew the bottom of the ear with threads to the rim.
  • The ears are ready. If desired, they can be made smaller or larger. Bright colored faux fur looks beautiful. In addition to everything, this accessory is decorated with bells or flowers.

Both children and adults love these headbands. Mouse ears are not difficult to do.

  • We draw a pattern from paper (for the circumference of the ear, you can take a mug of the desired diameter). We put the pattern on felt or cardboard. We outline and cut out (photo 1).
  • There should be 2 such parts in total. If you want to make the inside of the ear pink, cut out 2 pink circles from cardboard or felt and glue it on 2 parts of the ears (photo 2).
  • Cut 2 large parts into 4 small ones (photo 3).
  • We glue the ears themselves.
  • We glue the bottom, leaving room to thread the rim.
  • We put the ears on the bezel. Glue a bow or flower on top.

We bend two symmetrical ears of the desired size from the wire.

Place the beads carefully on the wire. When using second-hand glue, it is better to immediately mark the specific points where the decor will be located, because after the glue has "set" it will be difficult to tear off the element fixed in the wrong place and it is even more difficult to clean the wire from the glue.

Then glue the ends of the wire to the rim. We cover it with pieces of leather or leatherette.
