Crafts made from natural material are lightweight. How to make a basket of cones. Methods and techniques

Hello subscribers!

It's bad weather outside, or maybe the sun is shining? It doesn't matter, because there is an unforgettable time of the year ahead of us. It will be in multi-colored colors and with many surprises, because autumn always presents us with its gifts. But, besides this, it also opens its natural wealth to us. That is why in schools and kindergartens, crafts are immediately made from natural materials, together with other components. It can be vegetables, as well as paper or plasticine and many others. other.

Children, well, they just adore all such creative work, because they get various funny toys that they can then play with.

In addition to all this, you can even take autumn leaves and fold masterpieces or bouquets from them and insert them into or make something. Well, that's not all, cool souvenirs come from ordinary bumps. So, if you're curious, take a moment and scroll through the entire note from beginning to end. I'm sure you will find a lot of interesting ideas on what can be made from natural materials.

Well, if you have any thoughts on this topic, please share below under the article and write your reviews and comments.

I would like to start this conversation with the fact that you do not even mean and cannot imagine that everything is much simpler than you think. It turns out that to make masterpieces, you can take the most ordinary sticks, twigs, or maybe you have pebbles or shells. In general, we always have all this at hand, so why not take advantage of it.

I propose to dwell on products made of stones, which are always available in any area. If you were somewhere on vacation, you could bring these with you. It is advisable to take, of course, smooth stones. Take a log or plank and carefully use a glue gun to glue the composition you have conceived. Here you can make flowers for example. And to make the craft brighter and more aesthetically pleasing, paint it, for this use acrylic paints.

The product in the shape of a hedgehog is quite popular, take a look. In my opinion, there is still not enough mushroom or autumn leaves. So it's easy to fix, take colored paper and cut out the desired image.

You can decorate the whole picture, make such a cheerful family in the form of birds on wood. As you can see, ordinary sticks are also involved here.

By the way, do a still life.

For the smallest kids, take the following composition as a basis. Draw a maple leaf or some other on a sheet of cardboard or A4 and then decorate it with multi-colored stones.

And if it's even simpler, then choose just such a minimalist picture. Which do not forget to decorate with colorful paints.

A bird's nest made of straw is a great idea. You need to cut a circle out of cardboard.

And twist the flagellum from the straw.

And then twist a socket out of it along the diameter of the circle and fix the ends with threads.

Thus, wind in a spiral so that ultimately you get a bed in the form of a cup, glue the straw to the glue.

Then fill the souvenir with fluff or feathers and lay eggs, cones.

If you are a pumpkin or sunflower seed lover, then you can create nothing fantastically beautiful at all. Quickly see this photo. It was awesome! The author took and decorated a hedgehog, and its thorns with ordinary seeds and painted autumn.

But here pumpkin seeds were used, by the way, you can come up with a lot of all kinds of masterpieces from them. In I have already shown you several such works. Now I'll show you this one. Seeds are painted who does not know with paints, gouache or acrylic, and then glued.

Here the artist did not use glue, but put everything on plasticine. The tree trunk is made of buckwheat grains.

A stork is also made from pumpkin seeds, such a panel comes out, or hang it on the wall like a picture and admire it.

I was shocked by another amazing and cool craft, I mean a chicken from which the author made different seeds. For this masterpiece, you need pumpkin seeds and sunflower seeds, as well as plasticine.

1. From plasticine, mold the base, that is, the head and body of the bird.

2. Then start decorating the chicken by sticking in the seeds one at a time, as shown in the picture. There will be wings first.

3. And then the ponytail. It looks funny already.

Do everything carefully and take your time, it is from your efforts that success will await you.

5. Make a tuft of red plasticine, and a beak of yellow.

I really liked these trees from beans and watermelon seeds.

And you can also combine several types of natural material and get a picture. For example, oats are also used here, and the rim is made of corn kernels.

And remember, when you were a child, you let airplanes, and I also recommend making souvenirs from them. I mean maple.

This also includes crafts made from dry materials. Such a radiant sun.

Or a clearing and a woodland.

Above all, use straw or acorns.

You will get not only pictures, but also people and insects from chestnuts.

At school, I always remember in labor lessons such cheldobeks were made.

Well, if you have a handful of pistachios, or rather peels, lying around, then imagine you can become a real decorator. Make such a topiary.

Well, or a vase and insert dried or fresh flowers into it.

Well, in conclusion to this chapter, I want to impress you. I found one fun pattern that you can easily follow. All you need is a board, nails and woolen threads.

Circle a maple leaf on the plywood and hammer in the carnations along the outline.

Follow the outline with orange thread.

Then begin to confuse in a chaotic manner, as if applying patterns, a spider's web. Great, did you?

I also like such a funny plot, in which the author took ordinary logs and laid out such birds.

These friends are somewhat reminiscent of snowmen.

Crafts for elementary school "What the autumn gave us"

Of course, in order to make compositions on this topic, it is enough to have everything you need at hand. This means you need natural material, and improvised means. Plus your desire, imagination and of course fantasy. If it’s really hard and inspiration doesn’t come, then take these ideas and create.

I suggest the girls take their favorite doll and decorate her with such a golden outfit.

This is how it turns out you can go to the park and collect dry leaves and you are already a wizard).

Brilliant, isn't it? Such a queen emerged from an ordinary toy.

Do this kind of work out of physalis.

Or, for example, build an alarm clock or a clock from twigs.

A sprig of mountain ash and cones will help you decorate.

Well, and not in the last place, perhaps the most popular will be a craft using seeds. I always see such creations at exhibitions in kindergarten and school competitions.

Everyone knows autumn is rich, so make some wonderful masterpieces.

By the way, decorate your class awesomely by making garlands of acorns, chestnuts and rowan berries.

Or here's an idea.

Run the spider web and bring it to school.

Probably the most enchanting will be such a charm, well, the symbol of this season in all its glory is direct, this is the face of a girl. Take any flowers, plants and create.

You can make such a portrait. I think elementary school students and even preschoolers will cope with such a job with a bang. Well, especially high school.

Such a gift looks superb, these are roses, but unusual, but from maple leaves.

You need to properly learn how to fold the leaves, here is the sequence of actions. Watch this short master class:

On this topic, how to create such a bunch, I found this video on the Internet on the YouTube channel. Maybe it will be useful to you too. Happy viewing.

