Purpose: Souvenir, gift, home decoration.

Most of us cannot imagine a holiday without gifts. Giving gifts and souvenirs made by yourself is very pleasant, especially to your loved ones and family.
I believe that it is necessary to start cultivating the desire to craft and make gifts from an early age.
When making such crafts, the most accessible and simple material is used - paper.
There is huge scope for the imagination of creative people, people who love to create unique, exclusive things with their own hands.
After all, each such thing is a piece of magic, a piece of the soul of the author of the work, it brings warmth, kindness, and mood.
It is necessary not only to prepare a craft, but also to present it beautifully, for example, by reciting a poem or saying holiday wishes.

Grandma
Finally everyone fell asleep
They won't spy on my secret
Because for grandma
I'll draw a bouquet.

Roses, asters, daisies
They will flash brightly on the postcard.

I'll write to grandma
How I love her
What are her pancakes
I always praise.

It's good that everyone fell asleep
It's already dawn outside the window.
I love you grandma
And I give you a bouquet!

Paper flowers

Beautiful flowers from paper can be assembled into original bouquet. One option is roses from newspapers.

They are done in this order:

  1. Patterns of petals are cut out of cardboard - 5-7 pcs. They should differ in size from each other. The minimum width is 3 cm, and other parts are expanded sequentially by 1 cm.
  2. The newspaper sheet is cut into strips along the width of the cardboard petals. In order to obtain several identical parts at once, the strips are folded like an accordion.
  3. The paper is marked according to the template, and then the petals are cut out. The top part is rounded.
  4. Each petal bends midline, which ensures the volume of the flower.
  5. The stem curls tightly from paper strip in the form of a thin tube. To strengthen it, it should be coated with glue.
  6. All elements are painted in desired color, are going. First, the narrowest petals are glued to the stem. Other parts are also glued in layers, with their size gradually increasing as they move away from the center.

Another variant - paper flower using origami technique. Operating procedure:

  1. From colored or white sheet A4 paper is made into a square.
  2. The resulting workpiece is folded along the center line, and then diagonally.
  3. The square unfolds and folds in half in the other direction. After this, the workpiece is folded into a double triangle.
  4. The corners of the base of the triangle are connected to the apex.
  5. Another similar element is made and placed next to the first part. The operation is repeated until the flower is completely formed.
  6. The parts are connected by bending the lower part.

You can create a flat composition from such flowers by placing them on a horizontal surface. You can secure flowers on stems made of flexible twigs or wire, which allows you to assemble a bouquet.

  2. At a distance of 8-10 mm from the edge of the base, small holes for toothpicks are made along the entire perimeter. Their installation step is 2-3 cm.
  3. Long toothpicks are installed strictly vertically and secured with glue.
  4. A thick thread is woven between the toothpicks, forming walls. The rows of threads are laid tightly to each other. You can use multi-colored material to form patterns.
  5. The top edge is edged with ribbon or braid.
  6. The lid is made in the same way, but toothpicks no more than 3-4 cm long are used for it.

The top of such a box can be decorated with ribbon bows, beads, and seed beads. A bright tape is glued along the edge.

The manufacturing process is as follows:

  1. From paper straws a frame is formed by laying out the bottom and raising the vertical posts.
  2. The bottom is woven: the tubes are laid in a spiral between the lower frame elements.
  3. The walls are made by weaving between the posts. The pitch of the vertical tubes is 4-5 cm. Before laying, the paper tubes are painted in the desired color so that after weaving the intended pattern is formed.

How to make postcards

If grandchildren have artistic ability, then such a postcard becomes a work of art. For a long time, the grandmother kept the gift of her little granddaughter, who depicted her on paper. Postcards with a child's handprint are especially endearing. They are made very simply - the painted palm is carefully pressed against a sheet of white paper. It is enough to add the inscription “To Grandma” with the help of your parents, and she will keep such a gift for the rest of her life. You can make a whole bouquet of flowers from handprints if you arrange them in a fan and add green stems.

