Idea 4. Paper mini tree

Another winter craft idea for the little ones is paper Christmas trees. They are made very easily and quickly, and you can use them as you like: as a decoration for the same diorama, appliqué for a New Year's card or panel, to decorate a garland or a Christmas tree.

What you need:

A sheet of green paper and some brown paper for the trunk;
Glue stick;
Scissors;
Sequins, rhinestones, beads and other decorations for the Christmas tree.

Step 1. From a sheet of green paper, make a square by folding one corner of the sheet, as shown in the photo, and cutting out the excess.

Step 2. Cut one of the short sides of the triangle into equal narrow strips, not reaching the fold of about 1 cm (see photo above).

Step 3. Now straighten your workpiece and begin to alternately glue the ends of the strips to the center fold line, moving from bottom to top.

Step 4. When you fix all the stripes, bend and glue the bottom corner of the Christmas tree up. Further in the same place, but on the reverse side, glue a small rectangle (tree trunk) cut out of brown paper.

Step 5. Decorate the Christmas tree with colorful beads, sequins, buttons and other decorations. If you wish, you can make several of these Christmas trees, glue loops to them, so that you can then assemble a garland or decorate a real Christmas tree with crafts.

Idea 5. Snow globe ... more precisely, a bank

Now we offer to make a real souvenir with your own hands - a variation of a snow globe. True, it will be made from an ordinary glass jar. A child will be able to present a craft to a loved one, present it at a winter crafts competition, or simply leave it on a shelf for beauty.

What you need:

Glass jar with lid;
A piece of foam;
Glue (hot or "Moment");
Acrylic paint to decorate the lid (optional)
Artificial snow or just sea salt, sugar, grated white soap or polyethylene foam;
Figurines that will be placed in a jar;
Styrofoam balls or any white beads;
Fishing line;
Needle.

How to do it:

Step 1. Repaint the cover in the desired color and leave to dry. In this project, spray paint was used to remake the lid.

Step 2. While the paint dries, we will make a “snowfall”. To do this, you need to string several foam balls on a fishing line threaded into a needle. To attach the "snowflakes" to the jar, use adhesive tape.

Step 3. Circle the bottom of the jar directly on the foam, then use a knife to cut out the resulting circle from it. This circle will become the base for the figurines.

Step 4. Glue your figures to the foam circle, then glue the resulting composition to the bottom of the jar.

Step 5. Fill the jar with artificial or homemade snow, close it with a lid with snowflakes and enjoy the view of a winter fairy tale.

Idea 6. New Year's card

New Year's cards are never enough, so we suggest making a few with your child.

What you need:

Sheet of white paper;
A sheet of colored paper;
Scissors;
Glue stick;
Markers.

How to do it:

Step 1. Fold a sheet of white accordion paper three times so that each top layer of the accordion is smaller in width than the previous one.

Step 2. Straighten your harmonica, cut the sheet diagonally and slightly in waves as shown in the photo above, then reassemble the harmonica. You have a slope of a snow-covered mountain.

Step 3. Now take a sheet of colored paper, glue the blank on it and cut off the excess. Hooray! The postcard is almost ready.

Step 4. Decorate the mountain with Christmas trees, draw snowmen and skiers, and finally sign the card.

Dilute the paints in water. Remember that the solution must be quite saturated so that the finished figure is not pale, but bright.
Start painting the snow. It is convenient to paint a large area of one color from a spray gun. If it is a pity to smear the sprayer in paint, simply pour the solution into a plastic bottle and make more holes in its cap. Narrow stripes or inscriptions are best obtained with a small watering can with a thin spout. Paint complex elements with large brushes or a piece of foam rubber.

Pour 2-4 cm of water into a large jar and leave until frozen.

Dip the frozen form in warm water and carefully remove the jars.

Prepare a sufficient amount of long willow twigs. If there is no vine, you can use any even, flexible branches, for example, root shoots of maple, viburnum or lilac. The rods must be raw and flexible.
Bend one twig into a ring according to the diameter of the future ball and secure the ends with wire. Prepare 6-8 such rings.
Insert the rings one into the other, forming the outlines of a ball. Secure the intersections with wire.
With thinner twigs, braid the ball in different directions. Tuck the ends of the twigs inward so that they do not stick out.
The finished ball can be tied to a thread and hung on a tree or attached to a strong thin stick and stuck in a flower bed.

To create a snowman you will need:

a lot of transparent plastic bottles of the same size;
a coil of thin flexible wire or synthetic twine;
thick wire for the base;
strong scissors or a construction knife and an awl.

Stages of work:

First of all, make the frame of the snowman. For the large bottom ball, bend the pieces of wire in an arc, then stick them into the ground to form a dome.
For the snowman's head, bend 6-8 wire rings, insert them into each other to make the frame of the ball. Fasten the rings at the intersections.
Connect the upper and lower balls with wire and braid the frame sparsely with it for greater strength.
Cut off the bottoms of the bottles. To make the craft neat, all blanks must be the same height and diameter.
It is unlikely that you will be able to find the required number of white bottles, so the cut off bottoms will have to be painted. Use spray paint or regular enamel. If you decide to paint the blanks with enamel, then simply pour a little paint into each bottom and distribute it by tilting the blank from side to side.
Gather prepared bottle bottoms into long garlands. Pierce each blank on both sides with an awl and pass wire or strong synthetic twine through the holes.
Start shaping the snowman by wrapping the bottoms around the frame from bottom to top. To prevent the bottles from slipping, fix each turn with pieces of soft wire.
Draw the face and buttons for the finished snowman.

Tin cans from canned goods usually fly into the trash, but they are easy to turn into unusual street lanterns. The walls of the jars covered with a through pattern transmit light well and color the surrounding space with light spots.

To make lanterns from cans, prepare the following materials and tools:

small tin cans;
paint in a can;
wire;
a printout of a beautiful dot pattern to fit the jar or a hand-drawn drawing;
enough sand to fill the jars to the top;
hammer, nail;
tablet candles.

To prevent the tins from deforming during operation, fill them up to the top with sand, fill them with water and leave them overnight in the cold. The frozen mixture will prevent the walls from losing their shape when hammering.

Cover the work surface with an unnecessary rag. Using a nail and a hammer, punch holes in the jar along the outline of the pattern. At the top edge, make two holes for a loop through which the flashlight can be hung.
Wait for the tin to thaw, shake out the sand and dry the workpiece. Attach a wire loop to the top edge.
Cover the flashlight with 2-3 coats of spray paint and leave to dry.
Place a candle in the finished craft.

Take a glass jar with a volume of 0.2-0.5 liters. A jar can be either the most ordinary or curly, for example, from coffee. Wrap the neck with a wire loop and attach a loop to it for hanging.
Fold the garland loosely into the jar, leaving the end with the fork outside.

Wrap the selected form tightly and evenly with cling film in 5-6 layers. The more layers, the stronger the sculpture will be.
Stick 2-3 layers of adhesive tape on top of the film. It is more convenient to work with segments of 25-30 cm. Try to ensure that the tape lies flat and does not wrinkle.
With a construction knife or scissors with sharp ends, cut the workpiece and remove from the mold.