You can decorate a wreath beautifully.

Do not forget that it will not be difficult to build a lot of creations from spruce branches.

What a cute owl came out, you can't take your eyes off.

You can build an oak tree, see how wonderful it turned out.

Here's another idea to take note of.

Autumn work in kindergarten from natural materials

I think the kids will love the work called applique. Cut the leaves into squares and stick them on the album sheet in the form of any character.

Such an unusual tree can also be a good idea. I would say magical, on the one hand it has winter, snow or frost, and on the other - foliage.

You will need to make a trunk out of plaster, like a stand and stick the collected branches into it. Let your baby decorate it now as shown in the picture above. Make snow from cotton wool, and greens from dry grass and leaves, flowers.

Or you can do spiders or a hut on chicken legs with Baba Yaga. After all, children are very fond of fairy-tale characters.

And if you want to go not the traditional way and take shavings from a simple or colored pencils as a basis and perform such beauty.

Also create bear figurines from walnuts.

And here is such a little mouse.

Here are a couple more mice.

The panel with the use of rowan berries also looks great.

You can take the following option as a basis, make the leaves out of paper in the quilling style, and glue the mountain ash.

Here is such a funny kitten, well, it will obviously cheer everyone up.

And also I want to invite preschoolers to make a smart owl.

It is easy to build the following from tree cuts.

Or make a lion cub or a lion.

Also, readily settle on simple models that are cut in the following way.

You can also draw, take dry leaves of trees as a basis in the form of stencils and simply dip them in paint to make prints.

Or, this is how you can arrange a drawing with birches.

Next work, draw an image of a woman or a girl, and invite the child to make hair.

Connect your imagination and build animals or animals.

It is interesting to design a boat.

Or dazzle a peacock or a firebird.

Pine cone toys and souvenirs: fast and beautiful

Well, now I present to your attention all the most interesting of acorns, cones and probably plasticine. Because it is this component that will help to recreate new toys and souvenirs.

Before you is a picture, which is made with paints, a background and multi-colored cones, which are also painted with acrylic paints, are painted.

The next work, this is such a cute topiary, from all that was in the forest. There are sprigs of Christmas trees, cones, berries, even acorns.

Love Masha and Misha from the cartoon, then you will like the next idea.

On this topic, I found new items for you this year in this video from the YouTube channel. So, don't miss it!

Well, and a couple more ideas that you can translate into reality.

These can be birds such as an owl or a swan, as well as a basket of cones.

It is easy to make an angel in the form of a doll, or a pendant.

They even make squirrels, but besides plasticine, felt fabric is also used.

In addition to all this, you can also take any fruits and vegetables and arrange any composition using natural materials.

Original crafts from leaves on the theme of Golden Autumn

If you have absolutely nothing to create from, then take and collect foliage in the parks and you will not believe you can make such creations from it. Even kids 2-3 years old can handle it. Well, and even more so for schoolchildren. I have one child in our house who lives and studies in the third grade, so he painted the collected leaves like this.

And my son and I, who is already 5 years old, will almost soon be 6, we will make such a miracle. Here is such a butterfly, he chose the second one, and which one do you like best?

To be honest, I also really liked the hare and the fox. Look, even the bark has been adapted.

And what kind of bird is this? Peacock, wow and her tail is beautiful!

Well, the following composition in the form of an aquarium and fish can still be a great idea.

In addition to all this, insects can be easily and quickly created.

But perhaps the most beautiful and charming craft will be in the form of maple leaves, they are folded in an unusual way, in the form of roses. Here is an instruction for making such beauty. Repeat all the steps as shown in this picture.

This is what should come out in the end.

You can make flowers of any kind of leaves. This video will help you with this, watch the master class.

In addition, take a regular vase and place dry branches in it and decorate with foliage.

And also any photo frame can be presented in an unusual way.

Well, for the boys who love Indians, make a leader.

And here are some more cool ideas on what leaves can be thought up and done. Here they are children's creations.

As you can see, there is so much here. A turtle, a snail, a helicopter and even a mischievous parrot.

Or lay out the fabulous Petya cockerel.

In addition to all this, you can go in a non-traditional way and make paintings.

And if the sun is not enough for you, then here's an idea for you.

You can also bring a vase made of maple leaves to decorate the interior, and, of course, to an exhibition in a school or kindergarten. How to do it? You will need PVA glue and a balloon.

In short, you can look at these steps and build such a creation today.

Or consider these stages of work.

1. Inflate a balloon, apply with a PVA brush and immediately apply the leaves.

2. This is what you should get.

3. Apply glue on top of the leaves as well.

4. Now let the workpiece dry completely, and then pierce the ball with a needle. Now rub it with fruits and vegetables and faster for the holiday.

I think, after reading and viewing this note, you no longer have any questions about what can be made from natural material, I think I have found enough ideas. Just take it and do it.

All the best and most positive. Until!

Best regards, Ekaterina

See photos, study simple step-by-step master classes, get ideas and a muse will definitely visit you! And do not forget to collect everything that comes under your feet during your walks - interesting pebbles, twigs, flowers, berries, nuts and other natural material. Set aside a separate box for these treasures - they will definitely come in handy, you'll see.

Golden autumn is the best time for long walks and creativity. Enjoy nature, be inspired to create amazing DIY masterpieces.

The most beautiful autumn crafts from vegetables and fruits with your own hands

With the arrival of autumn, kindergartens and elementary schools often organize exhibitions of crafts made from natural materials. Recently, crafts made from fruits and vegetables have occupied a special niche. They turn out to be very bright and quite interesting.

Most often, parents find out about such art exhibitions the day before. And you have to quickly gather your thoughts, the necessary materials and create something beautiful in a hurry.

I want to offer you several master classes on simple crafts from vegetables. You don't have to run around your neighbors looking for the material you need. Also, the creative process will not take too long, and you even have time for a night's sleep.

Mushroom glade

A simple craft that requires the following materials:

  • Cardboard sheet or box lid
  • Leaves or greens for herbs
  • Carrot
  • Apple
  • Potatoes
  • Toothpicks

In the lid from under the box, we will make a clearing for which you can collect fallen leaves on the way home from the garden or school.

Let's make the mushrooms. The legs are slices of carrots, the caps are halves of a potato or apple.

