We start with the trunk. We take the wire, fold it in several layers to the thickness that we want to get the tree trunk. The length is greater than the height of the tree, we will need to form the "roots" and bend the trunk.

We fix the cord at a small distance from the edge of the wire and begin to wrap the barrel. Leave an empty wire for the roots.

We form the roots.

We put the ball on the trunk, look at the height of the tree. You can adjust the height by pushing the ball deeper on the barrel.

We proceed to the formation of the crown. I like to work with fabric more, so I cut squares from 3 types of material. They are called pounders. Used to fill the space between candies. In the process of making wood, I decided to replace the beige pounds with white ones.

Candies can be attached in several ways. I'll just glue them on.

I glue the pounds to the candy, forming a flower with a candy-core. I glue it to the ball.

Gradually fill the entire surface of the ball with sweets. I insert fungi into the gaps between the flowers.

We plant our tree. We breed gypsum, insert a tree, fill in the roots and set to harden.

After hardening, you can proceed to the most pleasant and very favorite part of me - decoration.
To hide the plaster, glue sisal on top. The color matched me red.

We glue beads, ribbon bows on the fungi, tie a bow of two ribbons on the trunk.

I also made spirals from tape and glued them on as well.

It turned out very bright, colorful and festive!

If the material of the trunk allows, you can depict the bends inherent in trees. If the trunk is made up of several parts, they need to be fastened together by interlacing with ordinary threads.

Making and fixing flowers

While the plaster dries, you can start creating the flowers themselves. For manufacturing, it is not necessary to take the same sweets, but it is desirable that the flowers are identical in shape and size. For example, wrap large candies in paper of one color, small ones in another. The principle of creating flowers is the same.

Cut out the petals from corrugated paper and glue them over the candy, fixed on a toothpick or skewer, in shape and size, trying not to deviate from natural flower buds. After all the petals are glued, fix the flower on the frame.

The number of flowers in the crown of the tree will depend on the size of the "candy" ball and the flowers themselves. The empty space between them can be decorated with scraps of organs, artificial grass, beads, ribbons. All this is attached either with glue or with toothpicks and skewers.

Final stage

When the crown is fully formed and decorated, you can start decorating the base pot. If the tree trunk was placed in an "oasis" or foam, then it is best to decorate the base with small candy flowers, herbs, pieces of organza. In the case when the whole composition is fixed in plaster, then you can mask the base with artificial moss and small beads to your liking.