Funny card for grandma

What makes birthday people happy? Balls of course! And the more balls, the merrier! Therefore, to make such a congratulation - good idea. Look step by step photos:

Postcard in the form of an apron

This sweet surprise for grandma's birthday - great way show how much you appreciate her care and how much you enjoy her culinary creations.

The basic material is colored cardboard. Fold the A4 sheet in half and draw the shape of an apron on the cover. Most convenient way to do this, use a pencil to mark one fourth of the oval in the area of the left and right upper sides so that these elements occupy half the length of the cardboard. Next, you need to carefully cut out the elements.

A mandatory detail is a pocket. It requires a beautiful colorful fabric. Cut a semicircle out of it and paste it onto cardboard along the edges. Leaving top part untouched.

Now we need thin multi-colored ribbons. If you don't find any, you can slice it thinly. satin material or wide tape. It is advisable to use different bright colors.

The first ribbon needs to be glued to the top of the pocket. Create a small bow from a ribbon of a different color and attach it to the corner of the pocket. The second ribbon needs to be glued in a semicircle to the inside of the card - this will be a strap around the neck of the apron. We attach two small identical ribbons to the right corner of the card - these will be the ties.

The most difficult stage is creating an inscription from ribbons with your own hands on the first page. This technology should only be used to create one sentence, for example, “Happy Birthday, Grandma!” It will be extremely difficult to do the rest of the text with your own hands.

To make letters, it is better to use different colors ribbons Their size should be the same. To make it easier to beautifully place all the letters, you can outline them with a pencil. Apply glue specifically to the middle parts of the tapes.

Flower card for grandma

Women love to receive flowers as congratulations on any holiday at any age, so grandma will definitely be delighted with a bright floral card.

To make the beauty and brightness of the flowers as noticeable as possible, use snow-white paper or cardboard for the base. To create the petals you will need bright paper lilac, purple, pink, red, orange and burgundy tones, and for leaves - various green shades.

Next, we decorate the card with congratulations on the important day and, of course, voluminous flowers. There are several methods to achieve the effect of volume, and the first of them is layering. Its essence is simple - cut out the petals and stick each other on each other.

An interesting technique for creating volume is bending parts. Cut out the petal and bend it in half lengthwise. Glue only one half. Or, you can glue only the fold line.

Another way is rolling. Important condition– it requires colored double-sided paper. To make the middle, you need to not roll the strip of paper into a ring too tightly, glue the tip so that it does not stand out, and attach the structure to the paper. Petals and leaves are created in a similar way, only instead of a circle you need to make a different shape when folding.

Or you can make a 3D box with flowers instead of a postcard, it will definitely impress grandma:

Card with knitted elements for grandma's birthday

If the word “knitted” scares you because you are not familiar with this type of needlework, it is not necessary to use knitting needles, crochet and complex techniques to create this birthday present with your own hands.

Using thick threads, you can make cute patterns for framing with your own hands. An option for decorating the edges is to place threads along them so that they form strange patterns. You can also make floral and other designs from threads. Be sure to outline the intended pattern with a thin pencil line onto which you glue the threads.

A postcard with a miniature of a thread product that is in the process of being manufactured looks very stylish. To make it, you need to carefully draw a sweater, glue wool threads and attach toothpicks to the top of the product, simulating knitting needles.

You can make a card for your grandmother as a gift for her birthday, just like that, or, as in our case, for Mother’s Day. After all, the grandmother is the mother of one of the parents. I present a master class of our idea, I will describe not only how to make it, but also share several possible options text.

Hello Dear friends blog, tomorrow is Mother's Day in our country of residence. This event is similar to March 8 in Russia, except that it is celebrated only female half already having children. My son, 6 years 7 months old, composed a poem for me at school. At the end of the article I will show you his gift, and most importantly it will be one of the ideas on how to write a congratulation text. We also prepared a card with a rather interesting meaning for my husband’s mother. So, less words– more to do, let’s start the master class.

How to make a postcard for grandma as a gift

What every granny will appreciate is the attention shown by her grandchildren. This will not require large expenses, but thinking about the meaning of the craft, what meaning it will convey to the recipient - this is main attribute success. For a couple of days I went through the motives of bouquets in my head - usually, it’s cliched; collages of photographs - a lot of material, but there is not a single photo with grandma.