We fasten all the parts together with toothpicks. We set the mushrooms themselves in the clearing with the help of pieces of plasticine.

You can also make bugs from plasticine and put them on mushrooms.

Piglets

For this craft, prepare the following materials:

  • Potatoes
  • Plasticine
  • Plastic plate
  • Paper napkin (or corrugated paper)

From a plate and a napkin we make a base on which our "pigs" will sit.

For piglets, we make ears-triangles, piglets, eyes, tails from plasticine.

Very simple and fast. You don't even have to suffer - your baby will gladly blind all the necessary components.

Funny little people

But what kind of cuties can be made from potatoes. You will need:

  • Potatoes
  • Pumpkin or large zucchini
  • Markers
  • White paper

Cut the pumpkin in half, make a "boat" for funny little people.

For funny muzzles from white paper, cut out circles-eyes, draw pupils on them, glue them to potatoes.

With felt-tip pens we finish drawing everything else - noses, mouths.

Children will love this unusual drawing on vegetables, so be sure to involve them in making crafts.

Potatoes are an excellent vegetable that is easy to work with and a variety of fantasies are easily born. For example, here are such a simple cock and dog. or a cute ant that can be done in just 10 minutes. Just go to the courtyard to hunt for chopsticks beforehand.

Or cut out the following candlesticks from large potatoes:

Caterpillars made from apples and grapes are beautiful and bright.

Caterpillar

For such a beauty, we need:

  • Apples
  • Grapes
  • Carrot
  • Toothpicks, skewers
  1. In the apple, which will be the muzzle, we cut out the "eye sockets" into which we insert the grape eyes with the help of toothpicks. For the mouth, we also make a small horizontal incision, insert a "smile" into it.
  2. We string grapes on skewers - we make "horns".
  3. We connect the apples to each other - this will be the "body" to which we attach the "head".
  4. Cut the carrots into circles. We make "legs" for our caterpillar.
  5. You can seat such a beauty in an impromptu meadow. It can be easily made from a plastic plate and leaves. A little imagination, additional materials and such caterpillars are obtained from apples.

You can fantasize a lot about animals. Hedgehogs are especially popular. They can be made from any material - potatoes, pears, apples.

Hedgehog

To create a cute forest dweller, we need:

  • Zucchini
  • Apple
  • Rowan berries
  • Twigs, leaves
  • Toothpicks, plasticine

From the leaves and twigs, we will make a clearing in the lid from under the box.

We make the hedgehog from the vegetable marrow. We sculpt the eyes and nose from plasticine, pin them with toothpicks. After that, you can make "thorns".

Everything is simple here - insert the toothpicks into the zucchini and you're done!

We put a small apple on the back of the hedgehog, decorate with rowan berries. If you have dried mushrooms, they can come in handy too.

In fact, creating a masterpiece from the gifts of the garden is very simple. Lay out the vegetables that you have in the refrigerator in front of you and together with your child think about who they look like or who they can turn into. Children, as you know, have a rich imagination, so in a couple of minutes you will have enough brilliant ideas.

Autumn crafts for kindergarten from paper

Paper is an excellent material for creativity. Therefore, if you did not manage to collect herbarium or natural materials, do not be discouraged. Plain colored paper, cardboard, glue, scissors - everything you need to create an applique on the theme of "Autumn".

The first application that I want to offer you, I call

Wood

To make it you will need:

  • Sheet (A 4) of blue or blue cardboard
  • Colored paper - red, yellow, green, orange, brown
  • Glue, scissors

Cut out a rectangle from brown paper - this will be the trunk of a tree. Also cut out two green rectangles - this will be grass.

Cut out rectangles from red, yellow, orange paper, glue them in the form of rings.

Then we glue the prepared elements onto cardboard in the form of an autumn tree.

A few more variations on the theme of autumn trees:

Another autumn association is harvesting. Therefore, we will consider another interesting idea of the application called

The harvest

You can store a variety of fruits all year round. All you need for this:

  • Colored paper
  • Scissors

Help your child - draw these simple details for 3 D fruits. Cut them out together and glue them onto pieces of cardboard for cute postcards.

Or you can put fruit in a "jar" - and a compote will come out, which will amuse your baby, and he will want to "roll up" more than one such jar!

Umbrella

It often rains in autumn. In order not to get wet, let's make a bright voluminous umbrella from colored paper and cardboard. For this craft we need:

  • Sheet A 4 green cardboard
  • Squares (8 * 8 cm) - 5 pieces of different colors
  • Rectangles (2 * 10 - 15 cm) - 1 white and 2 pieces of blue
  • Cocktail tube
  • Scissors
  • Double-sided tape
  • Simple pencil

Using adhesive tape, glue the tube to a sheet of cardboard at a distance of 2 - 3 cm from the bottom edge.

We make an umbrella from multi-colored squares. To do this, we twist each leaf in the shape of a cone, fasten it with glue.

Then we glue the blanks together.

Then we glue the umbrella to the cardboard.

We fold the rectangles of white and blue paper with an "accordion" shape. Draw a half of "rain drops" on the fold and cut it out.

Let's make the droplets volumetric. Take three droplets - 2 blue, 1 white, glue them together.

To do this, take a blue droplet, fold it in half, grease one of the halves with glue, glue the white droplet. Similarly, glue the second blue drop to the white one.

Glue the finished droplets on a sheet of cardboard above the umbrella. A simple, beautiful autumn applique is ready!

Joint creativity with children charges you with positive emotions and brings you closer to your baby. Don't miss the opportunity to fill rainy autumn days with warmth. Your child will remember these family evenings for life. So, having received an assignment in the garden to do some craft, do not rush to complete it yourself, because this is faster, more accurate ... Be sure to involve your baby!

Original works of cones, acorns and chestnuts

Another handicraft material that parents often encounter is cones, acorns, chestnuts. From simple people on matchstick legs to complex compositions, the fantasy world is rich and varied. Crafts made from natural materials become especially relevant in the fall, when the gifts of nature can be easily collected during a walk.

Let's make chestnuts

"Merry caterpillar"

For this we need:

  • Chestnuts
  • Plasticine

We roll out multi-colored circles from plasticine, with the help of which we connect chestnuts - this will be the body of a caterpillar.

We make "eyes" and "smile" from plasticine.

From two plasticine "sausages", for example, green and orange, we make "horns" for a caterpillar.

