When shopping for the new year, do not forget to buy a quilling kit or assemble it yourself: a set of colored paper and cardboard; toothpicks; tweezers; scissors; stationery knife; PVA glue.

Usually, as a gift from children, guests receive homemade postcards... Consider simple craft, which can be made by children over three years old.

  1. Let's prepare simple elements in the form of spirals: on a special quilling tool (you can use a toothpick) we wind strips of green paper and slightly dissolve the resulting figure; glue the tip of the paper to fix the shape.
  2. We make the trunk of a Christmas tree from a strip Brown color... We roll the paper into a free roll. Use your fingers to shape the spiral into a trapezoid, slightly rounding the sides.
  3. On a sheet of paper prepared for a postcard, glue the trunk of the Christmas tree, then lay out the circles in rows. Each new row less than the previous one by one detail.
  4. We represent Christmas decorations with tight red rolls.
  5. We make the top from yellow paper: twist the circle; with our fingers we form the rays of the star.

For older children, you can use more complex elements, for example, a drop. Squeeze the round workpiece with two fingers, giving the shape an oval shape; grab the paper from one side, form a corner and shift the center of the pattern to the other side.

We repeat steps 2 and 3 from the previous algorithm. Decorate the Christmas tree with bead balls. We glue stars around the Christmas tree, you can use sparkles or rhinestones.

Volumetric figure.

You can decorate a table, window sill or car dashboard using paper tree... For such a figure, we need the following materials: a sheet of green A4 paper; quilling strips; glue.

  • The base of the tree will be a cone. On a sheet of green paper we draw an arc (1/4 of a circle), with a radius equal to the desired height of the product. Cut out a quarter of the circle and fold it into a cone. We glue the joint of the workpiece with PVA glue (or any other paper glue).
  • To make Christmas tree branches, take a curly ruler with patterns of circles or draw several circles of different radii on paper.
  • Using a quilling tool, we twist spirals of different sizes, trying on a ruler or drawing. Having slightly loosened the wrapping, glue the tip of the tape so that the spiral does not bloom. We squeeze the spiral from one end with tweezers, grabbing three to four layers of paper. In this way, we form the shape of the drop.
  • After winding a few drops of different sizes, we proceed to laying out the "branches" of the Christmas tree. Select the largest "drops" and glue them along the bottom of the cone. We place the elements with the tip up, and the lower part is aligned with the edge of the cone. We spread the second row on the first so that the point is in contact with the base, and Bottom part the blank covered the tip of the element in the previous row. We fill the entire cone with "drops" to the very top, reducing the size of the blanks.
  • We will use balls and small stars to decorate the tree. At the top of the tree we will "dress" a large star.
  • We twist five red spirals. Squeezing the element on both sides, use tweezers to make corners at the tops of the oval - we get an element in the shape of an eye. We glue all five blanks at corners to each other and set them on the top of the tree.
  • We make several spirals from strips of yellow paper. The spirals should not be too loose. Using the tweezers, give the shape a four-pointed star. We decorate the tree with these stars.
  • We make several multi-colored rolls from strips of paper. We twist the elements tightly and immediately fix the tip of the tape so that the roll does not bloom. We glue the resulting balls in different places Christmas trees.

This Christmas tree will be brighter if you add rhinestones and sparkles to the decorations (it is convenient to use special sparkles in balloons).

Openwork tree.

For the manufacture of fine crafts we need cardboard and paper strips.

Cut a circle out of cardboard - the basis of the souvenir. Cut off a narrow strip of cardboard and attach it vertically to the base, this will be the trunk of a tree. According to the algorithm described above, we twist three "drops" different sizes... A row of branches of such a tree will consist of three blanks. We place the drop with the rounded side towards the barrel, "laying" the workpiece on one side. We glue the bottom and one side of the "drop" so that it sticks to the trunk and base of the souvenir. We place the three largest figures in the bottom row at an equal distance from each other. Now we form rows of branches, gradually reducing the size of the blanks. Decorate the top of the tree with a star of five "eyes" (as described above).

Twist 18 small red spirals and two red drops. We attach two spirals next to the base, placing them with an edge. We attach three more blanks to each. We decorate the resulting turret with a drop. Putting it upside down, we simulate the fire of a candle. Next we put another candle from the remaining red blanks, as in the photo below.

Twist 12 elements from the green stripes in the shape of an eye. We spread the leaves of the bushes from them, on the sides of the candles.

1. Take brown strips and roll them into loose rolls. You can use a marker for the base.

2. Remove from the marker, coat the tip with glue and glue.

10. In the fifth row there are 5 drops of size 13.

11. The sixth row completes our craft - this is the last row Christmas trees in quilling style, 4 drops, size 13. First stick the opposite two, and then cover the voids with the other two.

The quilling Christmas tree is almost ready.

If you decorate it with beads, then you need to glue a bead on the top of the head, as on the second Christmas tree.

Christmas tree using quilling technique step by step:

To create a Christmas tree, you need to make all the parts shown in Fig. 1. They are made in the same way, the difference is in the width and length of the strips, and in the shape.

Start by creating spruce branches, which are made from green strips 0.5 cm wide and 10 cm long (4 pieces), 15 cm (4 pieces), 20 cm (4 pieces), 30 cm (4 pieces) ...

We described in detail how to make the details. Try to wrap the strips so that each of the 4 pieces of the same length is the same size.

All 16 spirals must be shaped like a "curved drop". For which you need to clamp one end of the spiral and lift it up a little.

Now let's create a trunk for the tree. This will require 3-4 strips about 10-15 mm wide. The author made 4 strips about 1 cm wide. Wind the strips tightly around a toothpick and glue the end without loosening the part.

Make a piece in the form of a non-curved, simple drop for the top of the tree from a strip about 30 cm long (Figure 5).

The resulting parts must be glued, for which use the "Moment Crystal" glue. First, glue the barrel parts (3-4 elements) together. Then insert a toothpick into it to stick the branches. Leave the trunk until sweaty to dry so that it doesn't break as you stick the branches.

The branches must be glued in rows, starting from the top.

Create tree decor from thin strips of pink and yellow flowers... For a yellow star, you need a strip of 10-15 cm. For pink toys, you need a strip of 7-10 cm. Roll the toys without a toothpick to make them small.

Glue the toys on the tree in a checkerboard pattern with tweezers and PVA glue. Then glue the top of the spruce to the Moment Crystal glue and attach a yellow star to it.

The quilling Christmas tree is ready! Christmas trees can be created in completely different sizes and can be used to decorate a Christmas tree or a New Year's table.

Draw one blade of the Christmas tree.


Attach the painted part of the Christmas tree to the bottle with tape, cover on top cling film.


Screw in a large number quilling elements: white diamonds and green droplets.


Spread a circle on the film with PVA glue and lay out an asterisk of rhombuses. You can make any number of such stars.



Fill the rest of the space with green droplets, first spreading PVA glue on the film.


Be sure to let it dry well, it is better to shoot the next day. When the glue has dried, the finished part can be removed: first, together with the film from the bottle, and then carefully separate the film.