And then I decided to look into my bins to create something together with my son. I was determined to only use what I already had in the house. Anyone who works with children will understand me well: every time we think about an activity, we rush to the store, buy everything we “need” or just like, and soon discover that we urgently need to sort it out. Sitting over the huge drawer, I took each thing in my hands and thought: “What exactly can a child make from it with his own hands?” The idea came unexpectedly, it surprised even me, but it turned out beautifully, moderately soulful and appropriate to the meaning of the holiday.

What motivated me or necessary things:

  • Chenille wire;
  • a piece of twine;
  • sheet of paper for scrapbooking.

You can still see the buttons in the photo; Alexander likes to work with them, but this time he did without them. We also replaced the stationery silicone with hot silicone (I helped my boy attach the parts with a heat gun).

As you can see, I immediately drew a tree on the basis and asked my son: “You already know what a family tree is?” The answer was positive and we quickly drew on a white sheet of paper the branches of an ascending pedigree, that is, starting precisely with the name of my child. So, let's figure it out Once again that grandma is dad’s mother and that although he has a sister (aunt) and she has children, Alexander is the only successor to the family name.

The idea is clear, let's start implementing it. In order for the crown to “lay down” beautifully, we started from the trunk. We cut the twine into pieces and glued it onto the drawn base.

For the crown, the master took strips of wire and rolled them into rings; he chose the technique himself.

The next step is to attach them to the paper, starting from the bottom. It immediately becomes clear that spirals are needed different sizes so that there is no free space between them. To do this, my six-year-old cut the wire in half.

Now all that remains is to attach the apples and then my boy says:

Mom, grandmother Teersa has 5 grandchildren, which means there should be five apples.

Of course, why not! So it was my grandson who came up with the idea of how to sign the gift.

How to sign a postcard

The lyceum where my son studies has already introduced a computer literacy lesson. For now this is just learning the keys in game form, but my boy set out to learn to type quickly. Therefore, just take my word for it that all the text was typed and printed by him.

WITH front side, it was decided to write only “For Grandma.” The child was delighted with the possibility of cutting with curly scissors. I don’t even know why we use them extremely rarely. Inside is the following text:

The five apples are: Gabriela, Gianmarco, Sebastian, Daniel and I, Alexander. Happy Mother's Day to you grandma! You gave me the most valuable thing in life - my dad.

If you came to my blog for the first time, I’ll explain that our life takes place in the Dominican Republic, where the national language is Spanish. In my opinion, the signature fits perfectly with the theme of the performance. And we will see the reaction to it tomorrow.

  1. Chocolate is a horse.
  2. Rose - frost.
  3. The world is a reference point.
  4. Waiting is a date.
  5. Ruby - name day.

Mami, para ti hay un pastelito
Y tambien un chocolate.
Estamos en un buen mundo
Yo te quiero muy profundo.

Tu heres muy preciosa
Te voy a regalar una rosa.
Yo tengo mucha esperanza
Para que tu bailes Linda danza.

Te voy a dar un rubi
Y yo voy a comer un mani.
Y para ti es una buena solution
Cantar Linda cancion.

If translated literally, the meaning is clear, but the poetic beauty is completely lost. But still…

Mommy has a curly cupcake for you
And also chocolate.
We live in a good world
I love you very deeply.

You are very beautiful
I'll give you a rose.
I have great hope
that you will dance a beautiful dance.

I'll give you a ruby
I'll eat peanuts myself.
And this is a good reason for you
Sing a beautiful song.

Of course I will sing and dance with a tambourine for my favorite person in the world!

But let's return to the older generation. I think children are 5-6 years old with a little help parent, and junior schoolchildren almost independently, they will be able to compose quatrains for their beloved grannies. I am sure that such filling of a handmade gift will touch the heart of each of them. What do you think, dear readers?

I’m saying goodbye to you, I need to get some sleep, because tomorrow I have a well-deserved holiday - I’m a mother!