A simple craft is ready! Make a clearing for her from dry leaves and other natural material and you can take it to the exhibition.

Autumn flowers from cones

Another simple master class for joint creativity with children.

  • Cones
  • Acrylic paints or gouache
  • Large wide tassel
  • Green colored paper
  • Scissors

For "flowers" it is best to collect open buds. Clean them from dirt, rinse if necessary, dry well. After such a preparatory procedure, you can start creating.

The first step is to paint the buds and let them dry well.

Cut the paper into rectangles 5 * 15 cm. We make "leaves", which we twist into a ring. Bend the upper part outward.

Place a cone in the center of the “leaf”.

Make some of these fall flowers, place them on the "flower bed" stand. A simple, bright, original craft is ready!

A vase of acorns

Let's look at a simple acorn craft that can be made in one evening, leaving the most difficult work to your child.

We will need:

  • Bank (any size)
  • Plasticine
  • Acorns

For this craft, it is not necessary to take a new plasticine. The leftovers from the old box are fine. Since we will just need to stick the jar on all sides with plasticine mass.

If your acorns have lost their caps, it doesn't matter! Glue them down with glue.

As a result, the entire jar should be sealed. If there are large gaps between the acorns, fill them with caps. The neck of the jar can also be pasted over with caps.

Place a bouquet of autumn leaves or any composition of gifts of autumn in a vase.

It is not necessary to use one thing in compositions from natural materials. Naturally, you can safely combine everything that you can find in one craft. Do not be afraid - fantasize!

The main thing here is to start, to take the first step. And then you will not be stopped! You yourself will not notice how ideas begin to appear in your head. And when you are engaged in such creativity with a child, then the sea of positive emotions is provided. Little geniuses are sure to surprise you - they are capable of more than you think. Therefore, never do instead of the child - do with him!

Pumpkin crafts

Pumpkin is a great material for bright, beautiful crafts. It's a pleasure to work with this vegetable! For example, taking a small pumpkin and a sculpting mass, you can make a cute "vampire". An old hat, paints, any material at hand - and the fabulous Scarecrow from Oz is ready.

Dry leaves, rowan berries, matches, a little plasticine, shells that were collected in the summer by the sea - and here we have a teremok.

Or you can carve out a whole flying saucer with garlic alien heads.

I really like the pumpkin vases. They are done quite simply. Everything that you can find in a garden or park goes into action. The result is simply fabulous!

Let's make a colorful autumn pumpkin bouquet together. It can not only be sent to the exhibition, but also presented as an original gift to your beloved teacher or educator on Teacher's Day, which is celebrated on the first Sunday in October.

For crafts, you will need the following materials:

  • Small pumpkin
  • Floral sponge
  • Scissors
  • Glass with water
  • Any autumn flowers

Cut off the top of the pumpkin and peel the pulp well.

Cut the floral sponge and place it inside the pumpkin. We'll pour it with water.

We cut the stems of flowers, collect the bouquet.

Do not forget to carefully moisturize the floral sponge, and such a bouquet will delight you with its beauty for a long time. If you are going to create a similar composition from dry leaves and twigs, then to fix them, place ordinary foam or a sculpting mass in the pumpkin. For a stronger structure, you can additionally lubricate the ends of the branches with glue. Enjoy your creative moments!

Autumn crafts in kindergarten from leaves

I begin to collect and dry leaves, herbs, flowers with my children in the summer. By the fall, we have a rather impressive collection, which is gradually turning into original applications.

All that is needed for such applications is a cardboard base, PVA glue or glue stick, scissors and, of course, a herbarium. Children really enjoy taking part in creating paintings from leaves that literally come to life on a sheet of paper.

The youngest children can draw, for example, a contour of a hedgehog or a butterfly and let them glue them with leaves. The older the child is, the more complex compositions you can offer him.

Let's make an original volumetric owl from leaves for kindergarten.

Owl

We will need the following materials:

  • Colorful leaves
  • Rowan berries
  • File (for documents) format А 4
  • Ribbons 30 cm long - 2 pieces
  • Colored cardboard - yellow and brown
  • Double-sided tape
  • Scissors
  1. Cut out the owl's legs and eyes from cardboard.
  2. Cut off the white stripe from the file. We do this carefully, the file must remain intact.
  3. Open the file like a bag and fill it with leaves and berries.
  4. Inside the file (in the upper corners) we put the triangles-ears, tie them with ribbons.
  5. Tuck the bottom of the file, seal it with tape.
  6. Using scotch tape, glue the eyes, beak and paws.

The adorable owl is ready!

It's so easy to revive the autumn leaves and create a small miracle with your child.

Beautiful autumn crafts for kindergarten and school

When you have enough time left, you can work wonders from natural materials. In schools and gardens, with the arrival of cold weather, they often ask to make bird feeders, which are then hung out in the yard.

Trough

Let's make an original craft together. For this we need:

  • 5 liter plastic bottle
  • Broom
  • Twine
  • Scissors and stationery knife
  • Acrylic paints
  • Scotch
  1. We cut the bottle into 3 parts.
  2. The upper part is completely painted over with acrylic paint. In the lower part, you need to paint the bottom and grab a few centimeters from the bottom. Then we apply glue and wrap the bottom with twine, leaving about 2 - 3 centimeters free from the top.
  3. After the glued twine dries well, cut out a window with scissors and put on the roof of the feeding house.
  4. We strengthen the roof with tape.
  5. We disassemble a broom, decorate our house.
  6. We wrap the handle with twine - for it we will hang the feeder on the tree.

A beautiful bird feeder is ready!

Autumn panel

For manufacturing, we need the following materials:

  • Dry leaves, grass
  • Rowan berries
  • Rose hip sprig
  • Wooden sticks
  • Glue gun
  • Rope

It is quite easy to make such a juicy autumn bouquet.

  1. To begin with, we will make two square frames of wooden sticks, which we will firmly tie together.
  2. Let's connect the frames to each other.
  3. We take several branches, tie them together, and then attach them to the base.
  4. On the other side and in the center, we tie dry grass.
  5. From above, using a rope, we attach rowan branches.
  6. Place a fir twig under the rowan berries and fix it.
  7. Using a glue gun, decorate the panel with leaves in random order, starting with the largest ones.

