Color scheme for stitch embroidery of a round napkin. Embroidery tablecloth patterns patterns

Napkins, satin stitch... Lot

The size: 48x56 cm (including fringe 2 cm).

You will need:

  • gray linen fabric 58x66 cm;
  • bobbin threads to match the fabric for hemstitching;
  • embroidery needle.
  • Using carbon paper, transfer the contours of the embroidery to the fabric, placing it in the center. Satin stitch embroidery with floss threads of the indicated colors in 2 additions. To achieve a smooth transition from one tone of threads to another when embroidering flowers and leaves, the stitches of each adjacent tone must be done different lengths... In the center of the leaves, you can make veins with a stalked seam with a dark green thread.

    At the end of the embroidery, align the edges of the napkin strictly in the direction of the threads to the size of 48x56 cm. To mark the fringe border at a distance of 2 cm from the edges of the napkin, pull out 1 control thread each. Then, for stripes of hemstitching 1 cm wide, at a distance of 2 cm from the threaded threads, pull the threads until they intersect in the corners. On the thinned threads, make a "column" hemstitch, grabbing 4-5 threads of fabric for 1 stitch, and sew the open sides of the through squares with tightly adjacent stitches of a buttonhole seam. Finally, along the lines indicating the border of the fringe, perform the tassel hemstitch and draw out the excess threads of the fabric.

The set consists of 6 round napkins with a diameter of 20 cm and 1 oval napkin measuring 50x29 cm.

You will need:

  • 60 cm white linen fabric width 140 cm;
  • cotton threads No. 60 and No. 10;
  • floss thread following colors: green, pink, lilac (at least 3 shades of each), as well as red, yellow and white flowers for embroidery of the core of flowers.

Execution technique: the main embroidery was made using the "satin stitch" technique with the infusion of tones, in addition, decorative seams were also used. The work is done on a sewing machine.

On an oval napkin satin stitch embroidery in the form of a sprig of flowers is made on both sides of the napkin. Along the edge of the round napkins we repeat a small fragment of embroidery in pink and lilac tones. Scalloped edges of all napkins are embroidered with a wide satin stitch roller with flooring and thread laying.

We begin the work by transferring the drawing through carbon paper onto a prepared fabric ("decotage"). Hoop the fabric with the pattern. Trim the edges of leaves and flower petals 2-3 times with thread # 60. The stitching will subsequently raise the embroidery and give it volume. Fill the petal contour with satin stitches from the edge of the petal with longer stitches, overlapping the stitched contour. We make satin stitches within the outline different lengths, and then pour in the thread of the next tone, but we already make the stitches shorter, etc. The closer to the center, the shorter the stitches should be. We decorate the center of the flower with a "birdie" - lush elongated stitches, while making the 2 outer stitches in white, the central lush stitch in red, yellow or any other contrasting color. We try to make the colors of the petals varied. For example, in one petal we make the edge of the petal darker, and the center - lighter, in the other petal, vice versa. One corner of the petal can be "darkened", or you can wrap the edge of the petal a little and make this place lighter. And our advice to you: keep in front of you good drawing- "base" - and fantasize - this will make your work more interesting. We embroider the leaves with a stitching with green threads. We visually divide the leaf into two halves. On one half we embroider more dark color edge of the leaf, and then move on to lighter colors. The other half has more dark tones will be in the central part. We embroider the central vein in a contrasting color.

When the embroidery of flowers and leaves is finished, we proceed to the design of the edge festoons. Hoop the scalloped fabric into the hoop. We fill the estimated width of the scallop with a dense flooring so that during embroidery there is no deformation of the fabric, and then with a thread the desired color we embroider them with satin stitch, laying the stitches tightly to each other. For greater strength of the product, we advise you to lay cushion thread No. 10 along the edge of the scallops, fix it and clean it with a white roller, this will make your work even more elegant.

Upon completion of the embroidery, we wash the fabric, starch, iron it out and only then cut out all the scallops.