The more various elements you use to make such a panel, the more beautiful and interesting it will be. So today go in search of autumn treasures and you can easily create your masterpiece!

Autumn craft in kindergarten fake from natural material of the autumn forest (video)

Watch a detailed step-by-step master class on creating wonderful hedgehogs in a clearing. To repeat such a composition, you will need: plasticine, seeds, a sheet of thick cardboard, a plastic bottle, leaves, autumn berries and everything you can find on a walk with your baby. And also grab a great mood and get started! A great family evening is guaranteed.

I hope this modest selection of simple master classes was useful to you and was able to inspire you to create your own unique and bright autumn masterpieces.

Autumn gives us a lot of materials for creativity. These are leaves of various colors, chestnuts, dried flowers, acorns, and decorative miniature pumpkin.

But, before you start making souvenirs from them, you need to properly prepare them, namely dry them and, if necessary, cover with varnish or paint.

If you make a craft from unprepared raw materials, then it will be a short-lived product.

As soon as the material dries on its own, the souvenir will lose its shape and have to be thrown away. And besides this, half-baked leaves can simply rot or become moldy.

So let's dry up our fall finds first.

Prepare the leaves for the herbarium as follows:

Method 1:

Place them between the sheets of books and place them back on the shelf, pressing firmly against the side of the other books. After about a week and a half, the leaves will become suitable for crafts.

This method is the best, since the natural color of the leaves does not change and then they for a long time do not break.

Method 2:

This method is good if you do not have the strength to endure a week and a half and want to get to work as soon as possible. Place the sheet between two white sheets of paper and iron with the lowest iron setting.

In this case, the yellow and red leaves retain their color, but the green ones can darken and become an ugly, brown hue.

Dry chestnuts, acorns and decorative pumpkin.

Method 1:

Drying outdoors in the shade. You will need to wait a long enough time before these materials acquire the dryness we need.

Sometimes this process takes a month. This is especially true of decorative pumpkins, from which wonderful autumn do-it-yourself crafts come out.

You will see for yourself when the moment comes when the gifts of autumn are ready. Acorns and chestnuts will become lighter, and the pumpkin will become like a rattle, as the cavity inside dries and shrinks, and dry seeds will beat against the walls.

Method 2:

We use the oven for this. It must be set at a temperature of up to 60C, and dried until tender, stirring occasionally.

The main thing is not to rush and do not put on a lot of heat, as the fruits will simply cook and become completely unusable.

Drying dried flowers

There is only one way and it is long-lasting. Flowers need to be strung on a thread threaded through the stems and hung in a dry place, peduncles down.

Drying in a book or iron will not work, so the shape will be lost and they will become flat. After the dried flowers are completely dry, they must be covered with a layer of hairspray. It will give them the desired density and will not allow them to crumble at the slightest touch.

Now, let's move on to specific master classes and examples.

1. Panel from autumn leaves

We offer you a great do-it-yourself leaf panel idea. It is not difficult to make it, but the result is quite impressive.

It would be nice if you placed other autumn decor elements next to the finished picture of leaves. For example, pumpkins, spikelets and other gizmos that match the style. Then you will have a whole autumn ensemble.

What we need to work:

  1. 1. Dried yellow-red maple leaves.
  2. 2. A branch of a tree for the trunk
  3. 3. A piece of square plywood
  4. 4. Stain or dark varnish
  5. 5. Simple pencil
  6. 6. PVA glue
  7. 7. A bunch of dry spikelets
  8. 8. Wicker basket for pumpkins
  9. 9. A few pieces of Jack Be Little or Baby Boo pumpkins

If you do not have such pumpkins, then the basket can be filled with chestnuts and acorns. But next year it would not hurt to grow them, as they look very colorful and festive. Of course, if you have a piece of land.

See what a variety of varieties and how harmoniously they combine with each other:

Master class step by step:

Step 1. Sand the board, paying particular attention to the edges. They should be smooth.

Step 2. Cover it with stain or varnish, preferably brownish. Apply the coating in several layers, trying to make the board not uniform in color, but slightly "spotty".

Step 3. Draw a large maple leaf by hand.

Step 4. Start gluing on the maple leaves. Start from the edges, gradually approaching the middle. The edges of the leaves should line up as closely as possible with the edges of the sketch. The next row of leaves should overlap the previous one. Do not glue the ends, they should be "overhang" for the effect of volume to emerge.

Step 5. Glue the selected twig in place of the stem.

Now hang a do-it-yourself autumn panel over a curbstone and lay out other decorative elements around.

2. Topiary from herbarium and other autumn materials

Topiary is an ornamental tree. In autumn, you can collect beautiful leaves and make such a wonderful and cozy decor element.

Any leaves, dried flowers, acorns, spikelets will be used here. The main thing is to understand the very essence and make the right foundation. And how to fill it - your imagination will tell you.

What we need to work:

  1. 1. A ceramic pot of a dull color
  2. 2. Smooth tree branch for the trunk
  3. 3.1 ball of foam, polystyrene or special floral foam
  4. 4. Dry moss, sesame or a handful of beautiful pebbles, acorns, dry mountain ash
  5. 5. Glue gun
  6. 6. Gypsum dry
  7. 7. Decorative elements: herbarium, dried flowers, mountain ash, acorns, etc.

Master - class step by step:

Step 1. First, let's make the base. Take a styrofoam ball and place it on a branch that will serve as your trunk. Then remove it and drip glue from the gun into the hole formed. Reattach the ball and let dry.

Step 2. Secure the trunk to the pot. To do this, drop a drop of glue on the free edge of the branch, attach it to the base of the pot.

Then, dilute the gypsum with water to the consistency of liquid sour cream and fill the container. Do not forget that you will still need to decorate everything on top with moss or acorns, so leave a gap of about 3-4 cm from the top.

Step 3. Now we insert the leaves, dried flowers into the ball, sticking them in with the stems. If you want to add acorns to the composition, then pre-plant them on pieces of wire.

Step 4. Now you just have to decorate the top of the pot so that the plaster is not visible.

That's all. Using this simple scheme, you can make a variety of autumn crafts with your own hands, not only from leaves, but also from dry peas, nuts and other things, etc. They will all look great!

3. Roses from maple leaves

Looking at this elegant bouquet of roses, it would never occur to you that it is made from ordinary maple leaves!

But, nevertheless, it is so. You just need to learn how to fold them correctly and you will have a great basis for many ideas.

Such roses can be included in various autumn topiary, wreaths, compositions and panels. They look great in combination with any natural materials.

Well, let's get down to business.

What we need to work:

  1. 1. Maple leaves, not dried
  2. 2. Thread or soft wire
  3. 3. Matte hairspray

Master class step by step:

Step 1. We form the middle of the bud. To do this, fold the sheet as shown in the pictures below. Try to twist it as tightly and evenly as possible. First in half, and then sausage.

As a result, we should get the following blank:

Step 2. Now we take the second sheet, fold it in half again and wrap the base with it.

The sharp edges of maple leaves must be carefully hidden inward, like this:

Step 3. We continue to build up the mass around the base, fitting more and more new leaves. If you want to end up with a bud, then twist it more tightly, and if you ate a lush rose, then loosen the twist a little.

Step 4. When you see that a real rose has blossomed in your hands, you need to fasten it with threads as tightly as possible.

Step 5. Cut off the edges with scissors and place the rose on a lining of leaves, preferably already dry. We cover the composition with varnish and admire!

Such roses from leaves stand for a long time, they will definitely be enough for the entire autumn season. You can make as many of these colors as you like. The more there are, the more gorgeous this autumn composition looks, which looks like a fabric motif.

4. Compositions of decorative pumpkins

Even if you do not grow this vegetable on your site, in the autumn you can freely buy them on the market, and then dry them yourself. We have already described how to do this above, so let's not waste time talking.

Let's get started!

There will be no master classes in this block, we will just show you examples of such a decor, and how to make them is already quite clear from the photo.

Of course, there are more complex techniques, for example, carving or painting on dry lagenaria, but this is a vast topic and deserves a separate article. Here we will consider only the simplest compositions that even a schoolboy can do.

Option 1. Basket with a scattering of pumpkins. It couldn't be easier, but the view is spectacular!

Option 2. Candlesticks made of mini pumpkins. To do this, you need to cut a hole with a knife so that you can place a foil-based candle in it.

Or this option:

Incredibly simple, right?

Option 3. A wreath on the door of pumpkins. Take any circle as a basis, for example, an embroidery hoop, and attach mini-pumpkins to it.

Pierce the ponytails with wire and screw it to the base, the circle. Use berries, acorns, twigs and autumn leaves as additional decorative elements.

It will look something like this:

5. Chestnut topiary

To create this spectacular do-it-yourself autumn craft, we will need the same base materials as for creating a decorative herbarium tree. And for decoration you just need other elements.

For work we need:

1. The pot is ceramic
2. Styrofoam ball
3. Gypsum dry
4. Glue gun
5. A branch of a tree for the trunk
6. Cones, chestnuts, acorns
7. Severe thread or twine to form decorative balls

Master - class step by step:

  1. 1. We form the base of the tree in the same way as in the case of the topiary from leaves.
  2. 2. We fix the base in the pot using glue and plaster
  3. 3. We put drops of hot glue on chestnuts, acorns and other elements and in a chaotic manner we attach them to a foam ball-crown.
  4. 4. Chestnut wreath on the door

Such a wreath of chestnuts on the front door will cheer up not only you, but also passers-by. It is very easy to make it. Follow all the steps given for making a pumpkin wreath.

Find some kind of dense base, then pierce the chestnuts and other elements through from the back side, insert the wire, form a hook and use it to screw them to the circle.

Complement the chestnut composition with leaves, acorns, berries and other autumn decorative elements that this fertile time of the year presented.

6. Autumn garland "Leaves" from salt dough

This is a very spectacular do-it-yourself autumn craft. The big advantage of such a garland is that it is not seasonal and will decorate your home for many years.

After all, it is not made of natural materials, but of salt dough that does not deteriorate over the years. The only thing is that such products are fragile and you need to handle them carefully so as not to break. But, even if this happened, they can always be glued together, and the joint will not be noticeable.

What we need to work:

1.2 cups flour
2.1 glass of salt
3.5 cups of water
4. Gouache
5. Sewing pins with an eye-hook
6. Rope
7. Oven
8. White landscape paper, pencil

Master - class step by step:

Step 1. We draw on the album sheet patterns of leaves of various types, but approximately the same size. We cut them out.

Step 2. We knead a tough dough from flour, salt and water. If the dough turns out to be non-plastic, then you can add liquid drop by drop. Knead the resulting material well and roll out on the board. The layer should be about 5-7 millimeters.

Step 3. Lay out the templates on the rolled dough and cut them along the contour with a knife.

As a result, we should have about as many blanks.

Step 4. We make holes with pins and secure the heads neatly. We will hang our leaves on them. We squeeze out the veins with a knife.

Step 5. Dry the dough in the oven at a temperature of 50-60C until completely dry.

6 step. We paint the dough blanks with gouache, trying to make natural tones and transitions.

7 step. We string the garland onto the string, making a knot over each leaf so that they do not move.

So our do-it-yourself autumn craft is ready. You can hang it anywhere, it will be in place in any corner of the house, especially if you have some other elements of decor in the autumn style.

7. Vases and houses made of ordinary pumpkin

Autumn is the time for the ripening of the pumpkin. It costs mere pennies and it is not difficult to find a beautiful shape and coloring.

And making an element of autumn decor based on it is as easy as shelling pears! There is no need for any step-by-step technologies and accessories.

The only thing you need: pumpkins, a carving knife, a tablespoon to choose the pulp and flowers with which you will fill these colorful vases.

Take a look at our selection of photos of pumpkin vases. Looks very dignified and autumnal.

As you already understood, you just need to cut off the top and peel the core of the vegetable. Then fill the container with water.

Or you can make pumpkin houses. To do this, you just need to cut holes in the right places. Where exactly they are located, you can see in the picture below. Children love these things!

8. Wreath on the door made of natural materials

We have already given above an example of pumpkin and chestnut wreaths. You already know how to make them. Here we just present a selection of the most effective, in our opinion, ideas.

9. Frame made of acorns for a photo or a mirror

It is very simple to decorate any base in this way. We think that explanations are not needed here at all.

The only thing we can advise is that you should not glue acorns on a glue gun or PVA. Much better if you use plasticine.

Because, most likely, you will soon get tired of this decor and have to throw it out. And so, you can always dismantle the acorns and get back to use a regular photo frame.

This is how it will look.

There are solid acorns on the photo frame, and only hats on the mirror. Thus, you can create a variety of autumn crafts with your own hands and decorate any surface: caskets, bread bin, etc.

10. Grape bunch of acorns

This autumn craft will look the best if you paint the "berries" in natural colors, and instead of grape leaves add a herbarium of maple, various colors.

Also, a bunch of acorns is a wonderful element of any autumn wreath on a door or a large topiary. After all, it can be made not only as a desktop, but also in human height!

Only instead of a foam ball, you need to take some big, plastic one. Grapes from acorns are made very simply, we will now tell you exactly how.

What we need to work:

1. Acorns without caps
2. Shiloh
3. Wire
3. Glue gun
4. Acrylic paint
5. Autumn leaves for decoration

Master class step by step:

Step 1. We pierce the holes at the base of the acorn with an awl.

Step 2. We break or cut the wire into pieces 7-10 cm long.

Step 3. Dip the ends of the wire into a drop of glue from the gun and insert into the punctured holes.

Step 4. We paint the acorns in any color you want. The main thing is that it is combined with leaves that will complement the composition.

Step 5. We collect the acorns in a bunch, forming a wire rod from above. Then we attach the leaves to it.

Now you can make any decoration based on this autumn craft. Panel, wreath and so on.

11. Autumn crafts from felt

It is a pleasure to work with this fabric! The material does not crumble, it keeps its shape perfectly. And this means that any beginner can make an autumn craft out of felt with his own hands and it will turn out to be no worse than the products of experienced craftswomen.

We offer you a selection of the best and simplest decors in autumn style, and you already choose any of them! They are so simple that they do not need to describe in detail their step-by-step technology.

As you can see, on the basis of felt leaves, you can make both a wreath and a garland, like the one we already made from salt dough. Here are a couple more DIY options for autumn wreaths.

All you need is to draw templates, cut out felt and arrange it according to our photos.

12. Pigtail of garlic and red pepper

How cozy it is when bunches of garlic, onions, and red peppers are hanging in the kitchen! But if you hang them fresh, they will very soon lose their appearance or simply run out, because they will be used as food.

Let's do something like that, but for the ages! Now we will look at how garlic and pepper are made, from which we will form a pretty braid for the kitchen.

For work we need:

1. White nylon tights or a plastic bag (for the base of garlic)
2. Cotton wool or synthetic winterizer (for filling)
3. White harsh thread (for dressing and forming lobules)
4. Glue gun
5. Buckwheat or twine (to imitate the roots of garlic)
6. Cloth for sewing peppers or salted dough for sculpting it

Master class step by step:

Step 1. We form the body of the garlic. To do this, we need to cut into squares or nylon tights or simple plastic bags. Garlic made from nylon looks, of course, more realistic.

But it looks good even from the packages. But most importantly, this material is always at hand. So, we cut out a square, about 7 by 7 cm in diameter.

Step 2. We roll a ball out of cotton wool or synthetic winterizer, put it inside the nylon flap and form a head of garlic. It looks like this, as shown in the photo.

Step 3. Then we begin to tie the head with a harsh thread, forming cloves of garlic. First, we divide in half, then into quarters, then into 8 parts.

Look at the photo, it clearly shows the process.

Step 4. On the place where the roots of real garlic are, drip a drop of glue and sprinkle this place with crushed buckwheat. If you want, you can replace it with twine, which needs to be loosened and finely chopped.

Step 5. We make a pigtail of twine and attach the resulting cloves of garlic to it.

6 step. Now it's time to tackle the pepper. You can sew it, but pepper sculpted from salted dough looks much better.

We have already given the recipe for kneading, in the sub-heading "Garlands of autumn leaves." These are the spices that should come out in the end.

7 step. We make holes in the ponytails of the peppercorns (we will then pass the string through them and use it to fix them on the pigtail with garlic). You can do this with an awl or any item at hand.

The main thing is to make them large enough so that you can thread the thread freely later. Otherwise, after drying, you will in no way be able to attach the finished product to the composition.

And one more thing: if you make a hole, make sure that the edges of the leg remain more or less large. Otherwise, after threading the thread, the thin walls may crack and the pepper will fall to the floor.

Step 8. Dry in the oven, paint with acrylic paint, cover them with varnish when dry. When the pepper is shiny, it looks more natural.

Dry on a low temperature, do not rush, otherwise, your work may burst and you will have to re-sculpt everything. Cracked peppers can no longer be dyed the way you would like.

9. Attach the pepper to the garlic and hang this autumn composition in the kitchen. You can make several of these bundles. You can make carrots with salted dough and brown tights for an onion bunch.

The principle of making bulbs is the same as for garlic, only it is even simpler. Lobules do not need to be formed.

Also, a bunch of mushrooms on the wall will look great, which you can also mold from dough and paint realistically.

So our great review has come to an end. You have seen many examples and any kind of autumn DIY crafts. We really hope that our master classes will benefit you and that you will definitely take something into service.

To give comfort to an apartment or house, it is advisable to think over the decorative design of the space to the smallest detail, for example, create crafts from natural material with your own hands. Such details will make it possible to make, albeit beautiful, but initially "empty" living space more homely, warm and comfortable. Beautiful crafts made from natural materials are especially indispensable for, but in any other design idea there is a place for hand-made jewelry. Also, such interesting things will be very useful for parents, whose children need to shine in kindergarten or school. Well, let's be patient and start making!

Most often crafts are made from natural material in summer and autumn , because it is at this time that you can find many useful little things almost under your feet. However, some materials are available at any time of the year, so neither cold winter nor early spring should be an obstacle to creativity.

DIY crafts made of wood (video and photo ideas)

Wooden crafts will always find a worthy place in the interior, and they can be completely different in shape, since wood is used in various variations:

  • Twigs and twigs - the most affordable tool for creating crafts. From them, you can make figures of animals, stars, hearts and in general any shape, which is very exciting for children. You can decorate with dry twigs and sticks frame for photo or mirror, as well as decorate a panel, filling them with a certain silhouette. An interesting pots for flowers in eco-style are made from sticks tied together.

  • Cuts of trees and "hemp" also provide a wide scope for creativity. You can make larger items from them, for example, watches, jewelry boxes or pencil stands. Such work requires men's hands and skills in working with tools, but women can also use saw cuts to create decorative ornaments. Cuts of small branches can be glued together, creating various crafts. Nice pendants are obtained by tying small cuts on the ropes to a large base along the perimeter. In the same way, it is worth registering the old floor lamp or a chandelier.

Ecostyle table clock

  • Bark and birch bark - more complex materials in terms of creating masterpieces. Various baskets and birch bark boxes are always works of art, but learning how to make them is very difficult. On the bark of trees, you can create miniature paintings, complementing the "pattern" of the bark with suitable details.

Crafts from natural materials: pebbles and pebbles

Stones of different colors and shapes make excellent crafts. You can make a comfortable rug, a hot stand, a decorative panel or an original figurine.

Advice! Pebbles are the most popular stones because they have flat areas, which makes it very easy to attach to the base with glue.

Decorative pots with "flowers"

Even ordinary painted stones look very bright and fun, and if you also create a composition from them, you will get a unique piece of furniture. Some designers use pebbles to decorate vertical or horizontal surfaces in an apartment, for example, parts of walls and window sills.

Homemade towel hooks using natural materials

Themes of crafts from natural materials for the summer: fruits and seeds

From labor lessons in elementary school, everyone remembers children's crafts made from natural material, for which cones, acorns, nut shells, seeds were used, coffee beans etc. Together with children from these well-known materials, you can create a worthy decorative accessory for the home. Most often, miniature figures or three-dimensional paintings are made from fruits and seeds. If you attach various fruits to the "bouquet" of dry twigs, you can adequately replace the Christmas tree.

Volumetric panel for the kitchen

Advice! Any collected natural material (pebbles, cones or wooden sticks) should be dried before creating homemade masterpieces. If the parts are wet, the life of the craft will be greatly reduced.

DIY autumn crafts: leaves and flowers

Fallen leaves of various colors and dried flowers make it possible to create the brightest bouquets, compositions and decorative wreaths. Such autumn crafts made from natural materials go well not with ordinary vases, but with original containers: watermelon rind, coconut shell or pumpkin shell. To decorate festive table, you can just supplement such autumn compositions with candles, ripe vegetables and fruits. Leaves and moss are used to create appliques, and sometimes such beauty is obtained that it is not a sin to replace it with a painting by a modern artist.

A step-by-step master class on creating a vase from maple leaves

Crafts on the marine theme: shells are used

Another unique material for creating DIY crafts are shells. Individual specimens themselves are of particular interest in terms of decorativeness, and even products made from them will not leave anyone indifferent. If you are lucky enough to collect a collection of seashells at sea, do not leave them in a bag, but make a picture or a pendant out of them.

Master class: shell topiary

DIY crafts: feathers

Feathers are commonly used as ingredients in other crafts: they are used to decorate tails, hair or tree trunks. But they can also be used separately if they are tied in small "bouquets" and put in transparent containers. Such a "bird" decor will bring fresh emotions to the interior.

DIY crafts from natural material: master classes for making

Making a craft from natural material is quite simple, since they begin to teach this at school. If you try, you can create a real work of art. Consider the details of making some beautiful little things.

Colorful panel

An interesting panel can be made from various natural materials. Dry leaves, straw, nutshells, and dried flowers are suitable for him. The plot itself can be absolutely anything. The panel is created as follows:

  1. First, frames are drawn up, which can be driftwood of original forms or several branches connected to each other. The panel can be round, in this case a vine can act as a frame.
  2. The basis for the panel is burlap or plain paper. In some cases, you can make a straw mesh, deliberately leaving empty spaces in the picture.
  3. It is possible to create a composition from leaves, flowers and other available natural materials, and in the case of a straw base, an interesting solution would be to weave elements into an already created lattice.
  4. The last stage is the creation of fasteners (from rope or wire), with which the panel can be hung on the wall.

Eggshell flower pots

Miniature flowerpots are obtained from eggshells, however, this work requires great care due to the fragility of the material:

  1. First, gently break the raw egg and pour the entire contents into a bowl. The edges can be hollowed out exactly, or you can leave them fragmented.
  2. Next, we solve the problem of the stability of the future vase. For these purposes, either an egg stand or a package from them is suitable. If you do not plan to use other devices, you can use plasticine, which is rolled into a flagellum, which is tied to the bottom of the future vase.
  3. After registration, the container can be populated by residents. It can act as a vase, where small wildflowers will stand in the water, and a pot where you can plant greens, moss or small

    Stump candlestick

To make a candlestick from a small hemp or saw cut, you need to perform a number of simple steps:

    1. Any wooden parts should be pre-treated with impregnation in order to rid them of the appearance of rot and pests.
    2. Further, in the center of the stump or anywhere in the core (depending on the idea), it is necessary to drill a sufficiently wide and shallow hole into which a standard flat candle will fit. If you do not have the skill to work with a drill, you can use a regular knife, but the work will take longer.
    3. After that, you need to process the edges and cut of the product with sandpaper.
    4. For decoration, you can paint the product or leave it in its natural form, but varnish the slices. The edges of the product can be tied with burlap or wrapped with jute rope.

    Beautiful Christmas composition

Also looks interesting candlestick for several candles, made in the same way on a long snag. If you think about mounting it to the wall or a stable stand, you can often delight yourself with romantic evenings.

If you want to create something completely unique, which no one has ever done before, let your imagination run wild. Sometimes the most familiar object can appear in such an unusual way that one wonders how it could even have occurred to anyone.

11 fallen leaves
Cooking steps:
We crumple the newspaper, give it the shape of a ball. Then, to keep the ball in shape, we wrap it with masking tape (for more durable work, I wrapped it with a rope). Now we need to attach a branch to our ball. To do this, cut out a small hole in the ball, 2-3 cm deep, smear the twig with glue and insert. When the glue is dry, we begin to glue the ball. We will be the first to glue the cones (they must be well dried, because if the cones are damp, they will not stick). Then we will glue the leaves. Next, you can glue rowan branches, spruce branches, wolf berries and any other decorations that are suitable for our autumn theme. Then we prepare the solution in unnecessary dishes and pour it into a pots with a tree. In order for the solution to dry, you need to wait about two hours. After we have made sure that the solution has frozen, we proceed to decorate the pots. We cover the surface of the solution with spruce branches, cones and whatever. So our bright tree is ready!
